Rush Limbaugh said today that Breitbart was a “bulldog” for the cause and gave some personal memories about his encounters with Andrew.
Via Breitbart TV:
From the Limbaugh website:
RUSH: A few words about Andrew Breitbart. I’ve known Andrew Breitbart since the 1990s when he was working with Matt Drudge to help produce that page, the Drudge Report, each and every day. He grew up in West Los Angeles, surrounded by liberals, father-in-law Orson Bean, the comedian. Sometime during the 1990s, the early nineties, Breitbart had an awakening. He was constantly questioning what was all around him, which was really extreme liberalism, and he became, as many of you in the audience know, a bulldog. He literally was an indefatigable bulldog for the conservative cause. He did things that nobody else has done on the Internet where there are a lot of players. He accomplished quite a lot, much more than a lot of people.
A lot of people get into the business for a number of reasons. His was to effect change. He really sought to effect change above everything else. A lot of people get into it to make a name for themselves. He was about that, too, of course, but he really was about effecting change, and he did on numerous occasions with ACORN, Anthony Weiner, Shirley Sherrod, just to name three of his most famous examples. But he was a bulldog. He was walking outside his home in his neighborhood in Brentwood just after midnight, keeled over. People had talked to him two hours prior, he sounded perfectly fine. They’re shocked. Family’s stunned. I mean there were some reports of health problems, but there was no indication of this.
So everybody’s in a state of shock today trying to make sense of it. And when something like this happens to somebody a lot of people know at a very young age, you could say he died too young by half, he’s 43, life expectancy in the early eighties. You’re reminded once again, it’s become a cliche but it’s worth mentioning. You only get one life, and most people don’t get as much out of it as they could. Human nature. And one of the reasons that most people don’t get the most out of their lives that they can is they can’t stop thinking about themselves. And the more you think about yourself the more depressed you’re gonna get. Human nature. The more you think about yourself, the less you are aware of things going on outside your sphere. It’s hard not to do that, and Breitbart did that.

Me too. We needed him.
So sad.

Jim, thank you for devoting threads to this sad occasion.
AB was the best investigative reporter in my lifetime.
I’ve not cried, for I just lost a great friend, and the wife of my best friend yesterday to cancer.
I didn’t know AB, though I wish I could have met him, but I wish you all could have meet Judy.
After yesterday, reading this A.M. news wasn’t a punch to the gut as much a cause for shaking my head and saying “yep”, ratcheting up my cynicism, yet another notch.
Maranatha, Come, Lord Jesus.

A giant passed this way.

Rush captured the essential Breitbart. He will be sorely missed, especially at this critical time in America.

Dan Riehl:
What Andrew understood and embraced as a conservative media activist was that, when his name was in the headlines, it was because he was battling for what he most believed in. He also knew that his enemies, the headline writers in many ways, were engaged – and he was fighting. Andrew, like so many of us, lived for that fight. He understood how necessary it was for the right to engage it.
It’s significant that Andrew picked his battlefields as a brave and fearless man. When you are fighting what many conservatives believe to be a biased media in their headlines, you are fighting them on their turf, not retreating, surrendering, or simply musing off in your own little protected, right-leaning corner of the media world.
Andrew Breitbart gave his opponents every advantage by engaging them as he did. And he often beat them. That is no small feat, anymore than Andrew was a small man. He was big, just as many of his websites, for which I currently write, are so appropriately named.
Blogger Peter Ingemi sent an email out with a link to his own essay. The email was entitled, “I am Andrew Breitbart right now and so are all of you.” As a blogger myself, long before I came to know, or work for Andrew, it’s important for me that all of my right-leaning blogging colleagues know precisely how true a statement that is.

There are a number of folks who think Breitbart’s death suspicious. .
Remember only Andrew Breitbart really got under Obama’s skin (and all of the left). . .
Breitbart exposed Acorn and the fraud it was even though Obama used to be its lawyer. . .
Breitbart challenged the Congressional Black Caucus on supposed allegations of racial slurs. . .
Breitbart exposed Weiner a friend of Clinton (recall Weiner’s wife Huma is Hillary’s aid). . .
And now Breitbart touted at CPAC that he had tapes to expose Obama from his school year and be a real shocker. . possibly something to take down Obama
And then Andrew Breitbart dies early in the morning on the day Sheriff Joe Arpio is disclosing what he has discovered regarding Obama’s birth certificate. . .so that Breitbart’s death is the top news. . .

Strange. .very strange
Does the name Vince Foster ring a bell???
Breitbart died a la Vince Foster (remember Hiiary care cover-up) though they claim Foster was a suicide in a park yet no one saw it. . .
Be afraid. . . be very afraid. . .this regime and the left will stop at nothing to take down our Constitution and our liberties. . .
Thank God for people like Andrew Breitbart and the commitment and sacrifice they’ve made to defend the cause. . .May he rest in peace and his wife and children be comforted!!

Ask his wife: “who is Rush’s favorite Person, she said, “Reagan” and off went Breitbart and send Rush a painting of Reagan. And year after year a different picture of the American Flag.
Breitbart will be terribly missed and I pray that his work and those who work at his websites continue his wonderful works.
Gary commented:
Rush is too modest and polite to mention this on the show, but Breitbart actually called in to the show one time and he was talking about how he used to be a liberal and listening to Rush started him thinking about Conservatism.
I’ve been looking for a link, but so far nothing.

The best tribute we can pay to Andrew Breitbart is to continue screaming at each other over the internet.

read much more @ link.
RUSH: Oh, yeah, I’m gonna deal with this. I’m gonna deal with it. I think this is hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. The left has been thrown into an outright conniption fit! This is “phony soldiers” times ten. Oh, ten times worse than phony soldiers. The reaction that they are having to what I said yesterday about Susan Fluke — or Sandra Fluke, whatever her name is — the Georgetown student who went before a congressional committee and said she’s having so much sex, she’s going broke buying contraceptives and wants us to buy them. I said, “Well, what would you call someone who wants us to pay for her to have sex? What would you call that woman? You’d call ‘em a slut, a prostitute or whatever.”
I love, Rush

Rush hit the nail directly on the head. When does this tramp have time to study if she’s having that much sex?
Frankly, considering all the little bugs transmitted by sex running around these days, if I was a guy, I’d stay away from her.

I may be a lone conspiracist; Andrews death doesn’t sit right with me. Something smells really bad!
I really hope that I’m wrong.
As soon as Arpaio took on the teaparty’s request to investigate Obamas birth/certificate/backstory – he get accused of discrimination against latinos by none other than Holder/Perez, although he received a clean bill of health just a couple of months earlier.
Andrew stated that he has tapes regarding Obamas college days and, the intent to release them showing what a radical he is such as race warfare and class warfare and, voila – he passes awaay at a young age of 43.
Remember also, when during the 2008 campaign the passport breach came up, a young man named Harris co-operated with the FBI and, voila he was found dead with a bullet in his head in his car.
Is all of this a coincidence? I want to be wrong so badly; I just can’t shake off what I’m feeling.

You really make it appear so easy with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be actually one thing that I believe I’d by no means understand. It seems too complex and extremely huge for me. I am having a look forward in your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
