Well the frustrating thing is that the media is portraying these folks as the 99%. The reality is that these folks are a bunch of fringe leftists. But that message is getting lost in the noise. When the media only shows the ending of the pepper spray incident at UC Davis, and not the video of the events leading up to it, the public isn’t getting alll of the information.
I think if World War II was to happen today, the media would only show the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, and ignore the period from 1939 to mid-1945.

What happened before the video clip started? If you’d followed the usage of the clips, you’d know that the last time seated, allegedly nonviolent protesters got sprayed, it was because they AGREED to get sprayed.

It’s what they’ve been coached to do. The Ayers/Dohrn/Piven commie crowd has taught them how to get the cameras on them for the little drama they’ve planned for this very moment.
They’re all as phony as their complaints. They should be laughed at and ridiculed. And then the education of the masses should begin. You’d be surprised – no, sickened – to discover how few know how disastrous the Democrat Party members are to the survival of our country. For those who doubt the protesters are out of line with the police, take a look at the end of the video:
At the 1:50 mark you’ll see at the top of the video, a kid sort of lunges toward a cop and his arm flails at him before he’s pushed away. I had to watch it several times, stopping it every few seconds to catch it all.

Yes mcc, it’s all about information control, and whose “truth” makes it out to the people isn’t it? Without control of our schools and our media, the progressive socialist movement in this country would have failed and fallen into obscurity long ago, and Obama would have never had a chance at the Presidency. Between the daily left-wing indoctrination of our children in our public schools, and the socialist propaganda the MSM spews out to millions of viewers every day, they are winning over the minds and the will of the people. Most Americans still think we have good schools, a free press, free speech, and an unrestricted flow of information in this country, but that is far from the truth. Unbiased education and reporting have become things of the past. And, because these changes have happened gradually, most people are completely unaware of them.
I wish I knew what the solution is, but one thing is for sure. Winning this battle and restoring truth and the unbiased flow of information to our society MUST begin with interrupting the dissemination of subversive, left-wing information. If we fail to regain control of our schools and our media, and we can’t interrupt the flow of lies and disinformation that’s invading the minds of our citizenry, we’re fighting a losing battle.
Unfortunately, I don’t see any evidence that anyone is willing to take any significant action yet, do you?. I wonder … just how far are we going to let this go before we finally take action?

I’m a concerned citizen of the city of Oakland, and this park is not far from my home. This was a Thanksgiving Day event at a public park, in broad daylight, largely organized to feed the homeless. It wasn’t even a protest. I can’t think of a more fitting, Christian act of giving in the spirit of Christ than what these folks organized on our national day of Thanks. Tell me HOW Occupy Oakland could have “staged” anything involving the police when there’s no reason for police to even be there, especially in such numbers? With the number of violent crimes occurring in this city on a daily basis, the real injustice that I see here is the mayor and police chief squandering police resources on a Thanksgiving Day gathering in the park when those officers should be preventing murders, rapes and thefts in our community instead.
