Suspected bus bomber Mehdi Ghezali served time in Gitmo from 2002-2004.
Former Gitmo detainee Mehdi Ghezali participated in the the Swedish documentary GITMO: The New Rules Of War that premiered in 2005. Ghezali was released from the prison in 2004. Mehdi Ghezali was apprehended by Pakistani authorities in August 2009 with a dozen other individuals. Pakistani security officials claim the travelers planned to travel to Miranshah, Waziristan, to meet with a Taliban leader.
In the movie Mehdi Ghezali told reporters he was not a terrorist and was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
On Wednesday Mehdi Ghezali blew up a bus in Bulgaria killing himself and 8 Israeli children.
