Steny Hoyer Wants Fluke to Sue Limbaugh

Nancy Pelosi called the far left 30 year-old abortion rights advocate yesterday.

Allahpundit is right. They’re not going to let this thing go.
What else do they have?
Democrat Hoyer wants Sandra Fluke to sue Rush Limbaugh for suggesting that she was a slut.
The Montgomery Advertiser reported:

Radio commentator Rush Limbaugh should be sued for calling a law school student a “slut” and “prostitute,” U.S. Rep Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, said Sunday.

“I’d like to see her take him to court,” said Hoyer, who was in Selma for the annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee. “She is not a public figure and, for that reason, she should be able to sue for slander, libel or whatever else might be involved.”

The student, Sandra Fluke, testified before congressional Democrats that she wanted Georgetown University to pick up birth control costs as part of her college health plan.

Hoyer called Limbaugh’s comments “reprehensible,” a word used by other prominent Americans to denounce the commentators choice of words.

Limbaugh has apologized to Fluke for his comment, but Hoyer and others feel that and the loss of revenue from sponsors who no longer want to be on his program is not enough.

Joseph Lowery, former president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, said he is familiar with “vintage Rush Limbaugh.”

“(Fluke) has ample room to sue him and I hope she does because he’s gotten rich off the mess he causes,” said Lowery, who joined Hoyer and other national leaders in condemnation of Limbaugh.

Meanwhile, democrats continue to trample over religious freedom in America.

I totally support free birth control for liberals. The fewer of them, the better. Can we retroactively abort a few million? The world would be a better place.

why is it every picture I see of pig-losi makes me want to puke…

  • Don’t these congressman have a job their being payed to do by the taxpayers?…..maybe we(taxpayers) should sue these do-nothing congress critters for not doing the job that we are paying them to do….demand our money back……

Did this woman lie to Congress about her age? Or did someone lie to Congress on her behalf?

As has been noted elsewhere in the blogsphere, what a field day Rush’s atty would have with discovery.
And, what happened to “Freedom of Speech”. Ah for me but not for thee, sayeth the Dems.

  • Blacque Jacques Shellacque

Suing Rush might be a bad idea.

Once the digging starts, some embarrassing things might come to light…

  • myohmy

Steny Hoyer does not serve in the interest of this country. He is only interested on power for himself so he can stir perhaps some millions on his bank account on the law they are passing in Congress just like his good friend Nazi Pelosi.

  • JPL17

With all respect that’s due to liars and demagogues, Steny Hoyer is an idiot. Sandra Fluke fits exactly the legal definition of “limited public figure,” in that she has “thrust [herself] to the forefront of particular public controversies in order to influence the resolution of the issues involved.” Her claim against Rush would be frivolous.

Bring it on. First of all, it’s pretty hard to sue someone for slander when it’s true. Secondly, calling someone a slut isn’t slander … it’s a matter of opinion. To some people, having sex with one person out of wedlock makes you a slut. They can beat this drum all day if they want. Public opinion indicates that people are fully aware of the game Democrats are playing here, and they resent this senseless focus on garbage like this while the country is burning down around our ears. If they continue to waste time pursuing ridiculous attacks like this, it will come back to bite them in November. Hell, I think it’s probably too late for them as it is. I know dozens of people who CAN’T WAIT to get to the polls in November ….

Carbonite (which was operating in the RED !!!) stock is falling thru the floor.

They weren’t even breaking even before this started!!! Their CEO smoking something or WHAT? Anyone who subscribes to them better retrieve their stuff and RUN.

  • L. E. Liesner

Only with people like Steny Hoyer and the Democrats could “Flaky Fluke” pass the smell test. She is more proof that liberalism is a mental disease. Didn’t she advocate employers pay for employees sex changes?

  • Amjean

Response to #11: I am so glad that Carbonite is taking a hit! I cancelled my subscription.
Now looking for a replacement. Does anyone know anything about Mozy?

How is Pro Flowers or AOL stock doing? They also pulled their advertising I believe.

    And don’t ever forget…

Sarah Palin is a c___t, rhymes with hunt.

    Michelle Bachmann is a ……

etc… etc..,. etc…. The left calls it comedy, until someone on the right does it! Then it’s no holes bar silencing of speech. Everyone will ultimately lose if Obama wins, the FCC can very quickly silence Rush, they know it. Government regulates the airwaves, but currently they do not regulate satellite transmissions of product or the internet but that’s their plan and the card hasn’t been played yet. They have to stay clean, until after the election but the foundations are being laid. That’s why the media is fawning all over Obama, they all own TV stations in local markets, which have to apply to the FCC for licenses.

This is proof of major Double Standards – Hey Steny, I don’t think your “chosen one” is that private of a citizen when you publicize the fact your plans to attend Georgetown to fight their insurance policy decisions, fighting for government funded sex changes and other radical causes.

Heard from a friend, in the call center industry, Pro Flowers and Carbonite are getting slammed with emails and calls from both sides. Pro Flowers claim they did not want to get into the fray, well then why succumb to Media Matters threats? They could have kept quiet, pulled spots for a few weeks, and continued on after this woman gets her 5 minutes and a new contract at MSNBC. The sponsors who ditched Rush, have that right, like we have the right not to consume their products, which is what I am choosing to do. I’ve dropped HBO and Cinemax, took over 50 minutes with Comcast (another leftist corporate baron, who has really fast internet service, which I choose to consume.)

I suggest we take a few minutes today to let the advertisers know that freedom to advertise and freedom to consume is what makes this country great. This could be a huge marketing disaster for these companies. All this, so the Obama could change the optics and make this about women, when it was really all about the Constitution, the First Amendment and our FREEDOM!

  • myohmy

Next time you know this woman will testify again, this time she wants sex change that taxpayers must subsidize.

  • Redwine

On yesterday’s show, Mark Levin said that if Fluke sued, she would be putting herself under intense public scrutiny, and that wouldn’t give her case much standing in court.

  • Marmo

For those of you that used Carbonite, a very easy way to back up all of your files is to buy a 1 terabyte MyBook Wester Digital external hard drive that plugs into your computer via USB. It only costs a little over $100. It has built in backup software on it and is very easy to set up. It does backups in the background and you don’t even know it’s doing it. And you can use it as an additional hard drive and store whatever you want on it.

So you get all your files backed up and it’s local.

  • Skinner

Discovery during the lawsuit will be very interesting – Hoyer is an idiot but in this case a useful one for conservatives.

Fluke is an activist – has been her entire adult life – this was a set up and it will collapse.

I say “louder and faster” – liberals see pregnancy as a disease, how they think this mustache wearing harpy helps their cause God only knows.

You know they are sweating when they resort to attacking Rush.

Obama is going down hard in November – and Romney will sweep tonight.

It will be so nice to have a classy family in the WH again.

  • Sasja

Marmo. Thanks! I tried desperately the other day to remember the “gizmo”, as I called it, that one could purchase to back up their files.

  • Robert

Since she is a long-time activist, I don’t see how it can be said that she is not a public figure.

  • raggamuffin

Is Steny Hoyer going to pay Sandra Fluke’s court cost? The more information uncovered about Sandra Fluke and her personal lifestyle………she would be a moron to take Rush to court.

Ed Shultz apologized, nobody sues, Rush apologizes, the left wants to sue everyone.

They have had their sights on Rush since he first started broadcasting. Over the years it has intensified. One of the best moments was when stinky Harry Reid tried to get him censored. Rush raised $1M+ dollars for charity, which he matched, auctioning off Reid’s letter. This woman better think long and hard about suing Rush. Some things may come out she would rather keep hidden.

  • Dave-O

There are two pictures at the top of this post – can someone remind me again exactly which one is the so-called “slut”??

  • SeniorD

I hereby offer my services to Mr. Limbaugh’s attorney to assist in what is surely a monumental task of electroninc discovery. Ms. Fluke’s history as a feminist rabble-rouser is well known to Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer so any counter suit would include them.

Limbaugh and Our Phony Contraception Debate

A student demands that a Catholic school give up its religion to pay for her birth-control pills.

Last week Sandra Fluke, a student at Georgetown University Law Center, went to Congress looking for a handout. She wants free birth-control pills, and she wants the federal government to make her Catholic school give them to her.

I’m a graduate of Georgetown Law and former chief counsel of the House Subcommittee on the Constitution. Based on her testimony, I wonder how much Ms. Fluke really knows about the university or the Constitution.

As a law student 20 years ago, I wasn’t confronted by crucifixes in the classroom or, in truth, by any religious imagery anywhere. In that respect the law school has a different “feel” than the university. The law school chapel was an unadorned, multipurpose room in the basement used for Mass when it wasn’t used for Gilbert and Sullivan Society rehearsals and club meetings. Among the clubs while I was there, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance was particularly vigorous.

I was not Catholic when I attended Georgetown Law, but I certainly knew the university was. So did Ms. Fluke. She told the Washington Post that she chose Georgetown knowing specifically that the school did not cover drugs that run contrary to Catholic teaching in its student health plans. During her law school years she was a president of “Students for Reproductive Justice” and made it her mission to get the school to give up one of the last remnants of its Catholicism. Ms. Fluke is not the “every woman” portrayed in the media.

    So is Sarah Palin.
    And so is Michele Bachmann.

Liberal hypocrisy and the incivility of the left…

Tuesday, March 06, 2012Liberal hypocrisy and the incivility of the left… We’ve all witnessed the liberal establishment pouncing on Rush Limbaugh this past week because of comments which he directed at Sandra Fluke, a long time liberal activist.

Brian Maloney, writing at his Blog Radio Equalizer, notes how, “When looking for fresh examples of ‘progressive’ hate talk, it really doesn’t take much digging. From any day’s libtalk lineup, pick an hour at random and one or more will usually slither its way to the surface quickly enough. But why go to the trouble? We’ve already done the work for you, tracking lefty smears by the hundreds (thousands?) here at this site for years. It’s all right here.

Despite their horrible nature, it’s quite rare to see these instances picked up by the establishment media. Conservatives apparently deserve to be slandered. That’s why the latest manufactured OUTRAGE (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) from our ‘progressive’ friends rings hollow. If subjected to the same standard applied to Rush Limbaugh this week, not one libtalker would still be on their air. Instead, two of the most hateful spent today celebrating a new cable talk deal.” (See his full post here).

Remember when Alec Baldwin made an appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien on December 12, 1998, eight days before President Bill Clinton was to be impeached, and said, “..if we were in another country…we would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families, for what they’re doing to this country.”

Where was the liberal outrage? If Rush Limbaugh crossed a line, isn’t it fair to say that Alec Baldwin not only crossed the line but obliterated it? How about the thousands of other examples of liberal hate speech provided at Brian Maloney’s Blog?

Hypocrisy is the pretension to qualities which one does not possess. Capuchin Father Raniero Cantalamessa, in a sermon delivered in the presence of Pope Benedict XVI on March 11, 2007, explained the gravity of hypocrisy: “Hypocrisy is the sin that is most powerfully denounced by God in the Bible and the reason for this is clear. With his hypocrisy, man demotes God, he puts him in second place, putting the creature, the public, in first place. “Man sees the appearance, the Lord sees the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7): Cultivating our appearance more than our heart means giving greater importance to man than to God. parasite: – a person who receives support, advantage, or the like, from another or others without giving any useful or proper return, as one who lives on the hospitality of others.

Here’s the word Rush should have used. It’s non-sexist so it shouldn’t offend women, perfectly descriptive of a 30 year old who attends a $65,000/yr law school and still insists that YOU should pay her bills.

In fact, it’s pretty much descriptive of the Democrat party philosophy.

  • Chris in KY

This has nothing to do with birth control, the constitution, or Flukes damaged feelings. It has everything to do with taking Rush down in the lead up to the election. They are rid if Breitbart, got Beck off fox, if they get Rush too, well, they are most of the way to silencing the right. Rush needs to play clip after clip of the lefts words. Elected officials and media slubs. We have to keep the focus on their hypocritical free speech stance.

Bust of Rush Limbaugh to join Twain’s, others in Missouri Capitol

Rush Limbaugh’s comments last week about a young law school student have caused some advertisers to flee his radio show. But if the leader of the Missouri House has his way, the broadcast icon soon will be in the company of Harry Truman, Walt Disney and Stan Musial.

House Speaker Steve Tilley, R-Perryville, intends to honor Limbaugh with a place in the Hall of Famous Missourians, a ring of busts in the Capitol rotunda recognizing prominent Missourians.

The unveiling is not expected until closer to the end of the legislative session in May. But word of the honor leaked Monday, just as the furor over Limbaugh’s remarks continued to build.

Although the statues are commissioned with private funds, Democrats are already expressing anger at the decision to enshrine Limbaugh next to luminaries of science, culture and politics who have called Missouri home.

Tilley, who, like Limbaugh, hails from southeast Missouri, acknowledged that while not everyone may like the decision, it is difficult to deny the radio commentator’s status as a titan of the communications field.

“It’s not the Hall of Universally Loved Missourians,” Tilley said. “It’s the Hall of Famous Missourians.”

The conservative radio personality has long courted controversy, but his latest comments have provoked sustained outrage.

On his radio show last week, Limbaugh turned his focus on Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown Law School student who had spoken before Congress in favor of including birth control in employer-covered health care plans. Limbaugh called her a ‘slut” and suggested that “if we are going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex,” Fluke should post pictures of herself online.

Limbaugh has since apologized, but that has not stopped a handful of sponsors from leaving his radio show. Nine had dropped the show as of Monday evening, according to the Associated Press, including AOL Inc.

The decision to enshrine Limbaugh was made well before his comments, but the House speaker did not waver Monday.

“I’m not going to go through it and review every comment he’s ever made,” Tilley said. “Just like the people who inducted Mark Twain, Warren Hearnes or John Ashcroft didn’t.”

  • It was not a hearing, she was never placed under oath, she held a press conference in front of only a handful of Democrats, and discovery will be a nightmare for her. She could even be considered a “public figure” given her activism as demonstrated by her “Tweets” beginning in February, so if she wants to step into that meat grinder…no pun intended…I hope she does.

Big Journalism ( points out that Fluke, Media Matters and the White House are coordinating this attack on Limbaugh.

Ms. Fluke pulled back the curtain midway through her interview on “The View” when she suggested that viewers head over to the website of Media Matters for America. As The Daily Caller recently exposed, there’s been a high level of coordination between the White House and Media Matters for America, so of course it’s no shock that Ms. Fluke chose MMFA as her leftist propaganda arm of choice.

One of Media Matters’s main jobs has been shutting down right wing media voices were ever possible. They want a world with no, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh or any dissenting voices in the run-up to the 2012 election. The level of coordination should concern anyone because it’s the president using his position and bully pulpit as a way to quell criticism by utilizing the Institutional Left’s infrastructure.

    She’s a liar, a fraud, and a political operative.

Don’t Worry, Folks: Advertisers Who Don’t Want Your Business Will Be Replaced

RUSH: The left, folks — the media — are giddy that some advertisers have said they’re leaving the program. And I’m sorry to see ’em go. They have profited handsomely from you. These advertisers who have split the scene have done very well due to their access to you, my audience, from this program. To offer their products and services to you through this venue is the best opportunity that they have ever had to advertise their wares. Now they’ve chosen to deny themselves that access, and that’s a business decision, and it’s theirs alone to make.

They’ve decided they don’t want you or your business anymore.

    So be it.

For me, this program is always about you. You talk to anybody that knows me who asks me about this program, and I always say, “It’s all for the audience,” because if you’re not there, all the rest of this is academic. This show is about you. It’s not about the advertisers. I knew the political inclinations of these people. They didn’t care when they were profiting — and I didn’t, either. Everybody’s able to put these things aside for the sake of mutual beneficial business activity. No radio broadcast will succeed by putting business ahead of the needs of its loyal audience, and that audience is you. My success has come from you. My focus has always been, and always will be, on you.

    And I’m still not through.

  • Umm… Steny… Any lawyer should know that speaking the TRUTH is an absolute defense against libel or slander… no matter how hurtful that truth might be or injurious to the character of the subject of the statement!

Slander and libel are DEFINED as an UNTRUE statement, maliciously published with intent to do harm. If the statement is based in truth – there is no slander or libel.

Since the behavior the Georgetown Fluke exhibited and CLAIMS is consistent with the generally accepted definition of the term slut – despite the term being a vulgarism – the statement is based in fact and is therefore NOT slanderous. I rest my case, Steny… you have yet to MAKE yours!

As wanumba in #55 points out, everyone should be concerned that a progressive-led company has their confidential data. Progressives have absolutely no ethics and would happily root around in your confidential files to find politically embarrassing information–then release it to the lapdog press in order to destroy anyone demonstrating defiance to progressive “policies”. This will always be true–progressives believe that ethics are relative and situational.

I am the member of a large extended family who does tech support. I have recommended Carbonite in the past–no longer.

For those who want to know, I have setup a 2TB WD USB drive as a RAID 1 (1 TB mirrors the other TB) as well as a 500GB drive which is a external snapshot/boot replacement drive. I backup to the WD every day all incremental changes and make a snapshot of my laptop HD once a month or so. That has protected me very well for years now for more data than I can afford to store with Carbonite. For data I want to really ensure is never lost, I use Dropbox as a backup after compressing and encrypting it.

Seems there are a lot of loose people running around. I mean the cost $1,000 dollars a year would mean there is Gold in those Pills. I can’t wait until Fluke is a word we can forget.

But Pelosi and HHS aren’t going to let us forget it. Does Fluke read the directions on those pills before taking them, Pelosi?

I’ll Stay Out of Your Bedroom, Ms. Fluke, if You Stay Out of My Wallet

I’ve already explained that the Obamacare contraception-coverage controversy is about economics and religious liberty, not birth control.

But now that the debate has been transformed by the remarks of a Georgetown student, this cartoon seems rather appropriate.

The bubble quotes in the cartoon do a good job of capturing the statist mentality. They want me to leave them alone (which I’m happy to do), but they won’t leave me alone.

So here’s a deal for Ms. Fluke and her fellow travelers. I’ll agree to you doing whatever you want behind closed doors (heck, you can even leave the doors open, as far as I’m concerned). But, in exchange, I want you to leave me alone, which means I don’t want to pay higher taxes OR higher insurance premiums to subsidize your birth control.

    Fluke Distraction

Thus this dishonest distraction was already well under way by Wednesday, when Rush Limbaugh famously joked: “What does it say about . . . Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception.”

On Saturday, Limbaugh acknowledged his mistake: “My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.” No doubt it’s satisfying to the left to have brought Limbaugh to heel, something that isn’t easy to do. And it’s true that Limbaugh’s ill-chosen words magnified the Fluke distraction.

But whereas distractions are evanescent, the religious-liberty issue hasn’t gone away. In fact, on Thursday the Democrat-controlled Senate passed up an opportunity to blunt the issue, rejecting by a 51-48 procedural vote, with only four senators crossing party lines, an amendment that would have allowed conscience exemptions to the ObamaCare contraception mandate. At least four vulnerable Democratic senators seeking re-election–Bill Nelson of Florida, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Jon Tester of Montana and Sherrod Brown of Ohio–are now on record against religious liberty.

The triumphalist liberal view is that this is a losing issue for Republicans anyway, because Americans love contraception. In a column, Democratic pollster Doug Schoen asserts that “the issue of access to contraception will only further help the Democrats with moderate and independent women in swing states”:

Most Americans do not see the issue of whether or not women should be able to get free access to contraceptive care not [sic] in the context of protecting the constitutional right to religious freedom, but rather as an assault on women’s rights by a Republican Party that is seeking to deny women fundamental access to health care.

  • Patty

Obama needs to worried about his Health care plan. Supreme Court has it on the docket in 3 weeks.

Oh, really say a prayer, and I am not meaning to hurt anyone’s feelings, say a prayer.

  • Redwine

Fluke would be extremely stupid to sue Rush. She’s got a lot of sticky crap all over her.
    Like this, for instance…
    She’s not only a media whore, she’s also a keffiyeh-wearing Occupy whore:

  • SeniorD

How soon will the Demodonks retreat from Ms. Fluke? They must know by now they stepped into a hornet’s nest of intelligent backlash.

Oh, wait a minute, we’re talking about Demodonks – having nothing but emotion-thought, they can’t recognize intelligent-thought.

For those who really like an online backup solution, check out this company–SOS Online Backup:

PC Mag gives it a better review than Carbonite anyway. So the Carbonite CEO made an even stupider decision than I thought–many people will be searching for an alternative. Since it may well be a better product–and certainly is not contaminated by the suspicion that the progressive leadership of Carbonite would likely violate my confidentiality if it were politically desirable.

“I believe that democracy demands that the religiously motivated
translate their concerns into universal values,” Obama said. “Social
justice and national security are both universal values, values that
may originate for some in their religious beliefs, but are shared by
    us all.”

    ~ Barack Hussein Obama

”I am certain nothing has done so much to destroy the juridical
safeguards of individual freedom as the striving after the mirage
    of social justice.”

“I have come to feel strongly that the greatest service I can still render to
my fellow men would be that I could make the speakers and writers among
them thoroughly ashamed ever again to employ the term ’social justice’.”

How can I sum this up in one word.. hmm.. SLUT!

  • wanumba

Nancy Pelosi wants to Fluke Rush Limbaugh.

  • i like to remind people that’s nancy “the catholic” pelosi up there. obviously her party trumps her religion. its just like the old soviet union.

  • The people who Steny “Knucklepunch” Hoyer ASSAULTED during the 2010 election season should sue Steny Hoyer and Steny should STFU.
Maybe Sarah Palin, Pamela Geller, Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingram, Ann Coulter and everyone else who has been called far worse things than “slut” and have even had people publicly call for their murders should be suing some leftists.
Who cares if that whore Fluke is called a “slut”?

  • Mad Hatter

Like Mark Levin said, if she does file a lawsuit, it will open up discovery on Sandra Fluke. All of her background will be put out there for all to see.

In the words of Dirty Harry, “go ahead, make my day.”

  • OK, so that means Sarah Palin ought to sue the pants off Cloris Leachman, David Letterman, Ed Shultz and Bill Mayer (to name a few). They have all called Sarah Palin a slut or a whore or a twat.

  • Comanche Joe

I hope this Fluke does sue! When she does, every single one of her relationships is fair game based on evidentiary discovery. If she thinks being called a names is bad wait until the lawyers get a hold of her.

Perhaps … Except … you don’t doubt for a nanosecond the the headline would be “Rush calls young, orphaned student Sandra Fluke” .. a bad name.

But we haven’t sent that. Did The View (My brain just cannot watch even a clip of it – I need a proxy viewer) say something like, “How’s your mother taking all this?”

I mean, grizzly moms would be jumping up and down defending her daughters. It’s sorta like the Sherlock Holmes mystery, everything was normal as every single night — except the dog wasn’t barking.

  • squeaky

“…need a proxy viewer) say something like, “How’s your mother taking all this?”” i don’t know about her mother [never watch the view even under duress] but her 76 year old grand ma must be thrilled. saxton, pa had a population of 800 odd in 2000. she’s probably an eye roller.,_Pennsylvania

  • And will this demand by Hoyer be done just like when Rush used the same kind of language the left uses when they attack us, in that the left will attack whoever sues one of them, i.e. Bill Maher, Pelosi, etc.? The attack anyone who uses their tactics the use against us like it’s okay for them but not okay for us to use what they use on us, back on them. Sure, they don’t like being attacked or called names, but they act like it’s such a bad thing when we do it, but the left always act like they are the only one’s who have permission from society when they attack us or call us names. This IS a double standard. So, the only thing we can do whenever we see this double standard take place, or we see one of their own, i.e. Fluke, the slut, come out of the woodwork and appear on TV or make statements in the newspaper, or other printed materials to back up the left when they want the public to believe one of their current lies they are trying to push down all of our throats, is nothing! I hate it, I want to do something about it that pays them back for doing such things that hurt, but if I do I have to know that the left is going to turn their attack machine on me.

    #63 BG,
Is right when he talks about sueing them so many times that they have to give up in having to deal with them all. This is how the left has gotten rid of many a good conservative is to build up so many law suets that it becomes so expensive in having to deal with all of them that the person they are after just gives up and does what they want him to do. The most recent person to have to deal with this onslaught of lawsuets was Sarah Palin. She had suets coming from not only big liberal organizations, but from liberal representatives in her own state were bringing suets against her. She finally had to resign from being the governor of Alaska in order to stop the law suets, and then she was able to deal with the rest through other legal means. Tom Delay, Congressional Whip of the majority party, was who I was trying to think of who was a good conservative that Pelosi got rid of because as soon as Bush won his second term, Tom was going to be the man who would force Bush to obey the Constitution and get rid of many Democrat laws. She attacked him on campaign violations that said he was paying his family members in order to hide campaign contributions, or redirecting campaign contributions that he was trying to cover up getting. That was the bottom line. But what ended up happening was he had to resign from his Congressional seat and leave the Congress in order to have enough time to deal with all the law suets that were being brought against him accusing him of all kinds of things.

It took him six years of court battles to finally win. He was found INNOCENT of every count against him. INNOCENT!!!! In other words all the charges against him were found without proof of wrong doing. But see, the left doesn’t have to have proof or evidence because the left doesn’t operate on facts, they operate on feelings. Pelosi just “felt” like he may have been doing something wrong.

You know it’s the leftist judges we need to get rid of because it was the judge who would have to look at the charges and defence evidence and he would be the one who decides to hear the case. These leftist judges are the one’s we need to be able to put pressure on with threats of empeachment if they take the case. And put the kind of pressure on them the left can’t put on him. SEE PEOPLE, WE ARE WHERE THE POWER LIES, NOT WITH THE LEFT! We just need to take that first step of faith that God is going to bless our efforts to defeat evil. He usually does.

Rus L. calls Fluke a slut. Rush L. apologizes. Bill M. calls Sarah Palin the cword and other slurs repeatedly. Bill M. donates $1million to Obama’s PAC. President Obama calls Fluke and says her parents should be proud.

#81 exactly. Go for it, the discovery process alone will drive popcorn futures through the roof.

LOL! And in his defense, he could rightfully say, with precedent set by none other than President William Jefferson Clinton:

“I guess it all depends on what the meaning of the word “IS” is.”

    And he’d win the case.

  • Taqiyyotomist

(I mean, he’d win the case — in a logical world that has not abandoned reason altogether)

You didn’t think I meant here and now did you?

Does Any one know whether the DemocRATs did something illegal by “staging” a press conference on taxpayer-supported Government Property to resemble a real Congressional Hearing which it was not. . .

    Looks like fraud. . .

I hope a legal expert or Conservative Congressman investigates this. . .

This was a staged event. . . made to look like a real congressional meeting hosted in and on taxpayer supported Government Property for a private business matter. . .

  • mg4us

Oh and by the way, Fluke’s credentials were listed as a fluke. .she is not 23 but 30. . .and has worked on women’s reproduction issues before. .

Who has been supporting her. .where has she been getting paid from?

This is part of a War on Catholic institutions and Catholic teachings. . .

  • TeeDub

Sue him for what? Slander? He called her a slut and she fits the definition. Case dismissed.

If it were up to people like Hoyer, you should be sued for just being a Republican or conservative.

  • m6d8

I’d hate to be Ms. Fluke when Rush’s attorney starts the discovery phase of the lawsuit. Hee, hee.

  • HeavyDee

Too bad ol’ Slick Willie lost his law license, so I’m sure he’d take her case “Pro-boner” of course.

The Washington Times partnered up with pollster John Zogby to see who’s winning the contraception political battle. The results aren’t good for Republicans.

While a majority of Republicans side with their party’s leaders, a striking 30 percent agree with [President Barack] Obama’s stance that his contraception mandate is about women’s health.

Zogby offered this expertly worded bit of advice to the GOP: “Drop this baby right now. Drop it. This is not a winner.”

  • Patty

Okay. Are we going to pay for contraceptives in the Catholic Church. HIGHLY DOUBTFUL.

Yaz has some lawsuits, other contraceptives are very harmful to a woman. Stroke is for one.

But this issue is about Obama mandate and HHS and all that has transpired since the Komen thing.

Obama, Zogby whatever, this issue in highly a hot button issue but no for what you may think. It is part of the Alinsky rules for radicals. It is purposely trying to eliminate the Population and one in particular is within the Catholic Church. HHS head admits that fewer babies less money Government pays for health care. Government, yes, but it is you and me.

And this thing has become an explosive Campaign issue and Orchestrated by the Obama administration. They may not have known what would happen but now they are playing this thing to destroy Rush and even the Catholic organization who aren’t willing in any circumstance to comply.

“Zogby offered this expertly worded bit of advice to the GOP: “Drop this baby right now. Drop it. This is not a winner.”

I’m telling you, Patty, this advice from Zogby is a bunch of crap. People are madder’n hell about Obama throwing the First Amendment into the crapper and stabbing the Bishops in the back. As a result, he’s going down down down down down.
