It Begins… Occupy Protester Busted With Handgun & Ammo in Rented Truck

An Ohio man was arrested this weeked at Zuccotti Park with a handgun and 32 rounds of ammunition in a rented truck from North Carolina.
The New York Post reported:
The Occupy Wall Street protest could have been one bad temper away from turning lethal.
Cops busted a man from Youngstown, Ohio this weekend for driving around the OWS protest and Lower Manhattan with an unregistered gun.
Law enforcement said Joshua Fellows, 32, had a .45-calibre handgun and 32 rounds of ammunition in a truck he’d rented in North Carolina.
Fellows was originally busted on Thursday at 12:40 p.m. at Broadway and Exchange Place on a reckless driving charge after cops saw up to 40 people jumping in and out of the Budget rental truck.
They seized the truck and found the gun during a search, and found Fellows Saturday at 9:10 p.m. at West Street and Rector Place.
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, arraigned, and was later released.
In all police arrested five people during the weekend, including Fellows, a protester who threw liquid in a cop’s face and another alleged groper for attacking a woman, cops said today.
On Saturday, Zach Breur, 22, allegedly groped the breasts and buttocks of a 22-year-old woman. He was charged with two counts of forcible touching.
And a homeless man cops id’d as Michael Doe was busted at 5:37 p.m. the same day and charged with criminal mischef after he was spotted tampering with Christmas lights at the park.
The mayhem continued yesterday, when a 52-year-old homeless man was collared after he allegedly threw an unknown liquid into a cop’s face about 11:40 a.m. EMTs flushed the officer’s eyes with water and he did not need to go to the hospital.
About the same time, a woman trying to get into the park carrying sleeping gear was arrested after she refused security guard’s order to keep out.

Just what is the purpose of arresting these nitwits if they will be released under Bloomberg’s catch and release program. He was caught in NYC with a 45 cal. hand gun. A city and a state that has the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Is he out on bail? If so what was the bail? Or do the laws not apply to obama’s OWS criminals?

A liberal with a gun will soon commit a crime if he has not already. Most conservatives have guns and bibles and rarely get anything more than a traffic ticket. Guns are neutral but pople may be use then for offense or defense. Criminals use them for offense, conservative may use them for defense, hunting, or target practice or as part of their job.

Here we have a guy who is from Ohio, rents a truck in NC, comes to NYC an drives reclessly, and has a ,45 ACP 1911 without a permit from anywhere. He is araigned and released. Go figure.

So long as he is otherwise law-abiding, I hesitate to cast stones. If he is behaving lawfully, while protesting, he is free to exercise his 2nd Amendment rights while he exercises his 1st. It might even be that he can defend others against the several rapes and crimes that have been committed by the other lunatics there. It might even teach others there about the constitution that they are otherwise so willfully ignorant about.

I have an idea I saw at Big Government site by Breitbart.
“Protest and Riot or blackmail cities into paying you to not protest and riot” – this is a real instruction for what I thought was impossible. A Conservative anti-Obama app and game on facebook called City Federation.
I’m sure the left will be upset in a big way about this. They said it is in Beta but there now and anything that upsets communists and liberals is something that I will tell everyone about. The reporter make this sound all so scary, but at no point did the reporter or the police indicate that there was any intent for Joshua Fellows to use the gun for illegal purposes.
Does he have a valid permit from another state? Was the gun Loaded? Was it locked in a safety case?
Based on nothing but the fact that he had a gun in his truck, and the writers hysteria, There appears to be a lot of antigun slant to this story, “could have been one bad temper away from turning lethal”
Most truckers have concealed carry permits from other states so that they can protect them selves on the road. 32 rounds of ammunition is little to nothing, basically one box of ammo, or the equivalent of pocket change to most people.
This is why congress needs to pass the federal Concealed Carry Permit Reciprocity act.

I was there with Joshua when those 24 were arrested in Asheville. he actually was not. cute that they’re trying to link him up, especially before the full stories even come out and the media has a chance to embellish the rest. wake up, people.
