Cain Camp: Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel Is Also Involved in Sexual Accuser Attacks(?)

It was Rahmbo.

According to the latest reports, the Cains campaign is also suggesting that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is involved in the sexual accuser attacks.
Kerry Picket at The Washington Times reported:

Herman Cain’s campaign is revealing suspicions about who is behind the story regarding the former unidentified employees who accused Mr. Cain of sexual harassment in the late 1990’s.

According to a source who is friends with the Cain campaign, not only is the Rick Perry campaign involved but also the Mayor of Chicago and former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is likely involved with the sexual harassment accuser attacks. A friend of the Cain campaign believes a National Restaurant Association (NRA) employee out of the Chicago office leaked the story to the Perry campaign via information and influence from Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s office.

According to Politico’s Jonathan Martin, Curt Anderson, the Perry advisor who the Cain campaign is accusing of leaking the damaging information, is denying the charges:

“I’ve known Herman Cain for about 7 years. I was one of several consultants on his Senate race in 2004 and was proud to help him. I’d never heard any of these allegations until I read them in Politico, nor does anything I read in the press change my opinion that Herman is an upstanding man and a gentleman. I have great respect for Herman and his character and I would never speak ill of him, on the record or off the record. That’s true today and it’s not going to change.”

So who leaked it Herb? Let’s see. You’ve accused Perry, romney, and now Rahm. Geesh! This guy Cain is a mess.

  • Perfected democrat

I don’t care if there is some truth to the allegation that Mr. Cain was “guilty” of some kind of potential indiscretion some 15 or more years ago, as long as no one was hurt in some tangible way, other than their feelings… This kind of stuff happens all day and all night by people in high places as well as low places; when you stop to think what so many high fliers got away with, including murder. Mr. Cain may be an imperfect human being, but his alleged sins rate low on the totem in comparison, and long in the past. If Rick Perry was involved in this, then Pamela Geller’s description of him as a “snake” is well deserved; as for Rahm, he has clearly demonstrated that he would sell out Israel for Democratic Party politics, the Democrats have morphed into dedicated ghouls in every sense of the word.

  • Ginger

Perry can fix his border in one year! hehe And he does not even need lava!

Hurry Jim get this video and pick out the mussy parts so you can post this and shove some more of your pick on us!

Good Lord he is going to take a wrecking ball to DC..Excuse me I have to get my barf bag!

You never have posted the video of the Texan governor where he was drunk or high on perscription drugs for his back. Kind of shameful was it not?

  • This has Demorat written all over it ! Gee now Rahm might be involved, I wonder who Rahmbo used to work for ? Oh yeah I remember now the guy in the Whitehouse, wow go figure.
The bulls-eye on Herman’s back is getting bigger.
The Demoncrat lynch mob is getting there rope ready, Boy wouldn’t Robert Byrd be proud of all you Dems, I’m sure he’s looking up at you all right now with a big grin on his face.
Has anyone heard anything from Al and Jesse lately, just wondering.

  • Sandy

Anderson who worked for Cain and now works for Perry said it best. Cain was desperate that this sexual harrassment case not come out when he was running for the Senate but now that he is running for the Presidency — he doesn’t even remember it.

  • Conservative Ken

The Cain camp is in damage control mode right now.
Even if the accusations prove false, pointing their fingers in the wrong direction can be damaging as well. I hope like hell they are not following false leads. They need to get this right.

  • Sandy

I think Cain see bogey men around every corner — except when he looks in the mirror.

  • Ginger

Oh my God he is going to clean house in Washington but yet his house in Texas is as corrupted and dirty as Washington. You know he is really going to fool some people but not half of them in Texas. this guy is so full of it! 🙄

Bosses propositioning and banging their staffs every day is normal in many offices, maybe even Rahm’s…that’s been going on how long? However, there’s no proof, no facts, and one can’t disprove such an allegation. Dirty tricks by the Obama imps and minions would compare with Nixon’s unit -Donald Segretti et al.

This may be tin foil hat territory, but any chance the Cain campaign itself is generating this stuff? Seems insane, but one of their goals is to eliminate Perry, so drumming this up and then smearing the governors staff may be effective.

It has a basis in fact, so it would eventually be revealed, so this is a rather unorthodox way of getting it out there.

Its generating a lot of sympathy for Cain.

Throw Rahm in there and you hit the Trifecta.

Oh good grief, now that Cain says it’s Perry doing him in, suddenly the goofs at Red State don’t think the issue is important anymore, adding, of course, that they still think “the preponderance of evidence” points to the Romney campaign. The bias is stunning at times, at times it really isn’t.

The similarities between Cain in 2012 and Obama in 2008 are striking and go far beyond their shared (sort of) race. Both were basically political novices who just a few years before had been crushed in attempts to win seats in congress. Both are charismatic speakers. Both have massive holes in their foreign policy resume/knowledge. Both came out of crowded fields by appealing to the fringe of their parties and using the partisan media to gain enough traction to become the primary challenger of establishment candidates who no one really loved. Both seem to have a Teflon quality as their many mistakes never seem to stick to their personal appeal.

Now, based on the early returns, it appears as if Cain’s campaign is in the process of sharing an even more important historical commonality with Obama’s miracle run to the nomination. Just as Obama’s campaign was rocked with revelations that his long-time friend and pastor Jeremiah Wright was an anti-American racist loon, Cain’s is now in the process of dealing with allegations that in the 1990’s two women were paid to keep quiet about having been sexually harassed by the candidate.

While the charges were very different in both their nature and their seriousness (for my money Wright was much more of a presidential disqualifier than what we currently know about whatever Cain did), they are remarkably similar in how the media and political partisans are reacting to them as well as their apparent impact on each campaign.

Just a snip of this article.

  • Spider

I haven’t endorsed anybody yet. I will back the Republican nominee, except if its Mittens.

I have a favorite, but I’m not going hog wild trashing and crashing everybody else in his/her name.

    This is the proving grounds.

If you got the brass, show it now.

  • Sparky

Cain needs to demand the NRA to release the documents and the settlement supposedly given the woman who is so uncomfortable with Cain’s gestures.

Force her name to be front and center in the media, and force her to explain her complaint.

Bet this is all smoke and mirrors!

  • Patty

Extraordinary that this nation seems to have taken one to he worst turns in my lifetime. Nothing surprises me about Perry or Emanuel.

What surprises me is that in this new century we have two entirely different Black men. One with goodness and grace. One with all the bells and whistles held up in honor but we see what he is, the covering up of his past associates and no one questioned him or was allowed too.

  • Objective Analysis

Ok. Now the accusations puts Perry back in the limelight. So, let’s keep Romney out of it and get rid of the Rino and Rove while you are at it.

  • Patty

If a Republican had Obama’s ties to Rev. Wright he would have gotten slaughtered by the increasingly partisan mainstream media. Similarly, Cain has already given the media more than enough to “Palinize” him should he be the nominee. His 9-9-9 plan can be easily demonized, his statements about Muslims and Gays will be used to make him seem like an extremist nut, and his own admissions regarding his lack of interest in foreign policy will turn an Obama weakness from 2008 into a decided advantage. All this is already exists before the real pressure of a campaign even begins and Cain’s penchant for “straight talk’ surely comes back to haunt him on multiple occasions.

In short, a Cain/Obama campaign would be fun, but it would also result in a democratic landslide at the polls. The only “conservatives” who would gain from that scenario are those in the media. Unfortunately, they are also the ones controlling a narrative that most of their customers can’t currently see the danger of.

As inequitable as it is, conservatives are simply not allowed to nominate an Obama. We gave up that right when we allowed virtually all of the major communication/education outlets to be taken over by liberals. About the only thing worse than this unfair rule would be to not accept its inescapable reality.

  • Freddy

As each of the ‘witnesses’ turns up in one election campaign or another, one thing becomes clear.

Politicians on all sides are all lining up against Cain.

  • mamagriz68

Hate to say it, but Cain is looking more and more like Bill Clinton to me. I wanted to like him, but he has looked incredibly foolish this week. I don’t think our country can take another president who requires on the job training.

I’m getting confused. How many women claim Herman Cain TOUCHED them??
How many women claimed Bill Clinton touched and/or RAPED them.
How many women have shown up on CNN clutching a cum stained blue dress, with Herms Sperm on it?

I hope that Mr Cain can overcome the smearing of his reputation. However there are a few here that have done nothing but hurl falsehoods at Rick Perry. The democrats here in Texas would have uncovered negative news on Perry long ago. I may not agree with some opinions on here but at the end of the day, I will vote for the republican candidate for president. That being said at #25 Ginger you make some of the most repulsive remarks I have ever read. You seem to be fixated on retire with name calling and looks. • Spider @ #37: Bingo. Right on the money.

As for Rahm, of course he is capable of almost any sort of dirty deed. He has proven that over the years, with his filthy-mouthed threats, bizarre aggressiveness, and go-for-the-jugular style of neutralizing his enemies. Remember how he took great pride in sending a dead fish to a political rival. It’s who he is. What remains to be seen, of course, is proof of his involvement here.

His audience gave him a standing ovation as reported by WAPO reporter Balz who was here.

“The host of the event, however, has denied that Perry had been drinking.

“I can tell you unequivocally he wasn’t drinking at the event and he hadn’t been drinking prior to the event,” Kevin Smith, the executive director of Cornerstone Action, told The Hill.”

Smith said the conservative audience loved the speech giving Perry a standing ovation.
