Newt Gingrich had a few words of advice for the Occupy Wall Street squatters tonight at the GOP Thanksgiving Family Forum in Des Moines.
“Go get a job, right after you take a bath.”
Newt Gingrich offers advice to the Occupy Wall Street Movement:
All of the occupy movements start with the premise that we all owe them everything. The take over a public park they didn’t pay for; To go nearby to go to bathrooms they didn’t pay for; to beg for food from places they didn’t pay for; to instruct those who go to work to pay the taxes to sustain the bathrooms and to sustain the park, so they can self-righteously proclaim that they are the paradigms of virtue for which we owe everything. Now that is a pretty good symptom of how much the left has collapsed as a moral system in this country and why you need to assert something as simple as saying to them, “Go get a job right after you take a bath.”
And, brush your teeth.
By the way… Last night the Occupy hooligans interrupted Newt at a Harvard function.

The reason none of the other candidates are willing to attack Newt during the debates is that they are scared to death he will so own them in his response that they will be made to look foolish.
Also, Newt has, quite brilliantly in retrospect, been doing nothing but complimenting everyone at the table since the debates began. If you attack someone who has had nothing but nice things to say to you you kind of look like an ass.
IMHO at this point the only one who can stop Newt now is Newt. He has always seemed to struggle when ahead before. Let’s see if he has learned his lesson.

Funny how the OWS crowd means to take down Wallstreet…They should be worried about the real thieves with the IRS and police powers…The government make Wallstreet bankers look like a bunch of pikers. These young people will learn that government will steal their labor, creativity, investments, inheritance and even “sell-out” their savings and the cash in their wallets as they devalue our currency in a desperate bid stay in power. They will find themselves working days, months and years paying the various government pipers while bastards like Obama spend trillions of their hard earned dollars with no more regard than they give to wiping their a$$…Sorry kids, no-one makes you play with Wallstreet…You don’t have that luxury with government.

Newt is stealing from Cain again. Herman had the courage to say it while all the RINOS were hedging their bets. He was the ONLY contendor to come out the very first week with a strong statement, and he remained all alone for over a month. He rose 10 points in the polls for having the guts to attack the slacker mobs. Newt only does it when the OWS failure has become a settled public peception among his liberal friends at the cocktail party.

It’s time for one of these guys to publicly state the truth – that an Occupy member tried to assassinate the President last week. And I don’t want to hear any crap about how he was insane or any of that. Because when Loughner shot Giffords, the Left, AS ONE, went all out to find even the flimsiest of reasons why this was the Right Wing causing him to do this. Remember, the first place the Secret Service went looking for the shooter last week was OccupyDC.

WillofLa commented:
As soon as Newt had a web site for his presidency I started emailing him, and telling him to resign, give all the campaign money back and don’t run for President ever again. I accused him of ruining all the young guns conservatives back in ’94 when he took them all under “his wing” and taught them all how to do business the Washington way. That means he taught them how to make deals with the Democrats based on the fact that sooner or later the Democrats take control of the government again, and you are better off, if you are still there, to have people on the other side who you can “work with” than have enemies on the other side. This is where all the establishment Republican’s came from who were the big spenders, who were “working with” McCain the old head wheeler dealer, and got rich off of the connections they were able to make after Newt was gone.
This is why I hate Newt. He could have undone all the mess the Socialist, and Communists had done, he could have had George Soros arrested and charged with treason, he could have forced the Socialist Democrats under Harry Reid to empeach Clinton, he could have forced Reid to cooporate with everything the conservatives wanted including the balanced budget that was tried in ’96. Newt knows how to do all this stuff, but he likes being invited to Washington parties, the night life in Washington, the dignitaries, the rich people and the help he could get from them, etc., etc..
All this kind of background makes him nothing more than a cross between Bush and McCain wrapped into one. In other words, he’s a disaster talking conservative talk. Oh yeah, he sounds conservative, but like I said he knows how to sound every bit a conservative, but all you have to do is to look at his voting record. Did you know that even Newt wasn’t in office when the ObamaCare bill passed the House, he put it out in ther press that he supported it. At the very beginning of his campaign he said he wouldn’t get rid of all of it because there were parts he likes. Those parts he would keep, and other parts he would throw out. If the entire bill is not killed, it’s still Socialism any way you cut it. Newt is kinda of a Socialist himself, but he is definately a CON man!! He will say whatever he needs to say in order to get whatever he wants you to think about him.
Does he really want to be President? I can tell you he does NOT WANT TO BE PRESIDENT. HE ENJOYS THE RUNNING BECAUSE HE LOVES TO DEBATE SO YOU CAN SEE HOW SMART HE IS. Has he ever identified who in the Congress is a Socialist, the card carrying kind? Has he ever brought up the fact that Obama’s administration is full of Socialist, Marxists, and Communists, and since Newt is a American history expert, and should know that it’s against the law for Communists and Marxists to serve in our government, he has yet to point out that fact, and accuse Obama of being a Marxist. Because once he does he has to commit to getting rid of these people right now, not after he gets elected. We cannot allow any of these people to go back to their tenured jobs at Columbia University so they can continue to undermine our government, and work with other Communists who are still in the government who are working to overthrow the government of the United States, traitor’s all. Has Newt, Cain, Romney, any of the others other than Michele Bachmann who has been exposing the Socialists, been telling the American public who our real enemies are, like the Muslims and Communists?? NO!!
If we want to delay for just four years the takeover of our nation by the Communists and Muslims and Mexican Mafia, elect anyone other than Michele Bachmann, and that’s what you’ll have. If Obama gets re-elected he won’t be getting out of office in 2016, he’ll see to that and that will be the end of America, and the best nation in the world, and a lifestyle that is better than any in the world, and the greatest nation there has ever been.
Black Sabbath commented:

Every city, town and village with an occupied park needs to have an “Friends of the Occupation” Facebook page which acknowledges the names of the government officials who allowed this lawlessness to go on. The mayors, city managers, city council members, Chiefs of Police, Directors of Public Safety, you get the idea. Then we reduce the city park budget to lawn mowing and trash removal until those people are out of office. It is a real shame that in too many towns and cities the authorities didn’t try to remove the occupiers. Then we could have seen who their legal supporters are. If we have linked Facebook pages, then the Director of Public Safety in city X can’t get a job in city Y and escape their lunatic decision to allow occupiers to stay.
My city wants to spent big bucks improving the occupied park. I say “Why?”

Bingo! Thank you, Newt, for summing up precisely how I feel about OWS. The bath/job line is unnecessary and takes away from the better message.
Put another way: Who the F do these people think they are? And shame on the leftist mayors for encouraging and putting up with this nonsense.
I definitely support changing Wall St. and putting an end to crony capitalism and corruption. Unfortunately, this OWS “movement” has nothing to do with achieving those goals.

I live in the Bay area south of Oakland, and from the OWS coverage there and in San Fran I notice the lack of what one would call illegal immigrants in the movement.
Say what you want about illegals, but the ones I see everyday (my neighborhood is has a sizeable population) get up early to work jobs and they work long hours. They came to the US for an opportunity, to work hard, and to step up economically in the world.
Observing Newt’s comments, I have to agree, and the illegals show the OWS types that they should get off their butts and away from the general assemblies, drum circles, and sit-ins and contribute in a vastly more productive way.

Will, I trust you’re a Christian and heard Newt confess during this Family Forum how he’d asked God to take control of his life once he recognized and admitted his need.
Like every one of us, he’s not perfect. But he was not as bad as he was made out to be.
You may have recently learned, as I did, that his visit to the hospital to hand his wife divorce papers was not true. I’m sorry I believed the Left as they worked to destroy him with their lies and smears.
I hope you’ll join me in believing his life has taken a new direction, tempered by the Hand of God. After all, isn’t that what we hope our neighbor sees in us as we find our way back to Him?

That’s why the Left hasn’t allowed them more time during the debates. They direct few questions to them and cut them off when they’re making their points. They’re both wonderfully informed – probably our strongest, most reliable conservatives – who articulate well their positions.
I loved the Cain/Gingrich get-together — I’d love to see just a Bachmann/Santorum discussion of issues so Americans can witness their sanity and put to rest the Left’s lies about them also.

Minor correction. unlike the others Romney never did fade. He has consistently been at either 1st or 2nd place in the polls since the campaign began. I am not thrilled with Romney, but he does seem to have staying power, unlike the others.
