Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) doubled down on his attacks on Democrat Nancy Pelosi.
The South Carolina conservative told FOX News that Pelosi needs to see a mental health professional.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) responded to Nancy Pelosi’s latest charges of racism:
“This is really beneath the dignity of someone who serves in Congress. It remains mind-numbingly stupid to try to connect the two issues… When you have the facts you pound the facts. When you have the law, you pound the law. When you don’t have either one as Speaker Pelosi doesn’t you make ad hominem attacks and you play the last cards in the deck or throw a Hail Mary pass which in this case is to accuse some of us of racism. I’ll say it again, if she really believes that she needs to schedule an appointment with a mental health professional…
If she would spend more time helping us get to the bottom of Fast and Furious and less time trying to get the Speaker’s gavel back in her hand we’d be making some progress.“

3 days ago Gallup got everyone excited with having Obama at 43% approval. I said, “Do not trust this – with a few days he will be back over 50% – Gallup is highly unstable”.
Today, Obama is FRICKIN +5 ON GALLUP BACK TO 51. That is an 8 point surge in 3 days on a 7 day moving average poll. In other wprds, COMPLETELY INSANE!
What possible reason could there be for Obama to go from 43 to 51% on Gallup in 3 days? There simply is none. Gallup is not a trusted source.

Rassmussen Reports has the most reliable numbers…and today it’s would totally contradict the Gallup poll.
Nancy is now so under water in her credibility that her best tact is to resign.

As I mentioned previously, this far out pollsters like Gallup are trying out different models as a runup to the election. To have Obama fall 8 points then rebound 8 points in one week is just not statistically reasonable.
Of course the MSM wouldn’t touch Obama at 43% with a 10 foot poll but I can expect Obama at 51% will be everywhere today.

Nice to see a GOPer give the phony racism charge the back of his hand. More stalwart staring down of this charge by GOPers will neuter it, and move the debate to substantive points.
Too often, they quiver in a corner at the prospect of a racism charge, and it becomes an effective silencer.
