GOP Congressman Walked Out On Obama’s Disgusting Campaign Speech at Prayer Breakfast

Hats off to Phil Gingrey!

Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Georgia) walked out on Obama’s outrageous campaign speech yesterday at the National Prayer Breakfast. Obama decided to give a stump speech on socialism for the attendees at the breakfast.
Rome News reported:

Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey (Ga.) walked out of President Obama’s speech at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, his spokeswoman confirmed to The Hill.

Jen Talaber said the five-term lawmaker “left quietly” in the middle of the president’s remarks.

“He was disturbed and offended by the president’s use of prayer and reflection time for partisan politics and class warfare,” Talaber said. “Rep. Gingrey enjoyed listening to the keynote speaker and found the breakfast to be inspiring until President Obama began politicking.”

At the breakfast, Obama tried to tie some of the proposals from his State of the Union address, such as everyone paying their fair share in taxes, to Biblical teachings.

Somehow I never read anywhere in the Bible that Jesus advocated his love of man with higher taxes or that demonstrating love your brother was demanding more government power or regulations. I must be a bad Christian. I’ll just have to read the Bible to find these passages.

Recognize this for what it is — Obama wants to increase taxes for the very rich (taxes which he knows will cascade down to the middle class) and use these taxes to pay for BIGGER GOVERNMENT. The Bible does want us to help our fellow citizens — it does not say that we cannot help them through our churches, our non-profit organizations, etc. BUT the Marxist position is that BIG GOVERNMENT CAN DO EVERYTHING BETTER THAT WE CAN AND IT MUST CONTROL EVERYTHING and redistribute our WEALTH to those people who big government feels is entitled to it! Socialism is the truly the road to equal poverty for all Americans. I was born free and I don’t want to die under Socialism!

Obviously they don’t teach that in Islam, where bedouins coveted everything others had and so continually raided the more fortunate. And communists and socialists don’t believe in God, either, so why pay attention to His commandments?

Look at his voting record. This “conservative” voted to authorize President Obama, the executive power, to detain US citizens on US soil indefinitely without due process. He, along with a bi-partisan group, basically gave Obama the ability to deny you your 5th Amendment rights.

But like lemmings, you drool over some superficial stunt. This is precisely why we have “conservatives” that don’t vote conservative. Because they know that the serf-sheeple won’t hold them accountable if they throw the serfs a little red-meat from time to time.

Obama’s class envy programs are contrary to the Bible. Commandment X: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s good. The Second Great Commandment: Love thy neighbor.

That justice and peace stuff: it ain’t charity if you take other people’s money and line your voters pockets with it. It’s cynical political posturing.

It don’t work. Future economists and historians (assuming, please God, the world is not plunged into a new dark age) will marvel at how a concept so dull and illogical as income/wealth redistribution could have exercised such control over idiot liberals (I repeat myself again), sanctimonious saints, et al. The Georgia Administrative Courts just handed a victory to Obama and his Lawyer who did not even bother to show up for their Ballot Eligibility hearing. Naturally they should have lost by default and they should have been held in contempt of court. Komen foundation has deceived the public by keeping a lid, in the past, of their relationship with Planned Parenthood. To now make the statement that they are re-joined because of their focus of saving women’s lives is an irresponsible and uneducated stance since the number of medical abortions intended to save a woman’s life are negligible in number. Not only will I discontinue my personal donations, but their foundation will no longer be listed as an eligible charity within our organization’s payroll dedudctions, effective immediately. Personally, I will do whatever I can to speak against the Komen Foundation due to their deception in the past and present decision. Shame on them!!!
