SHOCKING VDIEO–
From the Al Arabia TV Channel: Egyptian army vehicles ran over Coptic Christian protesters in Cairo yesterday.
The Copts were protesting violence against Christians.
The Associated Press reported on this incident yesterday.
The Christian protesters said their demonstration began as a peaceful attempt to sit in at the television building. But then, they said they came under attack by thugs in plainclothes who rained stones down on them and fired pellets.
“The protest was peaceful. We wanted to hold a sit-in, as usual,” said Essam Khalili, a protester wearing a white shirt with a cross drawn on it. “Thugs attacked us and a military vehicle jumped over a sidewalk and ran over at least 10 people. I saw them.”
Wael Roufail, another protester, corroborated the account.

This is the sad reality for Christians in majority-Muslim nations, and in Communist nations.
Christians in America, by and large, still think they are going to avoid persecution.
Christ said we’d be persecuted (and tortured, and killed).
We have a government comprised of Mao-worshippers and Muslims.
Christians in America are in the frying pan, and most don’t even know it. Yet.
Enough Is Enough commented:
Is anyone really surprised? Under the Sharia Christians have the following options,
1. convert to Islam
2. Be sentenced to death
or
3. Live in dhimmitude
Q. What is dhimmitude?
A. Dhimmitude is a permanent state of second class citizenship in which one agrees to be subjected to constant taxation and humiliation in exchange for being allowed to live. Sound like fun?

Supposedly this was the Arab Spring right? The Media FAWNED over the supposed Arab Spring, because they were covering for their guy OBummer, because they thought, oh this is the way to depose dictators without going to war like Bushie did, he’s so great, and so smooth at handling international affairs. Christians are even more persecuted now under the Muslim Brotherhood and this will only get worse. Egypt is in Chaos and the mainstream hateful media is not reporting it, because it will only make their guy look worse.

This author has warned against violence, and how any ignition of it is going to be used against what is left of a representative Republic and the Conservative Christian Right in this country. The Arizona shootings by lunatic Jared Laughner more than illustrates how desperately the regime and it’s sycophants wanted to pin violence on the Conservatives in America. They have to. You have to criminalize the targeted groups in the minds of the populace before you can empower government to act against them. That is what all the propaganda of calling TEA Party supporters ‘terrorists’ was intended for. I have contended that if the Marxist/Left cannot frame Conservatives with violence, they will either goad violence or start violence themselves.
And that is what this “Day of Rage – Occupy Wall Street” movement is all about; lighting the fuse to a bloodbath.
Look to old Adolph. Soros is behind it all, too, if you’d read my #3 links. Not much time left.

America’s biggest mistake under Bush was not doing with Iraq as we did with Japan. When they drafted their new government on paper, we should have made them separate religion from state.
I knew going in that this would be the result. Islam kills or persecutes non-Muslims. Period.
They don’t do Coexist. An irony of epic dimension lost on the moonbat crowd.

#2 is right – this is exactly how the religion of peace functions. Now that up to a quarter million Chrisitans have been expelled, we are to the point that destrucion of the remaining Christians businesses and homes will be next. And any who choose to stay after that will be executed. Once they have absolute control, resistance is futile…
Moslems have functioned in this fashion from the very beginning, killing jews and Christians back at the very inception of the religion of peace.

After several introductory speakers, the crowd lit up when an Egyptian activist named Mohammed Ezzeldin explained what he saw was the connection between Occupy Wall Street and the protests against Hosni Mubarak.
“I am coming from there — from the Arab Spring. From the Arab Spring to the fall of Wall Street,” Ezzeldin said, his voice echoed by the crowd of thousands. “From Liberation Square to Washington Square, to the fall of Wall Street and market domination, and capitalist domination.”
His passionate speech, which even included a reference to Karl Marx, made a startling comparison between what happened in Egypt earlier this year and what is now happening in the United States.
“Many things separate us,” he said. “National borders. Homeland insecurities. Armies, corporations and police. They have their laws. They have their debts. And we have our revolution. We are the 99 percent.”
In other words, what we see in Cairo is what they want here. Our complete destruction.

sometime back in the 90′s i was reading a “readers digest” article that asked where are the American christians. they detailed the treatment of christians by muslims in the middle east
and china [i believe] and wondered where the outrage was. one of the few things that were detailed that i still remember was the hammering of nails into the heads of live people whose only sin was not being muslim. under sharia, a muslims side of the story trumps the dimmi side so there will never be justice. 20 odd years ago and we haven’t learned.

CNN doesn’t mention any Copts getting run over. I guess they don’t want to introduce any distractions against the narrative they have worked so hard to establish in the Middle East, especially with regard to Obama’s efforts at peace and love.

Oh, and CNN strategically places the story next to one they apparently make up for the occasion about Abbas still seeking statehood, just to reaffirm the narrative they have labored so long to place in your mind about good guys and bad guys in the ME.

Actually, the Iraqis paid attention to our experiment in government, and they decided to avoid the excesses of those who would enforce freedom “from” religion in this country. They wrote their Constitution with the goal of having freedom of religion including freedom of religious expression. Their Constitution acknowledges the religious background of the populace, provides that the laws shall not be inconsistent with the fundamental principles of Islam (defined in other places as being THE SAME as Judaism and Christianity), and provides for individual freedom of religion for all citizens and both sexes.
In the run-up to the decision on the Constitution, the politicians used the same formulation over and over: Iraq for Iraqis, all Iraqis, including Arabs, Kurds, Sunni, Shia, Christians, Jews….” The mix of ethnicities would vary, except that they always included the Jews.
We did not “make” them write their Constitution our way, and they did not adopt Sharia law. This of course does not mean that everything is ok in Iraq, or that terrible things have not, or will not, occur in the future. To me, it merely means that there is hope for the future.
