Happy Mother’s Day 2012

“All that I have ever become I owe to my angel mother.”
– Abraham Lincoln

Proverbs 31:25-31

She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

“Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

  1. Jim – I suspect I know where your thoughts drift today. Mine too. We were both mighty blessed.

  2. If anyone deserved to get through those gates it was my mom.

    I miss her everyday even though she’s been gone 6-1/2 years.

    God bless you, mom.

  3. Brings tears to my eyes, it has almost been a year since my mother died, just two weeks after I deployed to Afghanistan. I’m still here and she is gone.

  4. My Mom has also been gone seven years and I miss her so very much.
    God Bless all Mother’s today and everyday.

  5. My mom has been gone for 12 years but her love and support are still with me. Your baby will remember.

  6. Thank you all for your moving comments. ClarityRising, my prayers are with you.

  7. I wish every Mother the best and the love they give and the dreams, hopes and best they wish for their children.

    They are amazing, they are the glue that holds families together.

    They run the household and budget, work at other jobs and some may stay home but through it all Family is First for the Mother.

    Their love is something almost indescribable. Sacrificing anything for their children.

    One case comes to mind and she has been on my mind, I would like to introduce you to one amazing Mother: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/03/18/article-0-123A7BD9000005DC-343_634x468.jpg Her Picture Here

    Oops I forgot!

  12. Thank You Jim, it is Precious!

  13. I lost my Mom couple of years ago.
    A piece of a Tribute to her:

    We were very privilege to have such an extraordinary Mother like you Mom. We could not of had a better example of a Wife, Mother, and a Friend. You were always very humble and you taught us how to love and respect everyone. You were always caring for us. You were the heart of the family. I never remember coming home and finding you resting…you were always working, cooking, cleaning…
    But what I appreciate the most is that you taught us to reverence God, to fear God, and to have faith in God! I will forever miss hearing from your lips “God is Holy”! And though I miss you, I know you are the happiest you have ever been, for I know you and Dad asked Jesus to save your souls!!! Rom. 10:13
    FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.
