Obama’s Politics of Envy Are a Complete Contradiction to Biblical Teaching

It should be obvious by now that Barack Obama and his minions, including those in the media, have decided to use envy, sloth, violence and greed as the foundation for this year’s democratic platform.
This completely contradicts America’s Judeo-Christian foundation.
Aryeh Spero at the Wall Street Journal explains how Obama’s class warfare is a complete contradiction of Biblical teaching:
No country has achieved such broad-based prosperity as has America, or invented as many useful things, or seen as many people achieve personal promise. This is not an accident. It is the direct result of centuries lived by the free-market ethos embodied in the Judeo-Christian outlook.
Furthermore, only a prosperous nation can protect itself from outside threats, for without prosperity the funds to support a robust military are unavailable. Having radically enlarged the welfare state and hoping to further expand it, President Obama is attempting to justify his cuts to our military by asserting that defense needs must give way to domestic programs.
Both history and the Bible show the way that leads. Countries that were once economic powerhouses atrophied and declined, like England after World War II, once they began adopting socialism. Even King Solomon’s thriving kingdom crashed once his son decided to impose onerous taxes.
At the end of Genesis, we hear how after years of famine the people in Egypt gave all their property to the government in return for the promise of food. The architect of this plan was Joseph, son of Jacob, who had risen to become the pharaoh’s top official, thus: “Joseph exchanged all the land of Egypt for pharaoh and the land became pharaoh’s.” The result was that Egyptians became indentured to the ruler and state, and Joseph’s descendants ended up enslaved to the state.
Many on the religious left criticize capitalism because all do not end up monetarily equal—or, as Churchill quipped, “all equally miserable.” But the Bible’s prescription of equality means equality under the law, as in Deuteronomy’s saying that “Judges and officers . . . shall judge the people with a just judgment: Do not . . . favor one over the other.” Nowhere does the Bible refer to a utopian equality that is contrary to human nature and has never been achieved.
The motive of capitalism’s detractors is a quest for their own power and an envy of those who have more money. But envy is a cardinal sin and something that ought not to be.
God begins the Ten Commandments with “I am the Lord your God” and concludes with “Thou shalt not envy your neighbor, not for his wife, nor his house, nor for any of his holdings.” Envy is corrosive to the individual and to those societies that embrace it. Nations that throw over capitalism for socialism have made an immoral choice.

The rabbi shortened his article by making a single, effective point. However, it is well to consider what follows: it does not follow from this article that everything businessmen decide to do is good, ethical, or legal.
For example, Mitt Romney was trying to cite his experience at Bain Capital as part of his qualifications for the Presidency of the United States. He made a lot of money at Bain. He was supposed to be something called a “managing partner” for one Damon Corporation, which was involved in a huge fraud.
Newt Gingrich actually put the best face on Romney’s claims, by gently correcting him, saying that his role had nothing to do with day-to-day management of the companies in which Bain invested, and that he had very little to do with whether those companies made money or not. Had Romney had the nerve to accept that correction, he wouldn’t have set himself up for an easy connection to criminal activity at a firm where he was titled “Managing Partner.”

And one big thing that prosperity brings to a person who holds honesty and integrity about their earnings is, it allows people to give and to give “cheerfully” like the Bible tells us to. And yes, there were many more people being helped by conservative Christian’s before liberals took our society and culture away from us back in the 60′s with their cutting accusations that since there were so many more poor Blacks than Whites or other races, Blacks must be the ones that are being discreminated against the most by Whites.
What could we say about that? How could we explain that there were just so many who were sorry and no good and even though they had been helped wouldn’t stand up when given the chance. So, yes they weren’t being taken care of as much as others, sorry, but we don’t waste our money like that, and that is in the Bible to. We took care of those Blacks who were worth taking care of and the rest we let to be on their own. That it was the fault of White people that Blacks weren’t doing better than they deserved because after all didn’t our Constitution guarantee rights for everyone to the pursuet of happiness? That it was White people who were keeping Black people down.
And after White Northern Liberals came down here and ripped the doors off of our nations education system America has been embarked on a never ending search for some way to have every Black come out of school as equally educated as any other race of kid. Well, guess what, after twenty years White Northern Liberals found out that we were telling them the truth, that there are just some Blacks who don’t want the same things out of life as everybody else, and they just didn’t understand that. Well, we tried to tell them and look at our schools now. Look in the White House now. Look at how many Blacks graduate from college now. Look at how many Blacks start their own businesses now that liberals thought it was White people were preventing. Only a tiny fraction of a percent of more Blacks have taken advantage of the multitude of opportunities that the White Northern Liberals thought White people in general were keeping from certain people that was the reason why only certain people were achieving and others weren’t.
Nope, we were just following what the Bible told us was going to happen if we just helped everyone “equally”, and what would happen if we became slaves to all the changes liberals made in our culture and society in order to have the same ourcome for everyone that they believed it was supposed to be. Not like it was told in the Bible how IT IS!! Liberals don’t like their own findings making a fool out of them so they hide it in ever intensifying attacks on Christian’s and conservatives. Absolutely. Socialism is institutionalized coveting, a mortal sin and directly spawns the sins of lying, theft, murder and adultery. It denies God and sets up idols.
So, that means that Socialism is one of Satan’s manifesting his evil will thru earth. One particularly powerful and destructive to the human condition. The mass media is the first time in history that a lie can be broadcast to up to 5 billon people instantly – the only one not aware are the poorest in the remotest, but they’ll hear it eventually.

The Bible even tells us what mankind is capable of. It says that in working for the Lord that some are only capable of 30, and some are only capable of 60, and some are capable of 80. Liberals don’t like hearing that. They think the Bible lies, that given enough money and time and a abundance of opportunities, even the dumbest person can be taught to read by the third grade!(No Child Left Behind). Educator’s all over the country are trying to tell liberals in Washington that you can’t hold everyone back while some dumb kid who just won’t be able to read is not ever going to catch up with everyone else.
For the most part that is the reason why Whites put Blacks in their own schools. Now, I do have to admit that that wasn’t fair for those Blacks who did possess the mind for doing as well as any White or non-Black. If it was up to me I would put schools back the way they were except for one change that was really all that was needed back in 1957 when the first Black kids were being escorted up the side walk to go to a White public high school in Georgia, not like liberals did by ripping the doors off of the best education system in the world. And that would have been just exactly how those Black kids were chosen to be the ones who went to the White high school in Georgia, and that was, they were tested first and they passed the test to be seen as being far ahead enough in their studies to be able to hit the ground running in that school.
That’s what would have made all the difference in the Black communities is if their child had the chance to test to get into a non-Black public school so they could get a opportunity to go the some ivy league school like all the rest of the kids.
It has been proven that if you treat people fairly in opportunity but exclude everyone who doesn’t come up to the standard, you can take advantage of the some 30, some 60, some 80 in how people in a society accomplish their dreams. We would have gotten the best that the Black race had to offer. Blacks would have had superb role models for which to follow instead of what they are following now, and that would have been better incentive for others to follow in their footsteps to see if they could come up to the high standard that was available to everyone who wanted to get all they could out of life.
Liberals don’t believe in this “exclusion” of everyone except those who pass the test. But what they don’t want to admit is, that is the way life is. Even God doesn’t call everyone equally, or not at all. It’s because not everyone can do as well as He needs them to do, and He knows that of us. “For God knows man better than he knows himself.” We strive for that understanding in everything we do. What was so wrong with the way things were where everyone was being treated as fairly as they could?

It’s because as the way liberals saw American society, it didn’t include every single citizen. That some citizens weren’t getting as much as everyone else. And they embarked on tearing down our society in order to “make it right”. Or as Obama says, to make America like our value system should be. What values are there when there is no foundation on which to build upon? The value system we were using before liberals took over our culture and society was the values we learned from the Bible. It may not have included everyone, but that’s the way real life is. Liberals are all about “inclusiveness” or “inclusion”. But they are also all about taking your money to pay for all the programs they saw that was needed in order to be able to include everyone who were being excluded for a reason. And that was they didn’t deserve to be included. They didn’t show any ambition towards being able to do anything with the opportunity if given to them. That’s why even in the Black community they know who’s sorry and no good and doesnt’ deserve a damn thing. But here it takes a whole bunch of Blacks working their butts off to see to it that he’s got his Welfare check every month though, huh?

Over the last few weeks or so, various elements of the mainstream media have reported that, aside from gay marriage, Romney continues to support much of the gay agenda. He does not talk about his positions on gay issues but if questioned, he invariably comes down on the liberal side. Indeed, Romney has come out in support of allowing gays to serve openly in the military, “anti-discrimination” laws, domestic partnerships and gay adoption rights. Of course, all of these positions come at the expense of the constitutional rights of others, military morale, and what’s best for children, but Romney does not appear to care, yet he continues to portray himself as a social conservative.
For those familiar with Romney’s gubernatorial record, these stances are not shocking. He has always been a strong advocate for the homosexual agenda but many conservative groups, writers, and even talk show hosts have declined to write or talk about it for reasons that are mystifying. Indeed, Massachusetts pro-family leader Amy Contrada has written a 1,000-page book – Mitt Romney’s Deception –documenting in incredible detail the hundreds of actions and policies pursued by Governor Romney in support of the homosexual agenda. The book is a plethora of shocking information yet very few conservative writers will review the book.
Contrada’s book makes clear beyond any doubt that Romney initiated what was perhaps the most aggressive effort in American history to advance gay rights. He appointed gay judges, issued gay proclamations, gave a “parents of the year” award to a gay couple, funded gay school programs, promoted gay pride parades, gay proms, and much more. Additionally, Governor Romney aggressively and unilaterally implemented the Goodridge gay marriage decision even though the court never ordered him to do so. Moreover, he personally issued special “one-day” permits for 189 same sex couples to marry. So much for opposing gay marriage “at every opportunity” as his campaign claims he did.
Romney’s consultants are thrilled that much of this has been ignored by the media but with Romney on the verge of winning the GOP nomination, isn’t it about time all aspects of his record are analyzed? After all, his actual record will be far more indicative of how he will govern as President than are poll-driven campaign sound bites.
The Romney’s campaign has boasted of how he was a proponent of abstinence education while Governor, but when one researches his record, his abstinence program was watered down to the point of being useless, was placed in only a small fraction of schools and, as one Romney staff member stated, “did not replace comprehensive sex education.” In other words, they kept the Planned
Parenthood “have-sex-with-anyone-for-any-reason” sex ed program intact. By this time, Romney knew he was running for President so it’s likely his phony abstinence program was designed to give him fodder for future campaign speeches.
However, something else has come to light that’s even more revealing regarding Romney’s weak abstinence record, and that’s his support for the AIDS Action Committee (AAC). Despite its charitable sounding name, the AAC is an extremely radical homosexual group that aggressively opposes abstinence education and promotes a total hedonistic homosexual lifestyle including “transgenderism,” sadomasochistic behavior and group sex. It opposes any moral limits on sexual behavior, no matter how risky or unhealthy. And it’s no secret – they’re very boastful about their views.
One might say, ok, well, so what, what’s does some wacked out gay group in Boston have to do with Mitt Romney? Well, according to financial records released while governor, Romney personally gave $10,000 to this group in 2004.
In contrast, Romney gave $2,500 in 2003 to the Best Friends Foundation, an organization operated by Bill Bennett’s wife that promotes abstinence among teenage girls. So a radical hedonistic anti-abstinence gay group gets $10,000 from Romney but an abstinence group run by conservatives receives a quarter of that amount. Hmm…
One of the AAC’s more infamous publications is The Little Black Book, Queer in the 21st Century, which was published, as the booklet itself states, with assistance from Romney’s Department of Public Health. The booklet promotes the most perverse behavior, including “water sports,” “rimming” and “fisting.” It also lists local gay bars. Incredibly, this filth was distributed to public schools. In 2005, when some parents discovered the booklet was passed out at Brookline High, all hell broke loose. Apparently, some parents thought teaching their kids how to urinate on one another wasn’t a good idea. The controversy was covered by the Boston Globe and Romney was questioned by a reporter about it. He had little choice but to denounce The Little Black Book as “graphic pornographic material” that didn’t belong in the public schools.
However, a year earlier, Romney’s own Department of Public Health assisted AAC with the publication of the booklet. Moreover, the AAC has always used graphic material in its publications, even during the time period it received $10,000 from Romney. It’s what AAC is known for. It is hard to believe Romney didn’t know this. Romney apologists will argue that AAC also worked to prevent AIDS, but it hard to see how a group that promotes such risky behaviors can do any good preventing AIDS. AAC’s support of the lets-have-sex-with-as-many-partners-as-possible lifestyle and its advocacy of group sex, bathhouses, and opposition to abstinence programs make them the poster group for everything that created the AIDS epidemic.
However, in retrospect, Romney did support some of AAC’s policies. Romney had no problem with condom distribution in the public schools, another AAC goal, despite the message such a program sends to children. When asked about distributing condoms in schools, he replied, “if a community feels that condom distribution is a helpful thing, then that community should be able to do that. And if another community feels that’s something they don’t support, then they should have the right to do that, as well.” That’s real leadership for you.
The AAC contribution raises many troubling questions. Most importantly, why kind of moral compass does Romney possess if he’s willing to give $10,000 to a group that openly supports the most hedonistic and unsafe homosexual behaviors? How can Romney be a faithful Mormon and still support AAC? Is this Romney’s idea of gay “rights?” Lastly, if Romney thinks the AAC approach is the way AIDS should be fought, what will he do when he has control of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services?
