Netanyahu Warns That Israel Cannot Wait Much Longer to Stop Iran

Posted By: Gateways_Niece

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu speaks to AIPAC against Iran’s nuclear program. Netanyahu states that security of Israel is not something he is wanting to gamble.

Story By:

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu warned against allowing Iran to develop nuclear weapons in his speech to the AIPAC Convention in Washington Monday night local time, vowing to never let Israel live under the shadow of annihilation or gamble with its security.

Addressing concerns about the cost a military strike aimed at stopping its nuclear program, Netanyahu said: “It’s about time we start talking about the cost of not stopping Iran.”

A nuclear-armed Iran, he warned, would provide a nuclear umbrella for terrorists and thereby increase global terrorism, could choke off the world’s oil supply, and could threaten the world with nuclear terrorism.

Iran, the prime minister asserted, must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.

Israel, he explained, has been waiting for years to see if diplomacy and sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program would work, but said they have not been successful.

He warned that Israel cannot wait much longer.

As the prime minister of Israel, “I will never let my people live in the shadow of annihilation.”

“In every generation, there are those who wish to destroy the Jewish people. In this generation, we are blessed to live in a time when there is a Jewish state capable of defending the Jewish people,” he concluded, thanking AIPAC and the United States for supporting Israel and its right to self-defense.

The speech followed a meeting with US President Barack Obama at the White House earlier Monday, after which he said Israel’s position on Iran was “accepted with understanding” by the American administration.

According to Obama, you need wait just long enough to be incinerated. Don’t worry, though, diplomacy and sanctions will likely work just fine afterwards.

    I so admire this man.

Hey, Jim. Me thinks I just saw an ad for Carbonite on this site. What’s with that?

  • Go, Israel.

  • Gloria Gilson

Bibi, you/Israel delay at your peril.

And Obama knows that. Which is why he’s trying to get you to run out the clock. Once Iran was the tech stuff for the N-bomb, Obama will have achieved his secret muslim goals.

    Don’t delay,

  • Patty

If Obama only had 1/2 Netanyahu’s goohanas. We would be a triple threat to our enemies in the Middle East.

And his speaking about “Commentators” that was for Obama. Neyanyahu will strike and Obama won’t make one bit of a difference.

And did you see those body guards? Wow!

Obama: Israelis suspicious of me because my middle name is Hussein

    Yes, Obama said this.

  • Occidental Tourist

I believe Israel loses any argument in the World Court about this— there’s no getting away from the fact Israel has nuclear weapons, and so it, nor the US, has the right to disarm a sovereign nation.

Having said that, i would feel better if the Iranians weren’t thusly armed. Of course, I would also like for Israel to be similarly disarmed.

I know, I know, Iran keeps threatening Israel… but the former won’t do anything to the latter, for the latter, wait for it, has nuclear weapons. It appears that instead of a stalemate, we would prefer to have things squarely in favor of Israel.

I would hope they might postpone World War III, for they do, as do the Iranians, love their children.

  • Occidental Tourist

Sorry, meant to say that neither has the right to disarm a sovereign nation…

I am hoping they will attack on Purim, which is on Wednesday. The symbolism would be awesome – defeating Ahmadinejad, a latter day Haman, another Persian genocidal tyrant who wants to destroy the Jews.

Obama: ‘Loose talk of war’ plays into Iran’s hands, says he won’t let Iran get nuke weapon

This is what Netanyahu was talking about. And if you believe Obama well, let’s just say, Netanyahu will not wait until after elections and so it goes, Obama believes he will win.

Obama is thinking of Elections over the Dangers of Iran and its nuclear capabilities?

We could only hope for a President like Netanyahu. He actually cares about his people. And he only had notes. There was no Teleprompter. He was sincere and didn’t read something someone else wrote. Obama is all talk, charismatic? That is what some Americans fell for and you see what it got us.

    ‘ Carbonite: …contact info here…

…DO YOU GET the picture? The American Left — whether it pops up in the form of Media Matters, Color of Change,, Texans for Truth or other groups — is determined to shut off conservative dissent from their agenda by whatever means necessary. Fueled in part by money like that they received from David Friend of Carbonite. To do this they are quite specifically going after conservative talk radio hosts and television commentators one by one by one. The fact that David Friend of is there to stick it to Rush is all the better. The fact that Ed Schulz called Laura Ingraham a slut is one big no-big-deal to Sandra Fluke herself when she wants air time on with Mr. Ed. Why should David Friend care if Ms. Fluke doesn’t? So, Carbonite continues as Mr. Ed’s sponsor, sluts be damned.

As noted earlier, what began with Don Imus, Lou Dobbs, and Glenn Beck has just hit Pat Buchanan… Now, they want Rush’s scalp…

In his last speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) just weeks ago, Andrew Breitbart stood at the podium and said: “Conservatives used to take it and we’re not taking it anymore.”

…By doing what they have now done, these one-time sponsors of Rush Limbaugh’s show have now startlingly indicated that they are signing on with anti-First Amendment thugs.

We’ve got work to do, friends. It’s time to Rally for Rush.

    And, please: pass it on.’

What Would Breitbart Do? Rally for Rush! #WWBD

Sources inform today that Pam Dickler, director of the 1998 production of The Love Song of Saul Alinsky in Chicago that included a panel discussion featuring then-State Sen. Barack Obama, has a video tape of the play.

    And she won’t release it.

“There is only one archive tape of the play and I have it,” Dickler informed our source. “It is not in Chicago.”

Dickler told our source that she doesn’t believe she’s ever watched the tape, and she doesn’t know if it “can be viewed.” But she added: “No one is going to see the tape.”

She said she felt “very protective over it … due to all of the interest from conservatives recently.” She also told our source that the poster for the play was never supposed to be distributed.

Dickler added that there were no transcripts of the panel discussion.

“They didn’t know he was going to go on to become the president,” she said. “If they had known that, they would have of course kept any transcripts, but there were never any taken.”

Mainstream journalists have attempted to dismiss yesterday’s column by Andrew Breitbart about the play by claiming that Obama had merely attended the production–a defense hinted at by Chicago Reader columnist Michael Miner’s initial column.

However–as even Miner noted–Obama did not merely attend the play; he was featured on the poster and in the panel discussion that followed.

So, if the play’s so harmless, why are Obama’s allies hiding it?

Why not release the video tape?

What can America do to have a leader like this ? Netanyahu’s speech here is one for the history books. Something BIG is about to happen and this speech will be studied for years to come like some old Hitler footage. He is telling Obama to shove it. Israel will do what a man has to do to protect their women and children. Never again means never again.

The Get-Rush Campaign Isn’t About What He Said

Rush Limbaugh was broadsided last week for attacking a star witness for the Democrats who demanded government force insurers to subsidize contraceptives. He called 30-year-old Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute.”

Let’s all agree Limbaugh crossed a line. He agrees. He posted an apology to Fluke “for the insulting word choices.” The scandal-ette should be over.

So why are the Left and the media still pushing and publicizing a campaign for advertisers to dump the Limbaugh show and end his career? Because it has little to do with his words. This is all about disingenuous politics. Liberals want this government-mandate controversy to be not about religious liberty, which is devastating, but about contraceptives, which works in their favor.

    That is intellectually dishonest.

They want to position conservatives as “anti-women.” That’s as ugly as it is untrue.

But Limbaugh’s words gave them the opening they needed – and they pounced.

Just how sensitive are liberals to the plight of women, anyway?

Let’s see how they react when one of their own savages women in ways Limbaugh would never dream of doing.

Everyone remembers Ed Schultz calling Laura Ingraham a “slut” on his radio show.

MSNBC suspended him for a week, but none of Schultz’s advertisers dropped his show under media pressure. There was no pressure. Some of the same sponsors now pulling out of Rush’s show still support Schultz.

What Schultz said is nothing compared to his colleagues.

Fellow talk show host Mike Malloy hoped Sarah Palin “drives herself into madness” and insisted Michele Bachmann is an “evil bitch from Hell” who would have gladly supervised the Holocaust.

Montel Williams rooted on Air America for Bachmann to slit her own wrist or throat.

Randi Rhodes insisted that teenage boys weren’t safe from Palin’s advances if they stayed over at her house. There’s no news coverage or “war on women” narrative when the mud-covered women are conservatives.

Maybe these hosts aren’t prominent enough?

Then consider the case study of Bill Maher, who’s welcomed all over TV news shows.

A year ago on his HBO show, he called Sarah Palin a “dumb twat.”

He followed up days later in a Dallas stand-up routine by calling Palin the C-word.

Last July on HBO, he said Palin was “a bully who sells patriotism like a pimp, and the leader of a strange family of inbred weirdos.”

Last September on his show, Maher said Palin would have sex with Rick Perry if he was black.

Maher bragged on his show Friday critics can’t touch him because “I don’t have sponsors.” But that doesn’t mean he should be coddled, either, and yet he’s regularly honored across the media as a special guest, be it news networks or entertainment shows.

Days after he called Palin the T-word, he appeared with then-CNN host Eliot Spitzer, where Spitzer concluded, “Your show is brilliant. I love watching it.”

On Sunday, Democratic Party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz huffed on “Meet the Press” that “I don’t know any woman in America that thinks that being called a slut is funny.” But two months ago, she accepted an invitation to sit on the set with the man who called Palin a “c—.”

President Obama placed a tender phone call to Sandra Fluke Friday to express sympathy for Limbaugh’s harsh words. He never called Ingraham, or Palin. But his super PAC did cash that $1 million check from Maher.

    Some outrage is so, so….targeted.

Limbaugh has been singled out and condemned across the national media – ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and USA Today.

How many of these outlets have condemned Bill Maher with equal vigor for his attacks on Palin?

Screw the world court and you–

If the brits and french had disarmed hitler when he entered the rhineland there would have been no ww2.

No right to disarm a sovereign nation? You fool–what do you think the brits did to the czechs? What did they do to the jews in palestine prior to 1948?

Do you think that armies today line up in squares to fight as they once did? Should the ambassadors slap each other with gloves before they fight?

Schmucky a-hole–once iran announced it wa preparing to wipe the jews off the face of the earth the war started. Now the jews intend on finishing it.

too bad to you. Hope their coming victory gives you eternal heartburn. it will prepare you for hell.

Look at the video clip of meeting on “Washington Free Beacon.” Obama is showing Netanyahu the sole of his shoe as Israeli talks about “Israel´s right to defend herself.”

  • chuck in st paul

So then, is Obysmal going to order the US to shoot down the Israeli planes? It wouldn’t surprise me.

As for #7 Accidental Tourettes, Israel has been in a state of war with the Arabs and Persians since 1948. It has never stopped. They do have a right to exist and therefore a right to self defense including preemptive strikes on their openly declared enemies. Oh yeah, BTW, the World Court is a farce and has been from day one.

  • Blacque Jacques Shellacque

Israel, he explained, has been waiting for years to see if diplomacy and sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program would work, but said they have not been successful.

And still the phony in the White House presses yet again to try another round of ineffective diplomacy and ineffective sanctions.

    Absolute, total insanity.

re Why not release the video tape?

For the same reason the LA Times won’y release the video of Hussein making judenophobic jokes with his Muslim friends. Once Hussein is removed from the WH all these videos will come out pell mell, we must vet him without the help of videos kept by his supporters. Here is a bit toward the vetting of Hussein…

    ‘Holy f**k!

(Or should I say, in a more lady-like way, “Oh dear…”)

The Democratic Party engaged in an effort to throw the 2008 election.

And Russian money went to the campaign of Barack Obama much as Chinese money went to the campaign of Bill Clinton during the 1990s.

    1) The black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly and Ohio as reported the night of the election and Sen. McCain chose not to fight. The matter is not dead inside the party. It now becomes a matter of sequence now as to how and when to “out”.

    2) It appears the Dems “made a donation” to Rev. Jesse (no, they would never do that!) to keep his yap shut after his diatribe about the Jews and Israel. A little bird told me it was a “nice six-figure donation”. This also becomes a matter of how and when to out.

    3) The hunt is on for the sleezy Russian money into O-mans coffers. A smoking gun has already been found. Will get more on this when the time is right. My source was too giddy to continue. Can you say Clinton and ChiCom funny money? This also becomes a matter of how and when to out.’…

Wikileaks: Obama secretly took Russian money for his campaign

America has a criminal in the WH but we already knew that.

I’d give my right nut to have the Prime Minister as a citizen of the USA & running as a candidate on the GOP ticket.

Israel has a leader. Anyone know where America can find one? Seems to be a shortage.

Israel shouldn’t worry. Obama has promised to apologize to them if they get wiped out.

Bibi do what you must NOW, this country minus Obama is in your corner.

I watched the speech last night. Bibi gave one for the ages, that’s for sure. And I was cheering him on the whole time.

To hell with the U.S., the world court [big whoop], and the court of progressive opinion. Israel, you go do what you have to do. You don’t need us.

And Bibi’s remark on the price of gas when/if Iran closes the Hormuz was pretty enlightening, too.

I probably learned more about the ME situation last night than this so-called POTUS would ever honestly say.
