Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lectures Barack Obama in the Oval Office on the dangers facing Israel back in May.

Today more Americans prefer Netanyahu over Barack Obama.
The Washington Examiner reported:

President Obama’s hot-miked conversation with French President Nicolas Sarkozy suggested that he is frustrated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — but Americans might be more frustrated with Obama than they are irritated by Netanyahu.

“A poll conducted by the group Greenberg Quinlan Rosner found that 52.3 percent of Americans rate Netanyahu positively, compared to 51.5 percent for Obama,” reports Israel Today Magazine. “The results of the poll were enthusiastically discussed on Israel’s Channel 10 News on Thursday.”

The Washington Examiner called the polling firm to confirm and request the full data, including margin of error, but hasn’t heard back yet. The poll reportedly asked questions of 800 U.S. citizens.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney refused to comment, yesterday, on Sarkozy calling Netanyahu a “liar” and Obama reportedly complaining, “You are fed up with him, but me, I have to deal with him every day.”

Carney did say that “Our relationship with Israel is based on our shared principles, our shared values, and obviously on our mutual interests in terms of security. And we will stick by Israel.”

  1. You got that right! Just review what what Netanyahu has done in his life compared to our pathetic POS and you’ll agree!

  2. 51.5% rate Obama positively. That is truly depressing.

  3. Decent, responsible man, who served in the military, got two degrees from MIT and there is a paper trail to prove it, whose brother gave his life for Israel, and believes in God v. commie liar cokehead dope smoker who may or may not have…(leaving a lot of other things out).

Not much of a question who wins that contest.

  5. He’s going to get re elected anyway. Bibi isn’t running and the Democrat smear machine is in overdrive.

  6. The fact Bibi is only at 52% shows the damage the media and people like Obama have inflicted on Israel’s image in this country.

  7. Racists and zionists!

  8. Of course I like Bibi in his own right; I don’t need to choose him in comparison with another. But to even put BHO in a pairing with Bibi is to give BHO an honor he doesn’t deserve. (Like so many, many undeserved “honors” he’s gotten in his lifetime, from the Nobel Prize, to thugging his way to an IL state senate seat to a federal senate seat, to affirmative action benefits to schools (at which he did poorly which explains why we don’t know his grades, SATs, LSATs; if he did well you can be certain we’d be told his grades as evidence of his “brilliance;” et alia.)

If I have any quibble with Bibi and Israel, it’s this. Stop blustering and start doing. Why give warning to Iran that Israel “might” strike, or that the Muslims in Gaza better clean up their act and stop sending rockets into Israel. Just do what has to be done.

Hasn’t history shown that Muslims will continue to hector until either one or two outcomes prevail. Either Muslims win or they are beaten back. There is no equivocating with Islam and Muslims.

As Pam Geller says, civilization has no meaning to savages. And believing in Islam causes savagery.

  9. A few weeks ago there was a picture comparison of Bibi and obama at 22.
Bibi was a military hero and obama was smoking crack.

  10. Who wouldn’t? You could have the headline read “Americans prefer _________ over Barack Obama” and be just as accurate.

  11. I would prefer a can of tuna fish over Obummer. He, PM Netanyahu is 100x’s the man Obummer is and it is too bad he can’t run for president.

  12. Netanyahu is more American than Obama.

  13. Keep in mind people…

You may have noticed a new trend in polling for everything from the local dog catcher to the presidential race, the samples are getting much much smaller…

They’re polling on average under 500 respondents and placing margins of error at anywhere from +/- 5.0% to 7.5% to deliberately deceive people on President Downgrade’s numbers.

Take a look at Rasmussen, his base samples remain relatively high at anywhere from 1200 to 1800 but everyone else is dropping there samples and increasing the margins of error.

The only reason a polling group artificially lowers its sample size but increases its margin of error is to deliberately skew the outcome.

My guess is that Bibi is likely enjoying much higher support than the above poll indicates (72% more than likely) and President Downgrade’s numbers are likely in the dumps around 39% – 44%.

The lefty media is trying to reinstall their favorite dictator, this time for life…

  14. “51.5% rate Obama positively. That is truly depressing.”

Isn’t that the truth! Where are their brains?

  16. “51.5% rate Obama positively. That is truly depressing.”

If that is an honest number, it’s not depressing. It’s absolutely maddening. Being the leader of the free world usually requires a little, you know, leading…

For crying out loud, he couldn’t even bring himself to take a stand on the pipeline debacle. There’s the stubborn ones who never change their minds, the flip-floppers that only follow the prevailing winds, and we have King Nothing Burger who has made a career out of voting “Present”, and yet there are that many people who still approve of this spineless sack of amphibian fecal matter? It boggles the mind to think that there are that many people out there that could answer the poll when their heads are clearly jammed up their backsides shoulder deep.

  17. In another poll, 51.3% of Americans in OWS camps preferred sniffing the brown stain on their own underwear as opposed to someone elses.

  18. justyoubelieveit, #14

Of course Netanyahu can run for president. We’ll find him a birth certificate the same place they found Obama’s.

  19. re #21

Not sure if I want to add a LOL tag to that or not…

  20. I haven’t notice Netanyahu speaking in one accent to some audiences and another accent to other audiences..

Seems Obama will look you square in the face and stay whatever is blowing in the wind at the time.

Netanyahu has been around longer and fortunately he doesn’t take offense but table turned and if it happen to Obama, investigations and stimulus cut off.,

  21. “Americans Prefer Netanyahu Over Barack Obama”

That’s nothing to be proud of. 52% would probably prefer a paper bag to Obama.

““Our relationship with Israel is based on our shared principles, our shared values, and obviously on our mutual interests in terms of security. And we will stick by Israel.””

    Informed Attribute much?

  22. It’s because Bibi’s not a SCOAMF.

  23. Polls for everything. Now, Netanyahu isn’t running for president in 2012 but if we could get someone like him. WE WIN, OBAMA LOSES.

  24. Bibi, you don’t like him? We have to deal with him for another year.

  25. Netanyahu, here’s a thought, is he calling Obama every day. If you listen to Obama, Netanyahu must be. Really? I do believe Netanyahu has more character than that.

Can you even imagine Bush’s thoughts on this. Shameful representation of America. I have heard some of the leaders downgrading U.S. since Obama came into office. Wish their were more open mics on them. Can you imagine what they are saying about Obama.

  26. #15, You are exactly right. Bibi grew up here, was educated here, and loves his adoptive country. OZero, on the other hand, was born here (as far as we know), educated here and abroad, and hates his country.

  27. Obama had nothing to contribute to the meeting and only used the meeting as an excuse to fire up AF1 for another vacation trip to europe. The great orator does not know when to shut his mouth. Hey, who is up for a trip to Bali.

  28. Obama approval at 51.5% ?

    Indeed.

  29. Agree with bobdog those poll numbers appear real to me. Think Odumbo’s numbers are much lower which would explain the Axlerod pre primary attack on Cain. Sure the temporary basketball court on the aircraft carrier that buried Osama out to sea optics don’t help the current corrup regime either.

  30. People may say they think of Obama favorably but I think his actual popularity must be much lower than 50%. I can’t believe Americans are that stupid. SCOAM(corrupt)F indeed… can we buy some more letters for the thief/liar/racist in-chief?

Poll: Obama disapproval rating on economy at record high

  32. Such a tough choice Bibi or Booboo! Americans have a soft spot for the little guy and right now Israel is the little guy in a sea of enemies. Of course there is the fact that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and America’s best friend.

  33. Foreign policy has more to do with Military and Seals than Obama. But because he is president he will get the accolades

  34. About 47 percent of independents disapprove of the job Mr. Obama is doing for the United States, compared to 81 percent disapproval among Republicans and 21 percent disapproval among Democrats.
    ___________________

he needs to win over the independents and that will be a tough thing to sell. If he goes more moderate which will be seen right through, this time around, maybe some but doubtful.

  35. On foreign policy, Mr. Obama’s ratings are higher. About 45 percent of respondents approve of the job he is doing, compared to 41 percent who disapprove of his foreign policy performance.

On the specific subject of combating terrorism, about 63 percent approve of Mr. Obama’s performance while 28 percent disapprove.

  36. now, that is a CBS POLL. But there are many factors and many other opinions to weigh in.

Obama on Israel of course is one. And tonight in the debates it will focus on Foreign policies.

We will see who will call Obama out and where, tonight.

  37. A better poll on Obama would be how many Americans believe this country is going in the wrong direction — 3/4ths. Who is being polled, what questions are being asked and who is paying to have the poll taken?

  38. Candidates need to take a clue from Bolton. He can definitely find some disapproval for Obama on Foreign matters.

  39. Sandy but remember CBS poll not Rasmussen

This poll was conducted by telephone from November 6-10, 2011 among 1,182 adults nationwide. Phone numbers were dialed from samples of both standard land-line and cell phones. The error due to sampling for results based on the entire sample could be plus or minus three percentage points. The error for subgroups may be higher. This poll release conforms to the Standards of Disclosure of the National Council on Public Polls.

  40. That’s because Bibi has balls and Obama is a big P!

  41. The most interesting part of this is that more Americans prefer a foreign leader over our own. That alone tells me that Barry Soetoro Obama is in deep trouble.

  50. Herman Clinton Cain from his own mouth contradicted himself a handful of times in the first 2-4 days of this scandal – he didn’t need NPR or anyone else to dig this hole for him. He did it the old-fashioned way – he earned it.

  51. Obama has his big plans for the nation of Israel including her territories like Gaza. But Netanyahu has the best interests of his people at heart. I am sure I am speaking correctly when I say we are not willing to go lie down and die because the world hates us. We are not going to give Israel to the Muslims because they are angry. We are not going to convert to Christianity, just because the Christians Stand With US.We are not going to allow Israel to cease from existing because some other nation wants our ancient ruins and holy sites for themselves and their caveman religion, which does not elavate anyones’ soul incidently, it only dehumanizes. We aren’t going to give up our ancient ruins and holy sites even to keep them from being destroyed by the muzzies.
And whatever you do, and whatever you say you need to try to remember; Netanyahu runs our nation, Israel. Not Obama.
Netanyahu who went to M.I.T. and Harvard and was an ‘A’ student; unlike Obama.
You can’t buy a leader like Netanyahu, America.
He is not interested in running America.
He loves his country and his homeland and his people.
It’s kind of like the black thing.
WE can diss him; because he is OURS; but YOU can’t.
And if those people want our to take our country; there is one way they can get it; over our dead bodies.
    Let them BRING it!
And when they are dead, they can’t complain. They got what they came for. We promise to give them the best chance to give their lives for their country. Yes, we will.
Israel is not going to fall on its’ sword for anyone.
Israel IS. And we don’t owe ANYONE an apology for our existence.

  52. I would prefer PeeWee Herman over Baraaaack Obama!! And, for the record, I don’t think too highly of PeeWee Herman.

  53. Netanyaho sounds, and acts, like he cares about his people, and his country. I respect him a great deal. Would that we had a man at our lead with as much integrity and commitment to our countries concerns as Netanyaho has to his own. The choice, if given one, between these two men, would not involve a moments hesitation on my part…. Netanyaho. Netanyaho. Netanyaho.
