Obama celebrates Hanukkah two weeks early and lights all the candles.
Obama tells the crowd, “We never need an excuse for a good party.”
The AP reported:
President Barack Obama is marking Hanukkah as a story of “faith over doubt.”
Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden convened a Hanukkah celebration at the White House Thursday in an early celebration of the Jewish Festival of Lights.
Obama said the Hanukkah story was about “right over might, faith over doubt.” In the Hanukkah story, a small band of Jews rededicating a Jerusalem temple found that a one-day supply of oil kindled a flame instead for eight.
The president noted “our unshakeable support and commitment to the security of the nation of Israel.”
Hanukkah begins at sunset on Dec. 20. Obama joked that everyone needs to be “careful that your kids don’t start thinking Hanukkah lasts 20 nights instead of eight.”
Obama will be in Hawaii for a couple weeks when the real Hanukah arrives.

This is an outrageous insult to Judaism, a parody of the first order, one that would be comic if it weren’t so appalling. Better he shouldn’t “celebrate” at all. But then I suppose in this day and age he needs some excuse for his weekly million dollar parties . . .

Not exactly. What he did was make fun of that holiday in a way he would not DARE to do to any of the muslim holidays.

And truly…. this habit of “Oh hey! Let’s invite every person of such-n-such heritage to this party so we can prove we know some of these people” is really pretty racist and patronizing and exploitative. “Hey Yo! Ruth Bader Ginsberg is here, cuz she’s Jewish!”
That’s the real reason the Salahi’s were allowed through at that dinner for the folks from India. They were dressed right and have the right sounding name.
It’s pretty offensive actually.

I am waiting for his ACTS 12 “Herod” moment, or his Numbers 16 “Korah” moment to strike him with Harvest. He cannot long escape. Nobody has a right to take his Harvest from him, or keep it from him.
It would be a violation of his God-given Rights.
