Where do they find these nutjobs?
Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson told an audience on Monday that religion is not driving the extremist violence in Nigeria after the Islamist group Boko Haram took credit for slaughering 39 Christians at Easter services on Sunday.
These clowns will get us all killed.
CNS News has the clip.
Here is the entire video from yesterday’s discussion:

CNS News reported on the nonsensical speech.

Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson said Monday that “religion is not driving extremist violence” in Nigeria–just one day after a Christian church conducting an Easter service was targeted by a car bombing that left 39 dead.

Similarly, on Christmas Day, the Nigerian Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, attacked a Catholic church in that country, killing more than 40 people.

“I want to take this opportunity to stress one key point and that is that religion is not driving extremist violence either in Jos or northern Nigeria,” Assistant Secretary of State Carson said Monday at a forum on U.S. policy toward Nigeria held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.

The Islamist group Boko Haram took credit for the attack. They declared war on Christians in December.
What is Johnnie Carson not getting?

Nigerian security personnel inspect the mangled remains of bomb-laden car that exploded on April 8, 2012 in northern city of Kaduna, killing at least 20 people. In fresh violence in Nigeria, Islamists shot dead a seven-year-old girl during a failed attempt to kill her policeman father hours after group members killed three in a separate raid, the army and police said. 3. Without having to look at the clip: Global Warming, perhaps?

Maybe not sending enough people or giving enough money to teach these people how to clean their “junk”? Was it for Trayvon?

OT.. well, at the moment anyways..

Thank you to Adam Kredo of the Washington Free Beacon for this excellent write-up on the Islamist smear campaign against Dr. Jasser!

“Sources on Capitol Hill familiar with Jasser’s appointment told the Free Beacon that groups like MPAC and CAIR are concerned that Jasser’s moderate viewpoints will gain traction among American Muslims.

Jasser, they said, poses a threat to those who promulgate radical, anti-American views of Islam.

Jasser himself believes that CAIR and MPAC want to convince the American Muslim community and others that he is out of the mainstream—despite statistics that suggest otherwise.

‘Sacirbey, like many reporters, conflates CAIR and MPAC as the true voice of American Muslims when in fact, according to Gallup, they only represent at best a mere 12 percent of the American Muslim population,’ Jasser said.”

America in the eyes of two Muslim youth

    By Tarek Fatah

[The balmy 30-degree weather in Arizona last week couldn’t shake the chill down my spine as I chatted with a Muslim youth group who had invited me to speak to them. The young girls and boys had organized a retreat, seeking to chart a strategy on how to respond to U.S. Islamist organizations that have inflicted immense damage to their reputation as ordinary Muslims in America.

The Muslim kids in Phoenix may provide the answer to the challenge their parents have not been able to solve. Most of them had read America’s award-winning best-selling novelist and physician, Khaled Hosseini. Their role models were not the bearded imams or the Islamist victimhood merchants of despair, but rather Farid Zakaria and Muhammad Ali.

And right in front of me was a 17-year old who this July will start at the United States Military Academy of West Point, and hopes in four years to graduate as Lt. Samir Abdelkhalek.

When asked, he told me his reason for wanting to serve in the U.S. Army: “This country gave so much to me and my family and to all Muslims, it’s time to give back.” Brimming with confidence, he added “I’d like to one day walk in the shoes of General Patton, my hero.” And he acknowledged dying in combat is a “small price to pay for America and the liberties this country has offered to all of us.”

Will you fight a fellow Muslim, I persisted. “Absolutely,” he said. “I wish I had been in the unit that captured bin Laden.” The boy from Brooklyn may very well be the role model for the next generation of Muslim Americans. U.S. General Samir Abdelhalak: Has a nice ring to it.]

  12. The biggest question is where did Obama, Clinton, Rice, and/or the State Department get people like Carson? Were they career officials or political appointees? What is their background/experiences? Have they had a sanity check because no sane person would say what they do.

It is like the German police in the mid-1930’s saying that attacks on Jews were not acts of religious hatred and incitement.

THis is how genocide gets its start. Denial of the cause of the violence and the target of it; covering up the crimes; then protecting the criminals through disinformation. And finally, joining in the slaughter – i.e. Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Rwanda, Kosovo (et al), Nigeria, the Congo, Idi Amin in Uganda, Assad in Syria, Egyptians against the Coptic Christians; the killing of Jews, Christians, homosexuals in Iran, and the list goes on.

Carson should be fired immediately for stupidity. I hope the Republican-controlled House Foreign Affairs Committee calls him as a witness to explain what the hell he said. The answer will either prove he is stupid beyond belief, or is carrying out official Obama/Clinton policies (which verge on support for “religious genocide” and Islamic “jihad”.

  13. Does Obama even KNOW any normal people?

Thanks for tracking all these kooks, Jim- hard to keep ‘em straight without a scorecard

  14. all marxists practice disinformation. you can’t expect a marxist to tell the truth because truth is a con cept that marxists don’t even believe in. just like american tass.

  15. Wow. Just wow. Sounds like the idiot Clapper (he of the Muslim Brotherhood being “largely secular”). What a dangerously stupid regime.

  16. this guy is a career diplomat appointed to this position by obama. another “smart diplomat” from hillary’s smart diplomacy team.

  17. Hi there to all, how is everything, I think every one
is getting more from this website, and your views are nice designed for new viewers.
