Pakistan Says It Will Shoot Down US Drones

Pakistan says it will shoot down any US drones that enter the country’s air space.
MSNBC reported:
Pakistan will shoot down any U.S. drone that intrudes its air space per new directives, a senior Pakistani official told NBC News on Saturday.
According to the new Pakistani defense policy, “Any object entering into our air space, including U.S. drones, will be treated as hostile and be shot down,” a senior Pakistani military official told NBC News.
The policy change comes just weeks after a deadly NATO attack on Pakistani military checkpoints accidentally killed 24 Pakistani soldiers, prompting Pakistani officials to order all U.S. personnel out of a remote airfield in Pakistan.
Pakistan told the U.S. to vacate Shamsi Air Base by December 11.
A senior military official from Quetta, Pakistan, confirmed to NBC News on Saturday that the evacuation of the base, used for staging classified drone flights directed against militants, “will be completed tomorrow,” according to NBC’s Fakhar ur Rehman.

How? Aiming by allah? Two Black Hawk helicopters flew all the way across their country, drop some Navy Seals who then killed Bin Laden, and returned to Afghanistan before the Pakistanis were even aware of it. Black Hawks, stealthy or not, are not small aircraft, nor are they quiet. The one helicopter that was lost had nothing to do with any military response from the Pakistanis.
So, they are threatening to shoot down drones when the only time they will know they are present is AFTER they’ve fired their missles. If they’re just surveillance drones, well, good luck in finding them, much less hitting them.

#2, I think the key paragraph is “Pakistan told the U.S. to vacate Shamsi Air Base by December 11″. Their actions suggest to me that Bin Laden was a guest of the portion of the Pakistani government that is currently in ascendency, and that they have other guests.

A couple of things are pertinent here.
First, it will be a good thing if Pakistan starts to distance itself from us because then we can stop all of the (wasted) foreign aid we give them. They have a real problem with the huge number of radical Islamists in their country and I believe they will have their hands full with internal civil disorder for quite some time to come. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people. We can support the war in Afghanistan in other ways anyway. I think it’s about time we begin to do so.
Second, the drones are nearly invisible to radar so Pakistan will have to throw up a lot of AAA to shoot them down. Even if they shoot some down, they are unmanned so the losses to us will be minimal. Instead of hunting for radicals with the drones, we should start using the them to target their water treatment plants. Without clean water and a functional sewage system, Pakistan would become the world’s capital for dysentery in a few weeks.
Again, couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of people. Instead of clamoring for 72 virgins, they will be praying to Allah for 72 rolls of toilet paper.

Now that Iran has had full access to study the technology, thanks be to obama, They can use electronic counter measures to block radio communications with the controllers. No doubt the drone has a back up program to automatically fly when communications are lost, but that will not include evasive maneuvers. Yes i know the article is about Pakistan but only fools and our state dept. think that all muslim terrorists and their govt. sponsors do not all work together against us.

I thought our President made kissy-face with these people two years ago – that should count for something.

From the sound of it, they split the group up, dispersing those who wanted to go, arresting those who wanted to be arrested, in a calm and co-operative manner.
Why? It’s miserable to be outside in Boston in the winter. I think the #Occupiers cut a deal: “Please evict us, so we can go home, now.”

Thanks to those GENEROUS who wrote before me for under subject news for their God gifted Generosity as they are directly involved as Tax payers of USA.
Its clear that Muslims are worst nation in the world when it comes matter of money or women. Majority of Evils are always in power either its Pakistan or USA, but thanks to Americans at least you don’t have traitors, while you can see example of traitors in Muslim countries like Iraqis and Libyans who helped US to enter to their own country, Although Saddam was a cruel person but at-least majority of Iraqis were living a better life than now, and sooner Libyans will taste the freedom from Qaddafi too.
GENEROUS America has spent billions billions of dollars to attack Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya to help innocent Muslims in those countries and is never gonna ask those dollars back.
Sooner or later US is going to do the same with other Oil riches countries in Middle East with the same weapons that Muslims love to have. and US also is not gonna ask that billions billions of dollars back, as US helped the innocent (terrorist) Muslims but not for oil.
