#Occupy Denver Arsonist Skips Sentencing – Flees City

#Occupy arsonist skips sentencing.

Michael Clapper, right, lights a pizza box on fire with an unidentified protester, left, at the Occupy Denver camp at Civic Center Park in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011. Police evicted about 40 protesters after repeated attempts to get them to remove their belongings from the sidewalk along Broadway. Clapper has been charged with fourth-degree arson. Clapper torched the park structures with the pizza box.

A member of the democrat front group #Occupy Denver skipped his sentencing for setting a fire at the Colorado state Capitol.
CBS Local reported:

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of starting a fire during an Occupy Denver protest.

The fire happened in December near the state Capitol. Michael Clapper already pleaded guilty to arson but didn’t show up for his sentencing on Friday.

Clapper told CBS4 in a jailhouse interview he didn’t want to get in anymore trouble.

Prosecutors say he may now lose favorable sentencing conditions. He was likely going to get a short jail time and probation.
