Egyptian Islamists Torch Homes and Businesses in Coptic Village

Egyptian Islamists torched churches, homes and businesses in the Coptic village of Kebly-Rahmaniya this week.

Asia News reported, via Religion of Peace:

Anti-Christian violence continues in Egypt, according to local sources, the episodes are linked to the attempt of fundamentalist Islamic fringe – Salafis – to block the vote of the religious minority in the next election. On 19 January, a mob attacked the Coptic Christian community of the village of Kebly-Rahmaniya, near the town of Nag Hammadi, Qena governorate, Upper Egypt. The assailants, chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great) attacked and burned down houses, huts, shops and businesses (click here to see the video). The raid was also caused two injuries: a 16 year old boy, struck by a bullet and a 40 year old man with facial injuries.

Witnesses quoted by Assyrian International News Agency (AINA) report that Egyptian security forces did not intervene promptly to repel the onslaught and defend the Christians. Even the teams of firefighters delayed their intervention, arriving only 90 minutes after the assault, and when most of the buildings were already in flames. A source adds that a hut belonging to a Coptic Christian was burned to make room for the construction of a mosque. Moreover in the area there are now 300 Muslim places of worship, compared to only one Christian church even though Christians are 50% of the local population.

According to the Copts, the anti-Christian violence is related to the upcoming parliamentary elections: the Salafis, in fact, want to prevent the religious minority from voting which, with its 20 thousand members, can shift the balance of power in the area. The Copts are close to the Muslim moderate wing, which opposes the Islamist front. A witness confirmed that “no Copt from Rahmaniya-Kebly could vote” and that “the Salafis will win the elections.”

Why aren’t the COPTIC Christians giving the Islamists a consequence for killing them. It seems if they’re just going to sit there taking it with no reprisals, they’re just going to keep on getting it.

AMEN, AND AMEN!! But, if you look at that scripture it’s really saying, “Man, I’m telling you God, those people have really mistreated me and returned my kindness with meanness. So screw them Lord! And while you’re at it do these things to him, his wife, and his kids so as to punish them for being mean to me.” And do we know what the outcome of that prayer was? Let me tell you what I’ve found out being a Christian for many years. God is not a god of fantasy. He is the god of reality. As Christian’s know, we are all born with everything that we will need to do all the each one of us will do in their life. As the Bible says, “…some 30, some 60, some 80.” What that means is some of us will do better than others and they are born with all that they will need to accomplish what they will. Now, figuring all things being equal, if the person takes advantage of opportunities in their life they will be more sucessful than someone else who may not have those opportunities.

If the Christian’s don’t have the support that they need in Egypt, and 90% of the country is Muslim, it’s pretty safe to say Christian’s aren’t going to find the support they need in their government to partican off part of the city and call it the Christian sector, as this area is called the Coptic Christian zone or whatever, Muslims aren’t going to respect those area’s unless they can get some support in the government who can send in troops and/or large numbers of police to stomp crap out of the Muslims and tell them to leave Christian’s alone, even if they are out of their area like in the market place. Muslims are at war with Christianity and Jews…period. It is that time in the world. If people didn’t think they could, they could summond up the courage and attack these Muslims who are attacking them and just kill the hell out of them. But at what cost? And would they have to kill the police and military as well until they could get the government to come to where the fighting is going on and step in and stop it. The Christian’s could not have any charges put upon them for defending themselves because they wouldn’t have had to if they hadn’t been attacked by Muslims first. That may not make any difference in Egypt where everyone nearly are Islamic and the whole area has been Islamic for a long time.

Just like here in America, what would have happened to us if Christian’s and business owners started kicking the hell out of the Occupier’s. Who do you think would have gone to jail. But if the police are attacked to for not doing their damn job, I’ll be they would have backed off and the Occupier’s to, and the city would have sent somebody in to make peace and made the Occupier’s leave the city, or move them way out of the city where they could be controlled. It’s the police in Egypt, and here in the U.S. who won’t do their job and they are the reason why there is violence between groups. If it is up to the people to keep the peace and one group won’t then it is up to the police to do it. But if they won’t either, then they need to be concidered enemy as well as those who are attacking you. Until they start getting their butts kicked and as many killed as the attackers then, and only then will they change their minds and believe it is worth their wile to do their duty and stop the violence.

This is historicly what it takes to get people to do the right thing. The only time it doesn’t work out like that is at a time of war. Then there aren’t any police to keep peace because everyone is shooting at everyone else. Is this what it’s going to take in Egypt? In America?

Since, it has become the norm to protect the criminal, and arrest the law abiding. That is when the country becomes a police state, and that is what we see here. You can’t protect yourself because of unConstitutional law that has taken our right to protect yourself, your family, and your business. We saw this in New Orleans when the Chief of Police went around with his swat team and confiscated everyone’s guns who admitted having one. By the time the NRA lawyers went to New Orleans to put an end to the unConstitutional confiscation, the Chief had retired, and the city attorneys claimed not knowing anything about any guns. They were forced to admit it and when the NRA attorneys were taken to the a connex outside the guns had no tags on them as to they belonged to, were rusted and ruined from the rain.

What the Christian’s in Egypt need are military people who aren’t afraid to shoot at attackers and anyone else who gets in the way. And when it becomes enough of a blood bath for the Muslims they will back off and leave them alone. That is how they always do. But you have to show them you aren’t afraid. Just like here, that’s what it is going to have to take, but we can’t do it alone or one at a time. It is going to take a very large number of people to stand against the powers before they give us respect we deserve.
