Team Obama won’t like this one bit.

Even before Rick Santorum’s announcement that he would suspend his campaign, Mitt Romney was tied up with Barack Obama yesterday.
Rasmussen reported:
In a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup, President Obama and Mitt Romney are tied at 45%. Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).
If Rick Santorum is the GOP nominee, the president leads 45% to 42%. This is the final time that Rasmussen Reports will update Santorum’s numbers against Obama on a daily basis. Given the state of the Republican primary competition, Santorum’s numbers will now be updated weekly. Rasmussen Reports also updates the latest matchup numbers for Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul about once a week.
But not all Republicans were excited about Santorum’s announcement yesterday.

And it will be buried, until the media can cherry pick one, whose sampling is insane biased, that shows Barry up by 5 points.
That being mainly in the unmarried women with 4 kids, who want a quasi hubby figure that will send them a check each month demo….

tied isn’t good enough…need to bury the mooslum… now for a little morning humor….
An Arab enters a taxi……….Once he is seated he asks the cab driver
to turn off the radio because he must not hear music as decreed by his
religion and, in the time of the prophet, there was no music,
especially Western music which is music of the infidel’s and certainly
no radio …….. So the cab driver politely switches off the radio,
stops the cab and opens the back door. The Arab asks him: “Watt are you
doing man?” The cabby answers: “In the time of the prophet there were
no taxis. So get out and wait for a camel.”

Well written article by John Hawkins, in that link at the bottom of the main post. I hope some of the “I’ll never vote for Romney because he’s the same as Obama ” folks will read that.
As for me, I don’t have to love Romney to vote for him against Obama. I don’t even have to like him much. All I need to do is look ar Obama, the damage he has done, and the damage he wants to do over the next 4 years.
The choice is clear, between a Marxist Quisling who hates American values, and a less-than-perfect politician who loves his country.

Yeah but the poll with a +11 Democrat sample shows Obama with a good lead and 50% approval.

Obama will lose the general by 10 points.

Lets see who the VP is. If Mitt can find some Buffy the vampire slayer blonde who helps him win the ” war on women “, this might turn out being a big victory.

As we are going to be bombarded with polls until election day, a few things to keep in mind:
Any poll that does not show the data is crap. Ignore it.
Any poll that shows a base self-identifying as more Democrat than Republican is crap. Ignore it.
Any poll of “adults” is crap. Ignore it.
Any poll that does not show its questions is crap. Ignore it.
Any poll of less than 500 people for a state or 1000 people for the nation is crap. Ignore it.
Any poll from some no-name firm you’ve never heard of is crap. Ignore it.
Any really decent polling is usually done by the campaigns themselves and those numbers are closely guarded secrets, you will not see them. Therefore, what you will see is news organization propaganda crap. Ignore it.
The only poll that matters is on election day.

More poll news: the latest WaPo/ABC poll, which was heavily skewed in its sampling, still has lots of bad news for the Dems.

It pays to read the background information.
Bill Mitchell commented:
You see, unlike ABC/WAPO, Rasmussen does not give Dems an 11 point advantage in the sample. The funny thing is that the left will claim Rasmussen is a “Republican Pollster” and completely ignore the wildly biased polling from their own end.
Marvin commented:
Polling (of Democrats) by the MSM is labelled ‘registered voters’ – gives BO a slight lead.
Polling (of mostly Democrats) by the MSM is labelled ‘likely voters’ – shows an even race.
Hmmm.
People who DON’T want to suffer a second term of BO, and who have trouble supporting Mitt Romney should simply campaign against BO.
JUST SAY NO TO BO.
Butch commented:
@ Warthog,
Those polls may not be accurate either.

Romney trails Obama amonst woman (by 15+ points), blacks (by 80+points) and hispanics. Forget about the black voters, they are a lost cause and Obama starts the election at 12 to 0
The republicans must pick a hispanic or latino to run with romney
As for women, the key is Ann Romney. She must be put in the front lines and appear regularly on Oprah, CNN, etc

I don’t see how anyone can vote to keep this guy in office. Whenever I speak with family, friends or the occasional cashier or fellow ‘person standing inline’, Obama’s numbers don’t even make the chart. People want him out yesterday. They can say what they want to the pollsters, but they aren’t voting for him. Nope, not because he’s black, not because he speaks so eloquently (which I never got in the first place), not because he wants a historic place in history. Not going to happen, hate it for him, he’s out of there! Then we’ll see who steps up to investigate his shady (blatantly corrupt) regime. Get the popcorn, it’s going to get interesting.
sandy commented:
Obama’s signaling a dirty campaign says that the more people see Romney the more they will hate him. He says this at one of his countless campaign stops while snarling and eating his mike.
Nelle commented:
#20 He’s just projecting. Apparently he knows that the more we see/hear him, the less we can stomach him.
Americans don’t like arrogance. We don’t like liars. We don’t like Socialists. And it doesn’t matter what color they are.
