Obama Bashes Bush & Says Election Will Be “Fun Debate” …(Between Socialism and Freedom)

He really can’t help it.
President Obama bashed Bush last night for the economy he made worse.

He also told supporters that the election this year “will be a fun debate” over ideas.

Agreed.
The AP reported:

President Barack Obama said Thursday that the 2012 election will be a “fun debate” over two competing visions for the nation, referring to Mitt Romney as the Republican “front-runner” who has backed policies that would undermine middle-class families.

At a fundraiser held at a Washington hotel, Obama told supporters that his administration had spent the past three years “cleaning up after some of that mess, and I don’t want to have to do it again.” He warned that a budget plan pushed by House Republicans would hurt early childhood education, veterans and road and bridge projects crucial to the nation’s economic recovery.

The president told about 250 donors that the House Republican budget was one that “Governor Romney, who is the front-runner on the Republican side, has embraced. He said the budget was marvelous,” Obama said. “And when you go through this budget, the vision that it portrays is of an America where everybody is fending for themselves.”

Kirsten Kukowski, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, said in response that Obama was “still pointing fingers instead of talking about his accomplishments. The president who was all about hope and change has now resorted to distortion and fear.”

Obama revisited many of the same arguments he made earlier in the week during a speech to newspaper executives, in which he framed the election as a choice between his work to use government to help people prosper and Republicans who would let average Americans struggle while pushing policies that help the wealthy few.

“It’s going to be a big debate, and it’s going to be a fun debate. Because it’s always good to have the truth on your side,” Obama said.

Good luck in that debate, Barack.

Obama is the worst jobs president since the Great Depression.

Federal non-defense spending soared under Obama.

Then there’s this by John E. at Ace of Spades:

Oh, and the economy was downgraded for the first time in a century.

If the election this year is about economics, Obama better start packing his bags now.

Obama could find the truth if you taped a trillion dollar spend bill to it.

  • Frank Scarn

If Romney structures his campaign properly the issues facing America could be presented as one of Freedom, personal and economic, versus the tyranny of big government and socialism.

Please, Lord, don’t let Romney be another Dole or McCain campaigner. The stakes are just too high.

  • Redwine

Will Romney defend freedom and the Constitution against the tyranny and the evil lies of Comrade Barry Hussein? Or Romney will play “nice” and do a McCain on conservatives and “go along to get along”? If the man who will probably be picked to lead the GOP into the election will not call Hussein a socialist, not even to his face, and who jumped without a second thought right on Hussein’s bandwagon to defend his baseless charge against Augusta National, then how are we to expect him to come to our defense?

Of course, Hussein thinks debating Romney will be fun. It’ll be a walk in the park.

Devil Obama, we break your power of bondage, in Jesus name. Amen

  • Sorry to Live in Illinois

Yeah, well we unfortunately have a crap candidate and O has the media. I bet he does have fun.

Does anyone even know what the truth is anymore?

  • The truth is the “undecided independents” that sit in focus groups on CNN a week before the election not sure wondering if the GOP candidate really understands “their issues” need to be cut off by family members with jobs who provide them with food, sofas, TV and computers. Time to be adults. Playtimes’ over. Each one of us needs to change one mind. We can do this. Doesn’t matter if Romney isn’t your first choice. I’m pretty sure he’s a good and decent man who loves this country. EACH ONE WIN ONE

I do believe that Americans won’t allow another Community Organizer and Part Time Lecturer as president, ever, ever, again.

And when Americans get punched down, they will come back, only this time we will take back our America. He has been insulting, evading, blaming and not ONCE an apology for mistakes.

The only ones he apologizes too, are other nation’s for Bush. Shameful and a disgrace that we must bare witness to anyone, let alone a president making such horrible statements.

I am going to HAVE FUN, when I vote No to BO.

“cleaning up after some of that mess, and I don’t want to have to do it again.”

He’s full of crap. There’s more debt and less people working now than when Bush was in office.

No one in their right mind would call that a “cleanup”.

Trump: Obama Has Deal With Saudis to Cut Oil Prices Before Election

[“Even though gasoline and oil prices are going through the roof, I have
no doubt in my mind that President Obama made a deal with the Saudis
to flood the markets with oil before the election, so he can at least keep
it down a little bit,” Trump says in an Internet video as part of his series
“From the Desk of Donald Trump.”

    [..]

After the election, the oil market is going to be a mess, Trump says.

“If he [Obama] wins, oil and gasoline shoot through the roof like
never before. Let’s hope he doesn’t win. I believe a deal was
made. It’s a sinister deal, but let’s see whether or not I was right.”]

“and I don’t want to have to do it again.”

Good news! You won’t have to. Or as many of your victims have heard the last three years- “Your services are no longer required. We’ve decided to go in a different direction.”

  • Taqiyyotomist

    Completely surreal.

Obama and Romney, I heard, had an off-the-record meeting in Chicago a few days ago…

I’m guessing it was an agreement that Romney would stay away from eligibility, and stay away from lifelong communist associations from Davis to Ayers to Cloward and Piven.

And on the other side of the agreement? Romney gets his island resort after you take that dive, and everyone in your family gets to live after all.

    —-

And if I’m wrong, and Robomney somehow squeaks out a victory?

Well, folks, this Conservative-in-Deception-Only POTUS’s home state is also home to the JUST NOW, hey what a coincidence, being built, biggest in the world, multi-billion-dollar government-on-citizen spying center!

How convenient for Mitt if he wins.

Or even if he takes that dive. Either way.

Everyday I hear that Romney ran the dirtiest campaign against Santorum and Gingrich and yet there is this belief that Romney will be weak when it comes to Obama. It would seem that when you have the ability to drop kick your primary opponents you also have the same ability when it comes to the big enchalada.

  • sandy

I read a great article on American Thinker. They said it was time for another Patrician. One who doesn’t lose his cool — who loves his country. We have had enough of the emotional idealogue who creates a climate of hate and fear. Stay strong and believe that its not only the posters at Gateway Pundit that feel as we do but there is Silent Majority out there who can’t wait to pull the lever for Romney.

Will Obama cheat? Is the Pope Catholic? But its not going to be enough to change people’s minds. Once Romney becomes the Candidate the entire Republican Party will be standing with him and the commercials will be totally brutal.
