Obama Blamed US Guns for Mexican Violence – Then He Set Out to Prove Himself Right
In April 2009 Barack Obama traveled to Mexico and blamed US gun sellers for violence south of the border. Obama told his Mexican audience, “This war being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States.” Just to be sure, a few months later the Obama Administration started running their own guns to Mexico, at least 2,000 guns.

“This war is being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States… more than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that lay in our shared border. So we have responsibilities as well.”
Now there is proof that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives discussed using “Fast and Furious” to push for new regulations on gun sales.
CBS News reported:
Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation “Fast and Furious” to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.
In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the “big fish.” But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called “gunwalking,” and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
ATF officials didn’t intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called “Demand Letter 3″. That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or “long guns.” Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.
And as a result of their actions, Border Agent Brian Terry and over 200 Mexicans are dead today – so that the Obama Administration could make a case for new gun regulations.

I can recall the news stories being floated by the Obama administration, allegedly showing military grade heavy caliber automatic weapons, including crew served weapons, that supposedly were getting into Mexico, and they were being blamed on our “lax gun laws”. Apparently, those gun show people and the folks at Bass Pro were smuggling guns to the drug thugs. The stories on the news floated for a couple of weeks and then disappeared. The facts and the timing of these stories fits perfectly with this story.
Go look it up. I ain’t making this up.

This should be the biggest scandal in Presidential history. Members of this administration conspired to arm criminal drug cartels who went on to murder innocent people and federal agents. All of this perpetrated in order to promote a political agenda hell bent on illegally subverting the second amendment constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.
Where is the Republican leadership? Where are the Republican Presidential Candidates? Make the press cover it. They should be pounding away at this at every press event, townhall, campaign stop, television appearance etc.

It’s one year before the election. What’s missing here is the personal connection between BO and the decision to engage in this operation for political purposes. The facts suggest very strongly that such a connection will eventually be found, and with it, grounds for impeachment of the President. Tying down that kind of connection tends to take a lot of time, which is running out on BO’s term.
But if he wins re-election, he very likely will be impeached.

Obama has done nothing wrong, don’t you know that? In this little dictator’s mind he did what all dictator’s have always done and that is to tell a lie and keep telling it until it becomes the truth. Isn’t that what Hitler did? Now, I didn’t call Obama Hitler, I merely indicated that this was the ploy that the Nazi’s used during the time they were trying to take over the country. Obama is using 70 year old tactic’s to take over a nation of people who know better but just don’t want to stir up trouble because they know that the government can make a hell of a lot more trouble for you than you can make for them. It’s a situation where the people fear their government more than the government fears the people. After WWII the people of America had gone through one ration after another until that’s all they could think about was doing without. The Communists took advantage of this previlent attitude to make the American people believe that anyone who made a whole lot of money was doing something bad.
The job of the government after WWII was to get the people back onto new footing that included telling them that they didn’t have to live like they were poor anymore and that the country is going to go into a period of prosperity and they need to prepare for it by gradually start to spend more on the things they wanted, where they knew they couldn’t before. They needed to be told that the government was going to cut way back to as near a Constitutional government spending as they possibly can in order for American’s to have the money now they had to go without during the war years. But no one said a word.

The Valerie Plame scandal was farcical. The odious msm pounded away at a non-scandal for months resulting in an innocent man, Scooter Libby, being imprisoned. It was the private sector that took off after WWII. The government just kind of took a back seat position to the nation to watch and see what was going to happen. And while they were watching the Communist started digging in for the long haul, always looking for some advantage where they could put in a law here and a law there, all the while making the U.N. in a better and better position with our money and filling the country with spies.

Please correct me if I am wrong here, but if I remember correctly, Nixon’s wiretapping of the DNC headquarters didn’t lead to over 200 deaths. Obama and Holder belong in a cell right next to Blago.

Little David, you are correct. What is ASTOUNDING HERE, is that the REASON for these weapons being allowed into DRUG CARTELS hands, was to prove weapons need to be REGISTERED and kept track of. It’s like trying to ban drinking, by giving DRUNKS BOOZE and the KEYS to a SEMI-TRUCK. ON PURPOSE.
