Former Democratic Representative Artur Davis addressed the Northern Virginia Tea Party on Monday. The tea party conservatives embraced the former Alabama Democrat after he gave a fiery defense of conservative Republican policies and rallied the crowd to defeat his one-time political ally, President Barack Obama.

Davis invoked both the 1980 Reagan revolution and Rosa Parks, earning him a standing ovation and chants of “U.S.A.” from more than 100 gathered at a restaurant in a suburb just outside Washington, D.C.
The crowd loved him.

  1. Wasn’t this guy one of the Democrats, who voted against Obamacare, because he genuinely felt it was wrong? I think he is.

In any case, Davis is a brave man. The racists who make-up the Progressive movement are going to come out of the woodwork. He is going to be severely attacked by all the traitors in that fascist movement, who work for the end of America.

Davis doesn’t agree with them, so look for them to assassinate his character, just as they do with any person who disagrees with their political ideology. The fascists can’t stand reasoned dialogue; it is too much for them. They like to bully and intimidate instead.

  2. He’s clean and well spoken.

  3. If Davis ever got back into the House of Reps, he would be more trusted to tell the truth about the Alinsky left than Boehner would.

  4. Due to his political history, Rep. Davis is now in a unique position to strongly(?) influence other democrats who may be less than satisfied with BO’s reign – and there are likely more than a few.

Good job Mr. Davis, conservatives will stand behind an honest man with integrity.

  5. No way he could articulate Conservative values this well unless he was a closeted Conservative forced to stay on the liberal plantation. Good for Artur!

  6. Former Democratic Representative Artur Davis addressed the Northern Virginia Tea Party on Monday. The tea party conservatives embraced the former Alabama Democrat ….

There are other voters who lean toward the democrats who agree with him.

  7. What? A black man being applauded by a racist Tea Party crowd? The Ministry of Information will not approve.

  8. Another one of donks has turned and kick me in arse. I am rubbing my butt trying to figure out what went wrong!

Did he get my worthless talking points memo that David Axelrod composed?

Is he disgusted just because Black unemployment is through the roof?

Is he sick of having to pay sky-high gas prices because I have killed all of the Jobs in the Energy Exploration sector?

Is he angry over my load of lies I have given black people?

Sure, he is entitled to his opinion… but not at this time! My Bus is very large and dark.

He should be careful crossing the road at night… even if he driving his car. As they say Big Bus wheels keep on turning and splattering my opponents. Haha!

My bus is smoking and is going into the shop for repair. I will have new spiked tires installed not only to chew up my opponents but to generally wreck America’s highways.

David Axelrod has a new scam to cheat my NAACP donors. It’s the old “Bait and Switch” scam. I cannot go into details at this time. My campaign may suck but once I bankrupt America it will suck worse. Good day.

  9. God bless you, Rep. Davis.

And, yes, American Woman, he did vote against Obamacare.

  10. This guy is a classic poll – he’s at the right place at the right time.

That’s what really matters beyond race or religion or anything else.

McCain was winning in September 2007 until the economic crash when Obama completely toasted him in the response to the September 2007 “Wall Street Crash” ………

Obama has always need “others” to help him slide into the undeserved power he has acquired.

It’s actually a lot about how much you are willing to do to win……..like I said……trying to situate yourself in the right place at the right time in history matters.

This guy is there. Good for him.

  11. ++

  13. great values, strong presentation!…but next time, leave your baby home. do you think they’re going to get the message? annoying

  14. I remember awhile back when Davis said he had been wrong to help protect Fannie/Freddie from the Republican reform efforts. I thought, “Wow, that’s honorable.” Later, when he said something else that ran against the party line, I thought, “There’s an honest man — someone to watch.”

Very happy that he’s taken the risk to embrace principle. Welcome, Rep. Davis!
