Herman Cain is expected to make a “major announcement” today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta, via Free Republic. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Cain is holding a press conference at his Atlanta headquarters. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support. Last night Mike Huckabee told Bill O’Reilly that Herman Cain was not going to join the other GOP candidates for the live forum he is sponsoring tonight.
51% of voters think Cain should suspend campaign. 28% disagree.
We simply don’t know what will happen, or when.
