West tells Democrats where to go…
Rep. Allen West (R-FL) spoke at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in Palm Beach last night.
He told Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Debbie Wasserman Schultz to “Get the Hell Out of America!”
The Huffington Post reported:
Speaking to a Lincoln Day Dinner in West Palm Beach for the Palm Beach County GOP, Rep. Allen West (R-Fla) fired off a humdinger of a line that within minutes drew recriminations from Democrats on Twitter.
“We need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, (audience boos) and my dear friend the chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain’t on the table,” West said. “Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”
Following cheers, West added, “Yeah I said ‘hell.’“

I have, in writing about Iraq, referred to the task of defeating Al-Qaeda there as “closing the gates of Hell.” I think it is worthwhile to consider Rep. Wests’s use of that word as a noun, and not just as an emphatic phrase.
What do Americans think of as Hell-on-earth, but the old Soviet Union? I see the actions of Reid, Pelosi, and Obama as an attempt to re-make our country into the image of that miserably failed utopia.
Sparky commented:
West would make a good VP for Newt and solidify the relevance and power of the Tea Party.
Seems this election is a battle against the elitist GOP who will do whatever it takes to protect their crony capitalism.
And that is why the GOP elite want Romney because as a Wall Street Insider, and fellow elitist, he will babysit and turn a blind eye to the Washington rot very nicely.

#7 Sparky re: West for Gingrich’s VP
In the full speech at CSPAN Gingrich mentioned assignments to both prior contenders who endorsed his campaign:
* Cain (economic growth/tax reform) and
* Perry (10th amendment)
but no mention of any plans for West (hasn’t endorsed any candidate yet).
I’m also hoping Gingrich is considering West for either VP or Sec. Defense especially since:
As it happens, U.S. Rep. Allen West won’t ‘turn my back on my country’ if asked to run for vice president
Reiterating . . .AND . . .standing firm on his 2011 statement Allen West leaves door open to 2012 VP slot
Here’s hoping.
valerie commented:
Remember how all the “Republican” talking heads howled that Newt Gingrich was “attacking capitalism” by talking about what happened at Bain on Romney’s watch?
Aside from rampant fraud of historic proportions at the Damon Corporation, there was the story of Domino’s Pizza.
http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/01/bains-dominos-pizza-model-looks-a-lot-like-the-obama-model/
There is such a thing as abuse of the corporate form. There is such a thing as using fraudulent sales to provide a false impression of the value of a company (Damon). There is such a thing as stripping a company of its assets via saddling it with crippling debt to pay extravagant bonuses, kickbacks, etc. instead of needed upgrades, or whatever.
So far, the only discussion has been about Damon Corporation. Mitt Romney, who was supposed to be a “managing partner” with respect to Damon was either involved in fraud, asleep at the wheel, or deliberately removed and insulated so that others could commit the fraud, and he could passively receive the benefit.
I think that Newt put the best possible face on Romney’s role at Bain, namely that he was not involved in the running of the business, and had no effect one way or the other in its success. Newt got called a “loose cannon” “erratic” and was said to “attack capitalism” — but what I see is a precise, mild statement, mildly delivered. The underlying facts, though, are ugly.
Amjean commented:
Todd Palin, Herman Cain, Michael Reagan, etc. need to push a money bomb for Newt.
We have to keep his candidacy alive and the only way to do that is with money.

If you want to talk about the Bible then it would be well to remember that the Bible talks about a One-World Government in control at the end-times. How do you think a one world government could actually come about? Right now do you think there are existing organizations and groups secretly (and not so secretly) promoting a One World Government ? If such a cabal existed would it be a good idea for them to have powerful “friends” on both sides of our political aisle? If they did they could win no matter which side won an election.
Haven’t you ever wondered why the Republican establishment is so in-effectual at stopping (let alone reversing) our steady march to socialism and the subverting of our constitution?
Can we agree that in the religious sense that Jesus warned against “wolves in sheep’s clothing”? That’s a metaphor for phonies in your midst that are out to destroy you. Is it at all possible that we have “wolves” in the GOP. How would they be different than the liars in the Romney camp and in what we have been calling the Republican Establishment? Maybe there is more than you ever suspected about what is happening before our own eyes.
