My, what a difference a year makes…
Last March tens of thousands of angry Wisconsin Democrats and their union backers took to the streets of Madison to rally against Republican Scott Walker and his efforts to balance the state budget.

Police estimated up to 100,000 people turned out in Madison, WI to protest Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) assault on unions. (Think Progress)

Now with less than 10 days before the June 5 recall election, Wisconsin Democrat leaders the Obama Campaign tried to do it again.
Too bad only a couple hundred supporters showed up.

It was a pathetic turnout.
Scott Walker Watch has the video.

According to the most recent polling average compiled by the political Web site RealClearPolitics, Walker is ahead of his Democratic opponent by 6.4 percentage points.

  1. Crap, you had me scared with that first photo. I thought it was current.

  2. On, Wisconsin!

Prayers for Scott Walker and our Country.

  3. When you’re not being paid by the taxpayers by being “on the clock” to attend a rally to tell those same taxpayers how cheap and ungrateful they are then I guess only a few show up.

“The gall of those taxpayers, those cheap *7%^$#^ bastards, for wanting to keep their own money. Imagine, not being willing to stand up for the hard-working public employee and their collective bargaining rights entitling us to take more from those taxpayers.”

  4. maybe the average guy wondered why he should support the guys who benefitted most from government stimulus. when you’re waiting on shovel ready jobs but find out the jokes on you with the lions share of stimulus going to the public sector employees.

  5. And SW policies have WORKED and property taxes

Are lower. Gee kinda hard to throw a guy out

For success that is good for union and non union

    households.

I smell a bad loss for the democrats.

  6. With all I have read about Wisconson, the Dems are toast. Oh yeah

  7. I could only hope that every union in the U.S. would implode and then disappear.

  8. Boy, I hope Walker survives. This could be a huge psychological factor for the Right as we head toward November, and big hit for the Libs, who are fanatical in their hatred for Walker.

  9. You’ve gotta know when you’re licked.

    They’re licked.

  10. I used to be a Democrat but I’m over it. The Democrap party left me 4 yrs. ago and now I’m an Independent.

    Good luck to Mr. Walker.

You’ve made headway, become a TEA party

    member.

  12. What? The busses weren’t running that day? Hmmm….
Scott Walker is just plain brave. Good man and a very good governor who stuck to his promises and ideals. We need more men like him in congress.

  13. June 5, is not the day Wisconsin saves Scott Walker. June 5, is the day Wisconsin saves America.

  14. Talk about a website for Koch suckers. I’ll let the June 5th election do the talking. You Teabaggers are just hoping for a small turnout. That photo this repubtard website posted was 4 hours before the rally. Keep up the good work, losers.

  15. Where have all the college students gone…
    home, not voting.

  16. Leave it to bunch of Koch Suckers to take pride in a Teabagging crooked Governor that needs 25 million from outside the State to stay in office. The punk has more face time on Faux News than Sean Hannity. I hope the frog march the crook out of the Governors Mansion. The only Governor in the Country that has a criminal defense fund. You Teabaggers hate Obama more that Osama Bin Laden. That says it all.

  17. The video doesn’t show it 4 hours before the failure. Democrats can’t take it so they all resort to lies. You O’Dumbo suckers have a lot of competition at his alter, and payback is hell.

  18. Willie is off his meds.

The voters and teachers and fore fighters and police can read and they read the news about no layoffs, more revenue to the state, lore jobs etc. People vote their pocketbooks.
1-2007 Democrats take house and senate control. Unemployment rate 4.6%
1-2009 Democrats take MORE house and senate seats 7.8%
    1-2011 Repubs take house 9.1%
    4-2012 8.1%
    1-2013 ?
