On Memorial Day Veteran Males Give Romney a 24 Point Lead Over Obama

It’s not a surprise really, considering all of Barack Obama’s antiwar rhetoric over the years.
Gallup reported:

U.S. veterans, about 13% of the adult population and consisting mostly of older men, support Mitt Romney over Barack Obama for president by 58% to 34%, while nonveterans give Obama a four-percentage-point edge.

And, veteran males give Romney a 28 point edge over Obama.

But, they do make a pretty good photo op.

    just have to share email:

Columnist Andrew McCarthy gives us what probably is the most
important question regarding the upcoming presidential election….

“…..if Mitt wins the nomination, as seems very likely, I will enthusiastically
support his candidacy. For my friends who have hesitation on that score,
I’d just ask you to keep four things in mind:

1.. Justice Scalia just turned 78

2.. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year

3.. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August

4.. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago.

We wish them all well, of course, but the brute fact is that whoever we
elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least
one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court — in addition to
hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making
momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.

If you don’t think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt
Romney or Barack Obama, I think you’re smokin’ something funky….”

So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite
didn’t get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can’t win…

Well after this election we’ll definately get a good look at the percentages of stupid people who despite Obama’s criminal actions and down-right stupidity, will vote for him. I’m interested what the numbers will be.

But, they do make a pretty good photo op.

Translation: They’re are nothing but tools to him. And when a tool has outlived its usefulness,…

If you don’t think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt
    Romney or…

What’s the guarantee that if Romney manages to win that we won’t get another Souter, or a series of Souters?

  • lizzy84

I’m not happy that Romney will be the nominee but I will do anything I can to support him.
    oBama MUST be defeated.

PS. Please, Mitt Romney, stop call him a “nice guy.” He’s NOT.

    Captains of Industry

[Maybe business schools should think about sending their students to
boot camp instead. A study of CEOs who have served in the military
finds that companies run by former soldiers are less likely to commit
fraud than CEOs who never served. But honesty may come at a cost
to shareholders—the same study finds that military CEOs also produce
lower returns at the companies they manage.

With democrats, the question is,….WILL THEIR BALLOTS BE COUNTED THIS TIME?….The last few election cycles the votes of our troops haven’t been counted. It is always some nonsense about they can’t get the ballots to troops on time, even though the official count doesn’t take place until mid December. Stop it, that is bull$hit !!!!

  • Sasja

Mark, just stay on top of things and make sure your state gets those ballots out on time.
People, these things are handled at the local level, so if you think your state will not do right by our military than get busy to see it does.

The time of relying on “others” to see that elections are conducted lawfully are over. Get involved and get busy.

The only guarantee is that Obama will appoint more like Sonia Sotomayor. Obama’s leanings are blatantly obvious. I’d rather take my chances with Mitt Romney and be wrong than Obama and be right.

An appropriate post on Memorial Day. Veterans aren’t the only group moving away from The One. Moderate suburbanites in swing states – women in particular – are emerging as THE key demographic. And if Mitt’s campaign stops last week are any indication, he’s going after them, hard … http://bit.ly/qVdDUt

    #5 Economan,

And after we see who it is that voted for Obama we need to take out a class action suet against them to show that they are no longer entitled to vote, on anything, and demand that our Houses pass a Constitutional amendment to allow only those who know right from wrong to have the right to vote. And that is to know the difference between liberal and conservative. If they don’t know the difference then they loose the right to vote. I’m sick and tired of being held at gun point everytime the vote comes around.

In my town we just had a vote to renew a whole bunch of different kinds of tax renewals. And you would think for sure that after these three and ahalf years of Obama and the price of gas and the high price of everything especially utilities like electricity everybody would vote against any and all taxes I don’t give a damn if it’s a renewal or a new tax. And of course what did the liberals do to sucker voters to vote for the taxes? They said the taxes would be used to build and maintain libraries…….for the children.

And I’ll be damn what did these idiots who have always done the wrong thing? You’d think that since there is a massive awakening going on in America, and everybody and his brother knows all the liberal tricks to get people to vote for stuff they don’t need and shouldn’t be voting for, do???

THEY VOTE FOR EVERY SINGLE TAX BY A WIDE MARGIN!!!!!!!!! I called the damn newspaper and spoke a “letter to the editor” in hopes I could cuss, so to speak, the citizens of my town and they’d print it, but they didn’t, that my fellow citizens….ARE IDIOTS!!!!! MY HOPES ARE THAT THESE FOOLS ENJOY PAYING ALL THE HIGH *SS TAXES THAT ARE ABOUT TO BE LEVIED ON US AS OF JAN. 1ST 2013 when Obama puts his 1.4 trillion dollar tax on our poor butts. These fools here didn’t and don’t get it that the lower your city and state taxes are the less will come out of our money when these huge Federal taxes come down. But nooooooooo! THEY ARE TO DAMN STUPID TO HAVE GOTTEN IT WHEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE TO SEND THE STRONGEST MESSAGE TO OUR CITIES AND STATES, THAT WE AREN’T GOING TO PAY ANY MORE TAXES!!!

What’s the best way to stop liberal Democrats from spending money? Cut the money off by voting down every single tax that comes……EVERY SINGLE ONE!! I have voted against every single tax, tax increase, tax renewal, every kind of tax that ever has come before the people since 1980 when I reregistered to vote. I did drop out for awhile because I just didn’t figure it was worth it anymore that these bastards in Washington were going to do what they want to do so what is the use to vote against someone because they are never who they say they are. What I learned though was you have got to contact them after they are in office and stand on their neck!!!

If this poll is accurate, there’s only one way to explain 34% of our troops supporting Obama. Too much Affirmative Action Recruiting.
