Occupy movement aims to blockade major ports
Occupy movements plan to shut down major ports along the U.S. West Coast and Canada’s Pacific seaboard in a day of action next month, they said Wednesday.
In an announcement hours after a two-month-old anti-Wall Street protest camp was evicted in Los Angeles, they said they plan to strike back against the “nationally co-ordinated attack on the Occupy movement.”
Local Occupy movements in San Diego, L.A., Oakland – where protests shut down the port for 24 hours last month – Portland, Taco-ma and Seattle will support the Dec. 12 day of action, they said.
Farther north, protesters in the Canadian port city of Vancouver and in Anchorage, Alaska, will also “join the economic blockade and disruption of the one per cent,” they said, referring to the wealth-owning elite targeted by the “99 per cent” protesters.
“We’re shutting down these ports because of the union busting and attacks on the working class by the one per cent,” said Barucha Peller of the West Coast Port Blockade Assembly, of Occupy Oakland, in a statement.

I’m sure the unions will approve but there are a lot of other people who depend on the ports functioning and perhaps they will not be so amused with these shenanigans. Say it loud “We’re Commies and we’re proud!” Don’t let there be any doubt in anyone’s mind what you want. “What do we want? Socialism! When do we want it? NOW.”

With the widening of the Panama Canal all this will do is increase traffic for ports like Houston and Miami. Shippers do not want to take the risk of getting their goods across the Pacific just to have them torched by some commie hippies.
Of course, this will mean that all the iWhatevers that Apple puts out and Charbux coffee will cost a bit more which will send the OWieS into yet another temper tantrum because they have not grasped the simple concept of what happens when Mr. Cause meets Ms. Effect.
As to Van Jones being tried for treason yes he should be and now you understand why they are so desperate to cling to power. They know that if the Obama/Democrat regime falls there will be plenty who will be brought up on sedition, treason, corruption, fraud, theft and in the case of Fast and Furious/Gunwalker murder charges. It is no wonder to see people like Barney Frank jumping ship, and I suspect that more will soon. They gotta get ready and be able to leave the country at a moments notice to try to avoid being arrested.

Nearly half of the country’s voters vote every two years for what would qualify as open treason.

Please block the ports! Foreign trade is 99% of the reason there are NO JOBS IN AMERICA! Back when they DID make everything in America IN AMERICA, getting a job was as easy as finding a piece of dirt in a field. Now that everything is made by the ching-Chong Chinese commies, there is no places that hire, no government money (deficit to CHINA’s exports, which break in 5 seconds upon opening) and pissed off people.
