Health and Human Services Goes On Massive Spending Binge Before Supreme Court Ruling

Cha-Ching! Obama’s HHS Dempartment blew $2.7 billion since the Supreme Court heard the healthcare case.
The Obama Health and Human Services Department has blown over at least $2.7 billion since oral arguments in the case ended on March 28.
The Politico reported:
Conservatives wanted the White House to stop spending on the health care law until the Supreme Court rules on whether it’s constitutional.
But the administration has forged ahead, spending at least $2.7 billion since oral arguments in the case ended on March 28.
That’s more than double the amount that was handed out in the three-month period leading up to the arguments, according to a POLITICO review of funding announcements from the Department of Health and Human Services.
While much — if not all — of this funding was in the pipeline well before March, the timeline for handing out specific funds is not set in stone, which gives the agency leeway over the kinds of dollars it has been handing out.
And the stakes have increased as the date of a Supreme Court ruling approaches, because money that is spent won’t have to be repaid, most likely. But remaining funds will dry up if the court strikes down the law.
The court is expected to announce its decision next week.
The $2.7 billion includes grants and awards that have been handed out since the Supreme Court arguments — including more than $90 million in funds for health insurance cooperatives that HHS announced Friday afternoon.

Last week, the administration announced that it will stop deporting young illegal aliens. The policy shift affects as many as 800,000 illegal immigrants. Mr. Obama’s order lifts the fear of deportation. It also grants them work permits. Mr. Obama has waved his magic wand and converted the immigration status of countless aliens, flipping them from illegal to legal residents.
The order applies to those who entered America before the age of 16 and are younger than 30, who have been living here for at least five years, have no violent criminal background, possess a U.S. high school diploma or have served in the military. The policy change is a blatant attempt to bribe the Hispanic vote prior to the November election – a key constituency Mr. Obama must win.
Yet, the order is more than crass partisan politics. It is an ominous usurpation of centralized power – a naked attempt to entrench an imperial presidency. Mr. Obama lacks the legal authority to grant amnesty. He is not a monarch or tyrant with unlimited discretionary authority. Rather, he is confined by our constitutional system of the separation of powers and checks and balances. The Constitution is crystal-clear: Congress has the sole power to craft immigration policy. Mr. Obama’s actions are flagrantly anti-democratic.
His goal is simple: to destroy the American nation. For decades, our supposed betters have encouraged open borders and unlimited Third World immigration. Corporatist Republicans seek to import cheap labor; liberal Democrats want to import millions of potential voters. The middle- and working-class, however, have been decimated. Their wages have eroded, crime has skyrocketed, border states in the South are overwhelmed, and hospitals, schools and welfare services have been strained to the breaking point. Illegal immigration is slowly bankrupting America.’

I’m not sure that Obama will pay any attention to the Supreme’s, he and his cadre have ignored judges rulings before.
1) court ordered stop to hindering drilling in the gulf
2) Defense of marriage act, just two that I can think of.
They have no respect for the laws of this country or for the constitution, I’m afraid they will have to be forced to comply, and the R’S will need a back bone. Boehner has no back bone, nor does McConnell. Change is needed.

Obama is, in this case, just the stalking horse for innumerable Socialist/Communists hired into the Federal Agencies. While he merrily fiddles (and spends our over depeleted money) they craft the Marxist regulations that will be impossible to countermand regardless of who next sits in the White House Worry Seat.
I would prefer the Reaganesque tactic of closing the Federal Government and firing every so-called ‘public servant’ on the spot. I’d like to see a blaket Excutive Order cancelling every other EO issued by this failed regime.

I agree–with ‘King oBama’ at the helm, I wouldn’t put anything past him when the Supremes announce their ruling next week. I suspect he’ll do whatever is the most self-aggrandizing thing to do to demonstrate HIS power over the balance of powers that has served our Republic so well and then pat himself on the back for doing so.

My doctor friend say that ObamCare is going to be crammeed into Medicare which is nation-wide and a health hegemon on its own. Medicare has not been overturned and unless there is some kind of arrest-and-detain part of the ruling if it does scotch obama care, the Junta will just move on.
The GOP will do nothing so Obamacare moves fwd. I hope not. I hope the GOP will de-fund something.
that’s the thing about voting forthe Donks. they are ready to rule at all itmes. Lawsuits, subpoenas, congressional hearings, whatever it takes plus help by the media on the gOP.
However the GOP is always seemingly befuddled.Maybe I will be mistaken this time,but I think the elites inthe GOP want Obamna care because they see the power and want it,too.

Ah, but that could get dicey for Hussein. Ignoring Congress is one thing, ignoring the SC quite another. Officers in the U.S. military take an oath to defend the Constitution not the president and if Hussein decides to flout the SC it could command the military to remove him a la Honduras.
