Obama Administration: We’re Trying to Make It “As Hard As Possible” on Israel to Decide to Strike Iran

It’s as if Israel is our enemy…
The Obama Administration admitted today that they were trying to make it as hard as possible tor Israel to decide to strike Iran.
The Washington Post reported:

President Obama plans to caution Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week against attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities in the coming months, urging patience while international economic sanctions take full effect.

Obama’s meeting with Netanyahu on Monday begins a critical week in his effort to contain Iran’s nuclear ambitions and preserve the trust of the United States’ closest Middle East ally. Israeli leaders have made clear they think time is running out to stop Iran from achieving the ability to build a nuclear weapon.

But U.S. officials are not convinced, and many within the administration fear that a preemptive Israeli attack could set off a regional war. This disagreement between the United States and Israel will color the meeting between two leaders often at odds over how best to navigate the changing Middle East.

The White House talks are likely to focus on the effectiveness of sanctions and the dangers of an Israeli attack, administration officials say. Obama will seek to avoid discussing the details of how one might unfold out of concern that Israel might interpret such planning as a veiled endorsement of military action.

“We’re trying to make the decision to attack as hard as possible for Israel,” said an administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

“We’re trying to make the decision to attack as hard as possible for Israel,”

. . . because fighting the neighborhood bully is always so much easier when your best friends hold your hands behind your back.

I want Israel to attack, and let the bombastic Iranians feel the pain of it. But first, bring our boys home so they aren’t stuck in the middle of an escalating situation. Although, all those Iranians getting a free ride outside the gates of Bagram Air Field might just go home if their country actually feels Israel’s wrath.

Obama is becoming smaller and smaller on the world stage. He’s marginalized his own administration with the world and along with it he’s done the same to our once great nation. What a loser cruiser he’s heading up. (Running over good people along the way).

So you think it makes good geopolitical sense for Israel to attack Iran because some Iranians had a banner on a bus 6 yrs ago?

There are Americans that want Iran wiped off the face of the world. Would Iran be justified in attacking the US?

“It’s as if Israel is our enemy…”

Noooo, it’s a President of the United States looking out for the interests of the United States.

If America does not throw off the tightening leash of Obama, its people will soon enough be numbered among the cursed.

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The operative phrase, “and in thee [Israel] shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

As Netayahu meets with Obama there should be some accidental military explosion at an Iranian military complex……Obama IS the demonic incarnation of Belial…” Belial is also mentioned in the Fragments of a Zadokite Work (which is also known as The Damascus Document (CD)), which states that during the eschatological age, “Belial shall be let loose against Israel, as God spoke through Isaiah the prophet.”

Does he ever tell Iran not to attack Israel?

  • myohmy

Netanyahu should either wait or continue covert missions against Iran. If they strike today, Obama will hanged them to dry. Obama does not want to offend his progressive friends. He still need to collect the money from his fundraising.

The ultimate question is, will Obama order armed US warplanes to intercept Israeli Air Strikes on Iran?

#5 – the State of Israel is not the ‘Israel’ God is referring to in the Bible. Israel is made up of 12 Tribes of which Judah is but one tribe.

It is easy for Obama to caution the State of Israel to not attack Iran when Iran’s missiles can easily reach them. Yes, it will probably set off a large war in the region and outside the region for that matter, but is Iran obtaining the nuke the best outcome for the world. Do sanctions ever work with the nutjobs. Iran is intent on getting nuclear capabilities, and there isn’t anything that is going to stop them except brute force.

I don’t understand this sanctions sh**. Seriously I don’t. Here’s the anology. You tell your 3 year old that until they stop playing with matches they can not have dessert. Meanwhile you leave them in their room unsupervised, with the matches and wait patiently for them to want dessert?

Our aircraft carriers are NOT in the persian gulf to keep the straight of Hormuz open….They are there to protect Iran from an Israeli air strike.

Netanyahu is one gigantic disappointing king sized p*ssy.

Yes, the Iran situation probably can’t wait, but why the hell is Netanyahu still showing up in Washington as if he is dealing with just another US President? It’s outrageous judgement and conduct by Netanyahu, bordering on disgraceful.

He should have said, long ago (not publicly, but privately–and he HASN’T), that he’s seen enough out of Obama. He should have said he can’t deal with this President, that this President has a very clear (and darkly driven) agenda in the Middle East, and it is an agenda that does not support Isreali interests.

This anti-semite (and get real, it is so far past the time to call a spade a spade it’s not funny), anti-American is nothing but a temporary steward. One day, he’ll be gone. Hopefully in January, but 2016 at the latest. Netanyahu has every right (and obligation) to say Israel is going to sit out this presidency and wait for a successor before discussing ANY (other than Iran, which cannot wait) Middle East policies or changes that affect Isreal.

Just sit it out. That cess pool of constant war has be bubbling and boiling for two millenia. There’s no urgency or need for Netanyahu to be pushed around by this temporary Muslim (again, let’s cut the crap) sh*t stain smelling up the Oval Office.

Why Netanyahu feels the need to pretend it’s business as usual, and he’s just dealing with a typical President really is disgraceful.

    Let’s see…
    Israel – existential threat
    Comrade Barry – political survival

    I’ll go with Israel.

#14 – donh – Unfortunately, this could very well be the truth. Obama is a traitor to America. He isn’t eligible to hold Office, and he took Office knowing this full well. Everything he has done has been to the detriment of the U.S. and all her allies. Obama has supported every terrorist regime in the Middle East, and he didn’t do anything to help the Iranian people in their short lived violent uprising when he first took Office. He could very well command the U.S. military to intervene if and when the State of Israel gives Iran a smack down. The U.S. has a muslim in office. The man stands up and exclaims he is a Christian on one side of his mouth and supports abortion and infanticide on the other side. Will the U.S. military stand down if given such orders or will they follow the orders?

  • Joanne

Bubba – maybe Netanyahu has his reasons. Perhaps he wants to personally gauge if Obama is going to militarily stop the State of Israel from stopping attacking Iran or put sanctions on the State of Israel or not supply them with armament if they attack or stop any monies or whatever. Sometimes you have to exhaust every avenue before leading the charge. I’m sure Netanyahu knows what kind of fire storm this will set off in the Middle East on the one hand and what not doing anything will mean on the other hand. I believe his greatest allies will be found in Europe, since they too will be the closest to the events that follow.

According to His own words, Obama is the best thing that ever happened to Israel.

As for Iran, for the past 20 years they didn’t change the rhetoric but now, thanks to the UN, they’ll have some nuclear missiles to reinforce their point.
