Conservative Sarah Steelman is the first Missouri Republican candidate to release an ad in support of religious rights. Steelman is one of three Republicans vying for a chance to defeat Catholic liberal Senator Claire McCaskill. Businessman John Brunner is another.
Good for Sarah Steelman for speaking out on this important issue – and for hitting Claire at the same time.

That is what all leaders should be saying. There are those who believe the same thing. NOW WAITING FOR THEM TO SPEAK UP AND START IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS.

I like how Sarah bears an interesting facial resemblance to Madonna.

Claire McCaskill has always been socially liberal. What she tries to convince everyone is that she is a fiscal conservative even though she has voted for just about every Obama Spendarama idea.

After walking out of the hearing Thursday, Holmes Norton pulled Fluke into the hallway to allow her to speak to reporters. Fluke began to cry as she told the story of her 32-year-old friend who was diagnosed with ovarian cysts and prescribed birth control pills as the only remedy for her condition that could save her from becoming infertile. Because her student insurance did not cover contraception, Fluke’s friend could not afford her medication, and she eventually lost her ovary and began experiencing symptoms of early menopause.
“Those are the consequences of this policy, and those are the voices the chairman silenced today,” Fluke said.

The problem with framing the argument this way is it only seeks protection for religious-oriented institutions. That’s fine for the Catholic charities and colleges, and even the Baptists’. But what about the business owner with a moral objection? He’s thrown under the bus.
We do NOT need exceptions or exemptions to the rule, we need the rule REPEALED. Anything less is a victory for Obama and his baby butchers.
