Sheriff Joe Arpaio: ICE Is Refusing to Take Illegal Immigrants From Maricopa County Sheriff’s Offices (Video)

The Obama Justice Department already revoked Arpaio’s deputies’ ability to check immigration status inside the county jails. Now ICE officials are refusing to take illegal immigrants from the Maricopa County sheriff’s offices.
KPHO reported:
Sheriff Joe Arpaio had his first run-in with a group of suspected illegal immigrants since things heated up with the Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice recently revoked his deputies’ ability to check immigration status inside Maricopa County jails.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Justin Griffin says they pulled over a vehicle and have eight people in their custody for human smuggling at 35th Avenue and Durango.
Griffin says they attempted to give four of the detainees to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but MCSO says ICE is refusing to take them.
Griffin says, “We asked ICE, ‘If we were DPS, would you take them from us?’ And we were told specifically, ‘Yes.’”
Last week the Obama Justice Department issued a report saying Arpaio’s office carried out a blatant pattern of discrimination against Latinos.
Now the Obama Administration is refusing to take illegal immigrants from his jails.

Obama is getting desperate for votes. He knows he is way down in the Hispanic community and he doesn’t have that many (if any) constituencies in which he is not down since being elected.
Perhaps the Latino’s are beginning to wake up to the fact that their path to realizing their fullest potential in life is one that does not include an intrusive government that is corrupt and bleeding the economy dry? Perhaps the Latino community is beginning to realize that it is the Democratic Party that is holding them back with all the handouts and programs that destroy a person’s pride and ambition?
Then again, maybe they are not beginning to wake up and Obama is being effective in courting their votes by pandering to them and allowing the illegals free reign in America.
Either way, Obama is a desperate man who is now going to do everything he can possibly do to cobble together enough people to keep him in office. As it becomes more evident that his chances of being re-elected are nil, look out for a tsunami of executive orders as his scorched earth policy begins to materialize.
The poor man is just a pathetic testament to the unintended consequences of affirmation action.

The Left recall machine took out the AZ Senate Prez Pearce (R) then 12 hours later announced they wanted to get Governor Jan Brewer (R) and Sheriff Arpaio (N for no-nonsense) – all three to be ripped out for the Open Borders crowd.
They want cover on the look of too many recalls all lined up, (they are already collecting signatures against Brewer) so a few days later, the FEDS suddenly are harassing Arpaio.
This is DEMOCRATS attacking, coordinating on a national level.

It was finished. It was resurrected to hurt Arpaio. The RECALL crowd is screaming about 4 years ago issues that Arpaio took steps to respond to with real changes, not talk.
Their professional mourner poses are designed for the worst possible press, the same Justice Department which is suing the state about SB1070 and pushing arms thru the Phoenix ATF offices suddenly show up to criticise Arpaio and theatrically yank his office’s certification, while the local Democrat agitators pretend they aren’t linked to this harassment.
There is an active Left campaign to haul Arpaio out of office.
The Justice Dept actions are not being done in a vacuum.

Gov. Brewer needs to start filing lawsuit after lawsuit. Sen McCain needs to get off his ass and defend his state. Does AZ need a citizen militia locked and loaded on the border? Obama tried to supply as many illegal aliens he could with high powered assault rifles to enable them to assassinate Arpiao. All he had to show for his efforts was one or two dead border guards in this country and a couple of hundred bodies in Mexico. First of all, may I ask you two questions about the Mexican undocumented? I focus upon the Mexican undocumented because they are our direct neighbors and make up almost 50% of the total amount of undocumented present in the US. (1) Would the Mexican undocumented come or stay here if they could make a comparable living wage and have comparable social services living and working safely at home with their families?

The bi-national corrupt 1% (US and Mexico) who are ripping off US taxpayers have much to gain by our failed immigration policies. The Mexican rich export a sub-class of poor and the US rich benefit from their cheap labor. Of course much if not all of the education and medical costs are borne by US taxpayers, not by the US rich.
Yearly these very same undocumented send home billions in remittances to help support their families in Mexico who try to survive on $5.00 a day (not an hour) pay.

It is the growing corruption of U.S. that is providing the incentive and reward that magnifies the corruption in Mexico. How disingenuous for anyone in the US to point the finger at Mexico’s corruption when our own corruption (total disregard of law) is the root cause of a great part of our neighbor’s increased bad behavior. Bottom line; Mexico will NEVER become a law abiding country until the U.S. becomes one. We have the laws, we just choose to ignore them for any number of reasons. Why should Mexico respect us at all? We are the cause of much of their problem and the average Mexican citizen and undocumented immigrant are victims of this reality. The criminals in Mexico see the booty in the U.S. created by our politicians, bureaucrats, businesses and citizens ignoring the laws of the U.S. and its several States. They will have the prize and anyone in their way will be killed. How can Mexico provide an economy for its own citizens in this environment?
Secure the border first, and stop all resultant law breaking on the U.S. side caused from the illegal and very short sighted “open border policy”, and we will be well on our way to fixing the problem. The U.S. and Mexico have a treaty which calls for mutual respect of the border. Let’s draw a line in the sand and enforce that mutual respect for starters.
Some will say it is impossible, too costly. I ask the this rhetorical question, “Wouldn’t it have cost substantially less to have just enforced the border and modified the immigration and documented worker processes (beef them up to process more) thirty years ago to bring in the extra workforce needed in a legal manner than the hundreds of billions we are spending now to manage and fix a crisis completely out of control?” Our politicians and bureaucrats are trying to place most of the blame for this predictable fiasco on the average U.S. citizen. I don’t buy it. Let’s hold them accountable.
