Brit Hume: I Think Rick Santorum Would Be “Risky Nominee”… His Positions Would Be “General Election Poison” (Video)

Brit Hume was on with Bill O’Reilly tonight to discuss the Republican primary. Hume agreed with Bill that the media would be all over Santorum in a general election.

“You’re absolutely right Bill and that’s why I think Santorum would be a risky nominee. I’ve read his positions on contraception and prenatal testing and so forth and it’s a respectable case he makes on those things. But those are not the major issues this election year. And while I think in the context of a republican primary those issues may not hurt him too badly… But those issues would be general election poison.”
