Yup. They’re just exactly like the tea party.

Here’s is Monday’s police report on #Occupy Portland:

10:30 a.m.: East Precinct officers were leaving the Multnomah County Courthouse when a woman, 39-year-old Angela Hallinger, threw a paintbrush at the officers because they would not stop and look at her art. The paintbrush hit one of the officer’s pants and left paint on them. The subject then picked up the paintbrush and threw it again at them, just missing their heads. Officers were told that a Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney had reported that a woman was flashing her breasts at people. It was determined that it had been Hallinger, and she was arrested and booked in the Multnomah County Detention Center for Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree.

During the same incident, officers found that the porta-potties on the south side of Chapman Square along Southwest Madison Street were overflowing and it appeared raw sewage was running down the sidewalk toward Southwest 3rd Avenue.

Afternoon shift:
On Monday’s afternoon shift, there were multiple calls of various fights/disturbances.

6:35 p.m.: A very intoxicated/high subject was contacted at the corner of Southwest 3rd avenue and Main Street. It appeared that 25-year-old Dylan K. Hunter, was acting in a confusing manner and was on probation for Delivery of a Controlled Substance/ Methamphetamine. He was given a citation and transported to Hooper Detox.

6:45 p.m.: A sergeant took a phone call from a “donor” of two food boxes to Occupy and he wanted to complain that when they dropped off the food, he and his friend saw “buckets of human waste” sitting around the camp. This was very disturbing to the donor and his friend.

7:56 p.m.: Uniform officers responded to a call of a man causing a disturbance near the medical tent of “Camp A” (Lownsdale park). He was reportedly throwing things and knocking down fences. He was wandering around the Veterans Memorial, which is located in the center of the park.

Officers observed 35-year-old Devn Merner acting in a bizarre manner. He had red paint on his feet and torso. Occupy Portland peacekeepers were trying to talk to him while he displayed “fighting poses,” but he refused their contact. Officers requested Project Respond to assist with this contact.

9:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a call regarding “5 subjects beating another subject,” in the center of Chapman Square, by the drinking fountain. Officers could not find any victim or suspect and overheard people say everyone “ran off.” Within a minute or two, district officers received another call of a fight at 3rd Avenue and Yamhill, similar to the one from the park. It appeared related, with the suspects chasing the victim through the blocks. As officers arrived, they were told by witnesses that the group was chasing the victim down Southwest 4th Avenue toward Burnside Street. It was reported as many as “15 street kids with skateboards” were chasing a shirtless subject.

11:59 p.m: A known subject, walked into Central Precinct to report an “assault.” He reported someone had pointed a finger at him, and that was the assault. He made several alleged assault reports during this event. The subject returned 10 minutes later to report a “riot” at Occupy Portland. There was no riot in progress. The subject was told to leave, but initially refused.

And remember: This was just Monday’s report.

Atleast the Portland PD is doing something and reporting it too.
In my city, a parasitic moocher high on something is hanging out high on a ledge ,
and the cops are not even making public that he is performing his bodily functions on top of that wall

Police officers aren’t janitors and don’t work for the Street Department and this has gotten way, way out of hand.

Officers have many duties and last time I checked clearing up poop isn’t one of them. Insanity and it really must stop and every MAYOR needs to clean up the mess. It may not be in his or her job description but neither is allowing this to continue. And remember to Vote out all mayors who have condone this to happen.

Speaking of Tigard tickets, that photo machine on the traffic light by Bridgeport has to be generating some enormous revenue.
Maybe they can loan the PPD some money to cover the overtime caused by the loons in the downtown parks.

Now American’s, you see this stuff. Do you want that sort of thing to be the norm? Do you want these kinds of people to be running everything? If you don’t, then don’t put Obama back into the White House, because he supports these people. As a matter of fact these are the kinds of people he has in his administration, and every government department, and are calling the shots. If he put those people out on the street from his administration they would be doing what these people are doing because they to are a bunch of former Hippies, and 60’s radicals. Those are the people who took over the government, our culture, and our society. They are the kinds of people who were on the street protesting back in the 60’s and 70’s. They stunk, they were unwashed, they were smoking pot, they were being arrested by the cops, they were attacking cops. And then when they got out of college they got jobs from the same kind of people who were already in the government waiting for them. Those are the same commie pink-o’s who are now senior facalty at Columbia University and who are teaching your grandchildren and great grandchildren who are now Occupier’s on Wall Street complaining that they should be “given” the lives they see their grandparents and great grandparents who are running the government. They don’t want to work as hard at overthrowing the government like they saw their grandparents and great grandparents do. They just want the benefits of being the grand children and great grand children of those who did all the hard work of taking over the government, the culture, and the society and change it into what they believe it should be so that they get the benefit without doing the work.

And besides that, these same kids who are the grand kids and great grand children of the Hippies and 60’s radicals that took over the government, made way to much money doing all the hard work of making America the great nation it became from all the other American’s working their butts off to build a nation that was second to none. Of course all the other people who weren’t Hippie’s or 60-70’s radicals were the working class of people who built the bridges, skyscraper’s, fleets of aircraft that were sold all over the world. It was the Hippies and radicals who graduated from college so that they would be the one’s who would take over the government, and not the ordinary patriotic American citizen. Nooooo. They would be telling the hard working patriotic American citizen what to do in order that a new establishment would come up out of the ashes of the old one they replaced.

The Hippies and 60’s-70’s radicals have become the New Establishment replacing the one they protested against while they were smoking pot and sitting in their own urine, and being dragged off the street and from out in front of doorways of businesses. It’s their own grand children and great grand children who are demanding that they stop making so much money and instead give them some so they don’t have to work so hard to have what their grandparents have.

Jim, you have to be making this stuff up, right?

  • Liberal Lefty Portland deserves what they get – not the police however. These snot nosed brats should be arrested and made to clean it up themselves.

Remember, Portland OWS is supported by the governor of Oregon. He’s been there in person. Sounds like aiding and abetting.

U.S. President Barack Obama, sidestepping Republicans in Congress who have thwarted his $447 billion jobs plan, has invoked his executive powers to help homeowners, students and veterans struggling to find work.

Touring the country with the slogan that Americans “can’t wait” for lawmakers to act, he has rolled out a series of initiatives this week and the White House promises a steady stream of more measures for months to come.

On Friday, Obama told federal agencies to streamline their research efforts to get innovative breakthroughs into the marketplace faster, and to create a website aimed at helping firms that want to export.

The administration has declined to predict how many jobs any of these initiatives will create, with the exception of help for veterans, where the goal was a modest 8,000 over three years. Critics say the moves are political gimmickry that lack economic heft and will do very little to boost hiring.

Following are a list of the actions taken so far:

Obama issued a memorandum to instruct federal agencies to speed up public-private research partnerships, help agencies partner with the private sector, and devise a five-year plan to keep closer track of progress and patent creation.

He also issued a second memo to create a new website called BusinessUSA, mainly aimed at small businesses, to aid export-hungry firms find information on federal programs.

Obama wants to double U.S. exports by the end of 2014 and is on track to reach that goal, although to hit it the United States must grow exports by 15 percent annually from now onward.

On October 24 the White House announced steps to make it easier for some homeowners to refinance their mortgages, allowing credit-worthy borrowers to reduce their payments thanks to currently low interest rates. The changes eliminate some fees and increase competition for refinancing business.

The Obama administration also extended the length of time unemployed borrowers can suspend mortgage payments without being foreclosed to 12 months from four months, and simplified the process for distressed borrowers to get help with loans.

On October 25 Obama unveiled a “pay as you earn” proposal to help reduce monthly student loan payments for some college graduates. Accelerating a program that starts in 2014, borrowers from next year will be able to reduce monthly student loan payments to 10 percent of their discretionary income, and debt balances will be forgiven after 20 years of payments.

Current U.S. law allows borrowers to limit their loan payments to 15 percent of discretionary income and forgives all remaining debt after 25 years. The White House says this will help around 1.6 million students.

Obama also used an executive order to allow students to consolidate federal college debt into a single monthly payment, and offer a 0.5 percentage point cut in the monthly interest rate on that debt. Up to six million students could benefit from this initiative.

U.S. students graduating last year had an average debt of $24,000. More than 36 million Americans have federal student loan debt, but only 450,000 have so far taken advantage of the existing income-based repayment program.

Obama rolls more executive office job measures

On October 25 Obama challenged community health centers to hire 8,000 veterans — including former military medics — over the next three years. The White House also asked health centers to start reporting on the number of veterans they employ.

It also announced an initiative to help train veterans for careers as physician assistants, a fast-track to get military medics into the civilian health field. Physician assistants work in emergency care, counseling and follow-up care.

It’s hard to believe that this guy is a genuine Christian. Admittedly I have discomfort in making such an assessment though the axiom of “By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them” may give me an excuse.

Have you ever heard him give his testimony as to his come-to-Jesus moment?

Even testimony aside, actions speak much, much louder than words. Just to choose one example, his kowtowing to Islam says it all, imo.

  • Caroline

goodness gracious, why are you still writing about these boring dopes. I’m tired of it already. I’d rather read stories about anything else. dogs peeing on fire hydrants would be far more interesting.

  • JimBob

But the Governor told these people they were using the park for what it was intended….so all is well.

I’m from the Portland area. I remember going with two friends to see if I could get a glimpse of Barbra Bush who was in town to give a speach while campaigning for Reagan/Bush. We turned a corner and we were shocked at what we saw. Police on horses with riot gear getting ready to throw gas grenades (it was on the news that evening), shot guns pointed in the air to control the crowd. Barbra was lifted by helicopter off of the roof for her safety it was that bad.

The streets were full of these kinds of people! Disrupting and halting traffic, throwing anything they could, at the Benson Hotel. Signs and shouting obsenities. Mobs of them.

When they asked Ronald Reagan why he wasn’t campaigning in Oregon or Washington anymore he said, “we don’t need those states anyway for the trouble it causes local law enforcement.”

    You’ve been able to consolidate, even husband-wife loans, thru’ direct student loans,since Cllinton.;

Unbelievably pathetic when their entire lives they’ve been the beneficiaries of a sewer and water system , a decades-long, social investment, physical investment and cooperation that has keep that massive urban area free of those scourges.
