President Obama told reporters yesterday that Bush is the foodstamp president not him.

“First of all, I don’t put people on food stamps. People become eligible for food stamps. Second of all, the initial expansion of food-stamp eligibility happened under my Republican predecessor, not under me. Number three, when you have a disastrous economic crash that results in 8 million people losing their jobs, more people are going to need more support from government.”

Of course, Barack is not being honest with you.

Today there are over 46 million people on foodstamps. After three years of the Obama Administration the number continues to climb.

    I think it’s really despicable to refer to a President as a “food stamp President” if it’s shameless for 0bama to say such a thing about Bush, what does that make Gingrich for starting the dialogue about 0bama in the first place?

    Looks like your other option is to support the guy who stays above the fray. Of course he is 0bama-Lite and would continue down the same path.

    Looks like Republicans are between a rock and a hard place.

    You could always support a real constitutional conservative like Ron Paul.

    If you like Socialism, Fascism, Tyranny or a Totalitarian Dictatorship and don’t care too much for the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, civil liberties or freedom then don’t vote for Ron Paul just vote for one of the puppets and you can have Big Government control every move you make.

    The number of people on food stamps has exploded in N. Dak. solely because of changed eligibility, while most of the nation has high unemployment they have a labor shortage. Govt. workers work to make people aware of the new rules to expand the program and help them enroll.

    Obama’s right. He didn’t put people on Food Stamps—they become ‘eligible’ for Food Stamps. Believe it or not, words mean something. You should pay more attention to the use of words.

    It’s estimated that there are 20 to 30 million unemployed or underemployed. Almost half of the people on food stamps are children, disabled, and seniors. Do you wants to take the food out of their mouths?

    Snakes slither and dogs bark, it’s in their nature and they cannot help themselves. Our present POTUS is the same way, he cannot accept the consequences of his ideology.

    Truth? Honesty? Veracity? — His remarks/actions show the relationship he has with these concepts. If he wasn’t blaming President Bush he would be blaming the farmers for charging to much for the food they grow, or blaming the Republican party, or blaming his dog… It makes no difference, he is not going to be the one at fault.

    Furthermore, the people of America will see this and….yawn. They don’t care, thinking that it doesn’t really affect them. Sheep are satisfied as long as they’re comfortable, not understanding that the ‘guard dog’ has been replaced by a hungry wolf. There has always been plenty of pasture in the past, so there will be green pastures tomorrow…right? That ‘wolf’ seems big and strong, what sheep wants to chase it away? None that I’m aware of…. Perhaps if the sheep all get together and ‘vote’ the wolf away he will leave.
