Obama Blamed US Guns for Mexican Violence – Then He Set Out to Prove Himself Right
In April 2009 Barack Obama traveled to Mexico and blamed US gun sellers for violence south of the border. Obama told his Mexican audience, “This war being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States.” Just to be sure, a few months later the Obama Administration started running their own guns to Mexico, at least 2,000 guns.

“This war is being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States… more than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that lay in our shared border. So we have responsibilities as well.”
Now there is proof that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives discussed using “Fast and Furious” to push for new regulations on gun sales.
CBS News reported:
Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation “Fast and Furious” to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.
In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the “big fish.” But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called “gunwalking,” and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
ATF officials didn’t intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called “Demand Letter 3″. That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or “long guns.” Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.
And as a result of their actions, Border Agent Brian Terry and over 200 Mexicans are dead today – so that the Obama Administration could make a case for new gun regulations.

I can recall the news stories being floated by the Obama administration, allegedly showing military grade heavy caliber automatic weapons, including crew served weapons, that supposedly were getting into Mexico, and they were being blamed on our “lax gun laws”. Apparently, those gun show people and the folks at Bass Pro were smuggling guns to the drug thugs. The stories on the news floated for a couple of weeks and then disappeared. The facts and the timing of these stories fits perfectly with this story.
Go look it up. I ain’t making this up.

This should be the biggest scandal in Presidential history. Members of this administration conspired to arm criminal drug cartels who went on to murder innocent people and federal agents. All of this perpetrated in order to promote a political agenda hell bent on illegally subverting the second amendment constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.
Where is the Republican leadership? Where are the Republican Presidential Candidates? Make the press cover it. They should be pounding away at this at every press event, townhall, campaign stop, television appearance etc.

It’s one year before the election. What’s missing here is the personal connection between BO and the decision to engage in this operation for political purposes. The facts suggest very strongly that such a connection will eventually be found, and with it, grounds for impeachment of the President. Tying down that kind of connection tends to take a lot of time, which is running out on BO’s term.
But if he wins re-election, he very likely will be impeached.

After WWII the people of America had gone through one ration after another until that’s all they could think about was doing without. The Communists took advantage of this previlent attitude to make the American people believe that anyone who made a whole lot of money was doing something bad.
The job of the government after WWII was to get the people back onto new footing that included telling them that they didn’t have to live like they were poor anymore and that the country is going to go into a period of prosperity and they need to prepare for it by gradually start to spend more on the things they wanted, where they knew they couldn’t before. They needed to be told that the government was going to cut way back to as near a Constitutional government spending as they possibly can in order for American’s to have the money now they had to go without during the war years. But no one said a word.

Fast and Furious has never been about catching drug dealers or whatever the Obama Administration’s story line states it is. This was a gun control attempt from the beginning and it back fired. Remember Obama telling one of his liberal constituents not to worry about gun control because his administration is working “under the radar” to get things done. #41 The fact the CBS News has finally addressed the motive behind Fast and Furious speaks volumns about alternative media. It appears that there might actually be a person at CBS who is worried about whether they have any credibility as a news source if they continue to bury this story.
It’s kind of like making a new museum opening your cover story the day after the Hindenburg goes down. Once you pull a blunder like that it’s kind of hard to argue you’re a world class news organization. I think this shows how serious this coverup is, and how big it might get, that CBS News is willing to break with their usual Democrat shilling.

Hell, if AI had only a semblance of being an actual non-political entity they could have already gone after Obama for the assassination of Osama bin Laden, the continuence of Guantanamo, the drone war in Afghanistan, etc. (all violate the Geneva Convention). It’s their selective outrage that strips them of any moral legitimacy.
If you read the 1996 protocols of the Geneva Convention, you realize how worthless the document is. It’s protocols are vague and general to the point of being meaningless. Basically under the GC, any lethal action in a conflict can be construed as a violation and subject to war crimes prosecution. But that’s a hallmark of modern liberals: to put horribly vague laws on the books, to be applied only at their discretion.

Walters interview betrays the Syrian people, the
Syrian opposition and gives stage to a sociopath
["Barbara Walters' irresponsible and disgusting interview of President Bashar al-Assad was a direct betrayal of the people of Syria who have sacrificed everything in hopes of attaining their freedom. ABC's decision to send Walters' to Damascus and continue their tour of the Middle East's leading despots demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of just who these assassins are and what they have done to their own people. Walters' post interview analysis goes as far as giving Assad the perception of being disconnected from what is happening at the hands of his military. Instead of seeing the broad abuse that is taking place hourly in Syria, ABC viewers were subjected to a litany of insane denials. It was as if Assad was laying the groundwork for the day he will face a tribunal in The Hague by separating himself from his actions.
As if Walter's interview was not enough, the U.S. State Department has the unmitigated gall to offensively chime in with Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner stating 'just from what happened or what took place in the interview, he appeared utterly disconnected with the reality that's going on in his country and the brutal repression that's being carried out against the Syrian people.' Toner may as well have been testifying on behalf of Assad. Toner's statement continues to demonstrate this Administration's incomprehensible strategy in dealing with this regime. Its inconsistency of one day calling Assad illegitimate and the next recognizing the validity of his government by returning Ambassador Ford to Damascus is allowing this sociopath to continue his tyranny and reign of terror over the Syrian people.
