Parents of Murdered British Students Slam Obama For Lack of Compassion

You may have missed this.
The liberal media has been too busy covering the Trayvon Martin shooting to pay attention to the high profile Florida murder trial that was going on across town this week. Two British students who were gunned down in Miami by black youth while on vacation last year. Today the killer was sentenced to life in prison.

Earlier this week the victims’ friends confronted the ‘cowardly’ killer prior to his sentencing.

Today the parents of two British students murdered in Florida slammed President Barack Obama for his lack of compassion over their sons’ deaths.
The Telegraph reported:

His failure to respond to three letters sent to the White House was because there was no “political value” and not worthy of a few minutes of his time.

They spoke out as teenager Shawn Tyson began a life sentence after being found guilty of the murder of James Cooper and James Kouzaris last April.

The 17 year old, who shot the men as they begged for their lives, will die in prison.

His conviction of first degree murder carries an mandatory life sentence without the chance of parole.

The powerfully built teen even looked bored as emotional DVD presentations about the dead men prepared by their grieving parents were shown in court.

Tyson, who has the word ‘Savage’ tattooed across his chest didn’t show a flicker of emotion, slumping in his seat as he was forced to watch a montage of photos showing the victims from early childhood to young men.

Two close friends of the dead men who had attended the eight day trial in Sarasota, Florida. had also delivered highly emotional impact statements to the court prior to the sentencing.

Paul Davies and Joe Hallett spoke of the “living hell” they and others who knew the men had suffered since the murders.

During the eight day trial they had been shown graphic crime scene and autopsy photos shown in court.

Later speaking after Tyson was jailed Davies and Hallett lashed out at Mr Obama saying the deaths of their friends was “not worthy of ten minutes of his time.”

Davies said: “We would like to publicly express our dissatisfaction at the lack of any public or private message of support or condolence from any American governing body or indeed, President Obama himself.
Mr Kouzaris has written to President Obama on three separate occasions and is yet to even receive the courtesy of a reply.

“It would perhaps appear that Mr Obama sees no political value in facilitating such a request or that the lives of two British tourists are not worthy of ten minutes of his time.”
The rebuke follows Mr Obama’s personal intervention into the shooting in Florida of a young black teenager by a white neighbourhood watch captain.

The parents were absolutely correct. There was no political value to Obama to mention this ghastly crime – So he didn’t.

We should remember that foreign relations are often cited as being solely under the Presidential authority. The President offering condolences to the family of British nationals murdered while visiting the United States is well within the duties and responsibilities of the President’s day job.

Involving himself in strictly State criminal matters, not so much.

Horrific. These young men came to America for a carefree vacation and end up the victims of this souless monster. So sorry, my condolences.

Hey Brits… remember the bust of Churchill that Obama threw out of the White House and sent back to you postage due? Remember your military codes Obama gave to the Russians? Yea, there’s the message to you colonialist Kenyan oppressing bastards.

I rather doubt he gives a damn about a few of your citizens dying at the hands of a post-African colonial slave.

There was a brutal murder in Bethesda last November in the Lululemon store, The black Brittany Norwood brutally murdered her co-worker white jayna Murray. Norwood used anything she could find in the store, a hammer, wrench, knofe over a dozen different objects to savage her with at least 330 wounds, she was alive for ALL. Now do you suppose that Obama reached out to those parents?

A communist with a lack of compassion? No, say it isn’t so!

Likewise there hasn’t been much media coverage nor 0bama interjections about the recent murder of an MSU student, or the killing of 10 people and wounding of 40 in one Chicago weekend.

It is important to remember that Obama chooses who he likes and what he wishes on America.

It is great to see a person feel compassion but it is another thing for a president to choose one person who he does not know and just sees in a picture of a child 5 years ago.

Yes, aren’t kids cute in pictures. And haven’t we said one time or another “they look like my kid” but we say this among friends. We are not having to run a nation and with priorities insurmountable serious work as to comment on a child’s looks. Again, Obama has jumped the gun. And Dr. Alveda King is calling for calm. She is a leader among men.

Where is Obama’s LEADERSHIP, common sense to have the sense not to weigh in on one thing and then with no consideration for addressing the many killings of innocent kids all over this nation. And believing that there is a real problem with our education system and one parent leaving the family unit. Like in the case of Trayvon Martin. It takes a death of a child for the two to come together.

A death of a child is horrible, we lost two in our family and I can tell you first hand it is devastating and can make us come together in ways you can not imagine. I and my family didn’t need a comment from Obama nor were we looking for one. We needed our loving God to get us through.

I knew that sooner or later there would be families that would look upon Obama’s comments with sadness and he never gave that a thought one. His political image and votes in the black community seem to be more important.

The only thing that Obama has worked on is Obama care and Stimulus and both were complete failures. Since Obama has so many failed policies, which he chooses to ignore, he is now, once again pitting Americans against Americans.

Obama was lacking some good parenting himself. Coming from a split home and being raised by a grandmother who was scared of the black man. Obama has so many insecurities and now his immaturity is coming to light.

Maybe Obama will send them an i-Pod with one of his 2004 DNC speech on it. That’s a proven foreign relations favorite with the Brits.

Have the media and liberals focus on the murder of a worthless human POS = Simple tactic to divert from SC hearings on obamacare and oh,
    High gas prices
    Sh*ty economy

“When this young kid gets shot in Sanford, Fla., the reaction is ‘If I had a son, he would look like me’?” Limbaugh said. “Sorry, the last thing that ever occurs to me when somebody gets shot, when somebody’s murdered, the last thing is that they look like me. It doesn’t compute. But, the left they see things like this purely as surface matters.”

He added, “Here you have the death of an American citizen that seems a political opportunity. There’s no humanity in that. There’s no compassion in that. It’s just … very sad.”

Limbaugh also hit Obama for “not saying anything when a group of citizens issues a bounty for another citizen,” referring to the $10,000 bounty that the New Black Panther Party has offered for the capture of Zimmerman.

“Where is the president on this?” he said. “I would think that somebody in authority would try to do something to calm this down. I know the president’s in North Korea, but he could still say something about this and when he doesn’t say anything about it, we’re left to question — why?”

I have asked myself this every day. It is evidently clear that Obama is just a political Machine. Never thinking of what the other guy thinks. It may be ego or something more devious.

We all have opinions but this one case? It gives Obama another opportunity to divide the Blacks for the Whites. He is post racial?

Oh, I wish there was a hot mic hidden in the White House. Can you even imagine?

This family has a lot of reasons to be infuriated by this double standard. And was reading about this in the UK press, not the US press….further proof of US media self-censorship.
Did the Governor of FLorida give any condolences and encouragements?

It IS a tourist state, exactly this sort of thing would have devastated the Kenya tourism industry for a couple of high tourism seasons….something Kenya could ill afford after Obama’s foreign meddling with buddy/cousin Odinga who sent his tribal Luos out to murderously rampage after the presidential election so Odinga could force a power-share.
Hope OBama wasn’t studying how it’s done.

I’m glad this POS will die in prison, hopefully soon to save tax dollars.
