Rush Limbaugh: The Problem with Detroit is Liberalism. It’s the One Constant in the Last 50 Years

Rush Limbaugh was on with Greta Van Susteren last night. He was asked about a city like Detroit. Rush blamed liberalism. “It’s the one constant in the last 50 years.” Rush’s solution for Detroit, “Get rid of every liberal in government.”

Detroit and every other libral run city. Detroit was once a beacon for many poor blacks migrating north for good paying job opportunities. Why did the left find it necessary to destroy those dreams and create welfare cities?

Declaring martial law, or even issuing criminal-hunting licenses, wouldn’t hurt to solve the problem either. Either way, the “City” of Detroit needs to cease to exist – The population has moved on, it’s time to revert the whole blighted area back to the wildlands of Wayne “County.”

Going from about 1.6 Million people in the 70′s to about 700,000 now speaks volumes about how liberalism has destroyed America. They need to bring in about 100 bulldozers and put Detroit out of it’s misery.

The other constant being, of course, the UAW. When Henry Ford II decided to name their new model line ‘Edsel’ the good and stalwart members of the UAW launched a campaign of sabotage; vehicles were delivered missing parts (oil pans, hoses, wiring etc). The good ole union boys would tape a note to the steering wheel informing the dealer of what they’d need to repair prior to selling. Or even starting.
The UAW hated Edsel Ford.

Liberalism was not the root of Detroit’s problems it was a failing manufacturing industry that was incapable and unwilling to adapt to a changing market place. The arrogance of auto executives and union labor killed the city, now the left behinds do not have the means or the tools to revive it. Sure corruption and liberalism occupies Detroit, nothing much else can live there now.

A police officer makes a traffic stop. The person behind the wheel has a suspended license.
Fact: in some cities the police cannot arrest this driver.
That said, Detroit? More voters seem to be forgetting to vote in local elections or just seem to be too darn busy.
Fact: elected liberal officials are the very reason that the above traffic law is the new norm.
People, I cannot stress this more, if you want to live in a city or a nation with laws that are contrary to your beliefs, then go to your voting places and vote Republican or Conservative.
Things will change but first with you.

The problem isn’t black or white, the problems are corruption and those who use the government as a source to exist.
In order to change anything it starts with you. We need laws that only give those in need a hand up and not hand out for the rest of their existence.
Time is crucial and we need to limit their access of government welfare. And yes, a single mother with children has a deadline of sorts to get up and go to school to become a value citizens in place of a burden on society. Here there is housing for a certain amount of time for this mother to get educated while her children are in free or minimal charge care.
We must get real and stop pretending that the poor are there for us to take care of, this will keep the cycle of crime, poverty and uneducated dependents on a strapped economy.

THE TAX BASE fled the:
1967 BLACK RIOTS
The continuing CRIME after 1967
And the black anger that bred in the GHETTOS
ANY person who does NOT suffer from “white guilt” can see….
That 1967 riots and the Black Panthers started the path to destruction and the LIBERALS took advantage of their pawns.

cities going bankrupt and the HIGH percentage of blacks who live within them who are NOT WILLING to take care of…what the white man once built…
THEY ARE INCAPABLE to help themselves…
or the crumbling cities they dwell in…

Common theme remaining in these crumbling cities are the ANGRY HORDES of “gimme dat” people who continue to support…BARAK!

ain’t the manufacturing…it is the HORDES of welfare blacks cauning chaos and crime and destroying public scholls which leads to white people MOVING (fleeing) further and further and further away…

What the H are you talking about.
This is about liberalism. And the city is run by a bunch of liberals. And if this city is to change it needs the voters to make a difference. Trust me, I know more than I will say here about the liberal judges. Voters must make a difference and that in turn will change Detroit. PERIOD.

The problem is partially liberalism and partially Black racism. I’ve lived in the Detroit Metro Area since 1999. During that time, there have been plenty of offers by the suburbs of Detroit to help out Detroit to get back on its feet. From money to business plans, etc. The people of Detroit and those they put into elected office have been rejecting these offers for years, based on “we don’t want no help from White suburbanites who want to ruin our city!”
Think of that Mayor from New Orleans who said he wanted to make New Orleans a “chocolate city” again. That’s the mentality of Detroiters, who are majority Black. Racism runs rampant in the Black community here and they will refuse help for their city simply if the help is offered from White suburbanites.
Liberalism, of course, encourages this kind of mentality among the Black community. Liberals want the community to continue to suffer, because they want the Black community dependent on government and to continue voting in liberal racists like Monica Conyers.
So until places like Detroit get better leaders who can expel this racist and entitlement attitude among the Black community, things are not going to change. And the leaders who need to emerge are everyone from teachers to community leaders to church leaders to parents to politicians.
