Karl Rove: Herman Cain Won’t Last (Video)

FOX News analyst and former Bush advisor, Karl Rove, told Sean Hannity tonight that Herman Cain won’t last.

Sean Hannity: Can Herman Cain, in one or two polls he’s above Mitt Romney, can he sustain this momentum that he’s gained in recent weeks?

Karl Rove: We’ll see, but I doubt it.

Hey Karl, you fooking RINO, UP YOURS!

  • Tupa

He’s telling us what he hopes.

  • RKflorida

Now the big time RINO’s come out of the woodwork again. Last time it was to speak against Palin, before that it was Christine O’Donnell. I’m had with this jerk Rove, Krauthammer, and the rest of the beltway “insiders”. All they ever gave us was candidates like McCain and Bob Dole. Now they are desperate for Romney so their applecart is not upset. Go along to get along Mittens, that’s who they want for us “rubes” out here in the rest of the country.

This arrogant ass is so out of touch with the country, he’s forgotten what an American really is.

The neo-Cons are determined to make Romney (the RINO) our POTUS.

The American public can’t catch a break, we are stuck between the Progressive-Socialists and the neo- Cons (between a rock and a hard place). Both want a NWO.

Certainly the rich that run Congress don’t seem to have our backs. How can members of Congress really know how we feel, since their reality is so far removed from what the average American is facing?

I’m thinking he’ll last for four. Maybe eight.

Rove needs to stick a sock in it.

  • John03

It looks to me like the more these experts such as Rove, Krauthammer, Crystal, etc. blow off Cain, the more he rises in the pole. These guys really don’t realize how out of touch they are the majority of the conservative base.

  • Amy

Ditto to all of the above. I am really sick of all of this crap from all of these “smartest in the room” pundits. Cain may be a long shot but a lot of that has to do with the deplorable lack of respect he’s getting from the media. He’s not a quitter and looking at his background, he’s a fighter. I think he’ll duke it out. I just hope that everyone is sending him a few bucks. I’ve been sending him $$ since he first announced and will continue to do so until it is decided. LATER RATHER THAN SOONER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

Rove is pandering to and channeling the Party Elites. He hasn’t a clue what the sentiments of the voters are regarding a preferable candidate.

Reagan was unacceptable to the Party Elites as well, with many GOP pundits rambling on how bad he would be as POTUS during the run-up to the 1980 campaign

Herman Cain: Chairman of the foreign owned Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City from 1995-1996. Just what the country needs is someone who has already openly pledged his allegiance to the globalist bankster take over of the United States.

“A private central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army.” Thomas Jefferson

He is far from a conservative supporting the socialist health care plan in Massachusetts.

So the neocons on this site seem to be eager to support any NWO shill rather than support the olny candidate that is for freedom, liberty and peace.. End the FED.. End the wars.. Ron Paul.. 2012

Everytime progressive Karl Rove criticizes, Mr. Cain gets another donation. Done!
Suggest others do the same. $10, $20, $30, whatever you can do. It all adds up.

  • Molon Labe

Rove haes anyone who isn’t a member of the RINO club. Cain may be the man. Romney and Perry aren’t. The country needs a clear choice between the progressives and conservatives, then the GOP will win. Put up a RINO and the base will stay home just as it did with McCain.

I get a real chuckle with independents. People who have no principles. People who are too stupid to get away from Jerry Springer to inform themselves about the world. People who depend on Rosie O’Donnell to tell them who to vote for based on their clothing or style.

  • atticcellar

Hurry! Send your donations to the FED!!

  • Sandy

Karl Rove makes sense. Who is Herman Cain? What qualifications does he have to run for President? Shouldn’t he spend some time in public office before thinking the world is waiting for another Messiah?

  • I get so sick of Karl Rove spewing out garbage. These kingmakers are such windbags! Even Palin said Cain was the “flavor of the month”, which the media was all to happy to run with it. I also love that the media handed Romney the nomination because Chris Christie endorsed Romney. Imagine that a RINO Republican Governor endorsing another former RINO Republican Governor and the media predicted that Romney would soar in the polls with all the Independents. Unfortunately the Independents didn’t get that memo as Independents are going for Cain.

  • Crackermike

RE:23, Exactly!. Rove and McCain et al would rather have Obama than a true conservative. After all, Rino’s and Progressives are brothers in arms AGAINST the flyover people. I’m fearful the election vote totals will be manipulated to the Progressive/Rino advantage. A conservative will have to win by at least 8-10%, or else the election will be stolen. Damn Rove, McCain, Dole, the Bush’s, et al. Progressives all.

  • atticcellar

The only true conservative.. Father of the Tea Party.. Ron Paul.. 2012

  • formwiz

Rove only noted that Herman has a tough climb ahead of him. He noted Herman should be dividing his time between fund raisers (he’s only got a couple mil) and the first 5 primary states (note he’s in TN and TX while Anita Perry is in SC today).

He also noted the WSJ poll had a sample of only 300+ Republicans and was saying that’s too small a sample to be valid (probably right).

You may not like the man, but his points are more than valid and I have to disagree with Jim on the headline.

  • donh

Romney got ZERO bounce in the polls from Christie throwing his weight around. I smell panic that Romney has to move NH primary forward, bully opinions on eve of debate with some heavy endorsements, and dispatch the beltway boys to put Cain down….Yet none of it is working…… CAIN We Much !

  • progressoverpeace

I’m not a big Cain fan, but Rove ought to have the sense to just shut up, already. He was the “political architect” of the greatest destruction of GOP power at the national level, ever. EVER. When he came to Washington with Bush, the GOP held the House, Senate, and Presidency. When he finally left DC, the GOP held NOTHING, was a political pariah (thanks to shamnesty and McShame as the nominee), and opened the door for the only actual America-hating, marx-loving, non-natural-born-citizen to slime into the Oval Office and wreak the unbelievable destruction on this nation that he has done – along with much that is irreparable, as people will grow to find out.

If Rove had any sense of integrity … ven just a smidgeon … he would just shut up. I don’t know how he looks in the mirror, frankly.

  • Beef

If I hear Hannity call Rove “The Architect” one more time I’m gonna punch the Irish out of him.

Heard Frank Luntz on Hannity’s show today say he’s setting up another Focus Group (sorry don’t remember when it’ll air) and it seems all he’s been hearing is a ton of people eager to talk about how much they love Herman Cain.

  • WillofLa

Karl Rove is one of the biggest establishment Republican’s there are. He is such a shill for big government types that he just can’t see what really needs to be done to get America back to a Constitutional governance. And as a matter of fact he is against getting America back away from the edge for sure, but is for getting it back to the good ‘ol days of when he was raking in the money for being second to the Democrats, as they always take care of their friends and destroy their enemies. Knowing that he has always had “friends” on the left and is a total “gamer”. I can’t stand anyone in government who uses game analygies for running our government and for the things we need to get our government away from being Socialist and towards conservatist. If these people think running this nation is just one big game then that is the way we keep things the way they are.

But, #10 is correct and Rove is one of them. He may not be super rich but he’s still out of touch with the average American. And who is the average American? Usually they are people who will never be rich by their own wit, but are richer than any of these people on the list of America’s richest because they have family, a home(which is different than just having a house), and debt they can live with. They may not like being in debt, but it’s like my wife told me one time about something she heard her mother tell her(and it’s not always a good thing for our household), that you can’t ever have anything nice without being in debt. But it’s the dream of being like the rich which sometimes drives the average American to getting themselves in debt. It’s so they can have a fraction of the kind of life they believe the rich have. It gives the average American soltice to know that it’s okay if they don’t own the whole company, but they know that owning a piece of the company gives them certain rights they wouldn’t have otherwise.

My question to Karl Rove is, what are you doing with all the money you have that is really helping someone who needs the help and would never beg for help from anyone. When was the last time you helped somebody like that, Karl? Have you ever seen anyone while standing in line at the grocery store and watch the look on their face when they have to give some of the food back to the checkout girl because they just don’t have the money? And by looking at this ladies kids you know she really needs that food, and you wish you had the money to help her. But these days we have Food Stamps and it’s easy to get on them if you’re out of work. But what bothers me is, you have to be totally broke before they will give you any assistance. You know there are a lot more people who need just a little help, not some big handout, just a little help during a time between jobs. You know they would really appreciate knowing they won’t have to starve while they are looking for a job, and they won’t have to have their children come up to them and say, “Daddy, I’m hungry.” And you know there’s only a box of crackers in the house, and a dab of butter in the fridge. I’ve been starving like that before and it sure would have been good if I knew I could have gone down to the Food Stamp office and got some Food Stamps for awhile, instead of you having to be Black and living in a ghetto before you can get on assistance.

Screw Rove who is just another Republican hack looking for another big paying job with the government because that’s all he knows. When was the last time you had a real job Karl?

  • mbabbitt

Remember it is Rove who advised Bush to not fight the viscious attacks against his presidency — and we got Obama because of this strategery.

Has he said he did not support an audit on the Fed? Yes?

So, can one of you singing his praises tell me one thing in Herman Cain’s record that tells you how he will govern? Just one thing?

Or haven’t you learned in the last 2 1/2 years that words are cheap?

  • aprilnovember811

#46 I agree with you. People need to step back and not get caught up in emotion. I don’t know what kind of Judges he would appoint. Governor Perry said he would appoint Conservative Pro Life Judges.

I’m going to vote for Rick Perry. Please watch the interview with him on Larry Kudlow that I posted. It’s obvious he doesn’t like debates. I’m not looking for a TV personality, or someone to appear on the debate team. I’m looking for someone with a proven track record. He issued tort reform in Texas. That’s something people forget. He hates the EPA and will do what is necessary to stop them in their tracks. He is a very solid candidate. Maybe he doesn’t enjoy debates or performing in them, but I can overlook that. I feel I can trust him. That’s important.

#46; retire05; Of course he did not support the audit of the fed. He is one of the servants of the elite foreign banksters.. He sold himself to them as surely as did Obama.. Their voting records show who they are. The only candidate who votes for the constitution, freedom, liberty, peace and personal responsibility every time… The true conservative American Patriot.. Ron Paul.. 2012

  • retire05

atticceller, please, don’t preach to me about Ron Paul. I campaigned HARD for Dr. Paul when he first ran. Back when he was still pretty much sane.

His foreign policy is a disaster. He has lied to those of us who campaigned for him by telling us he would only serve two terms. He claims to be against earmarks (pork) but didn’t have any problems taking a LOT of pork for his own district.

So please, tell that crap to someone who doesn’t know Ron Paul, has never campaigned for Ron Paul, has never been in meetings with Ron Paul and never had to deal with him personally. It won’t work on me. He needs to do what he said he was going to do; retire, and go back to riding his bicycle in Lake Jackson and running red lights.

  • retire05

Still waiting for someone to tell me what it is in Herman Cain’s record that lets you know how he will govern.

  • atticcellar

Retire 05.. You lie that Ron Paul said he would not go for ear marks. Please provide the links to prove what you a saying is truth and not hateful lies and twisting of the truth as that is all I hear from you. He is against earmarks but as a representative of Texas, it is his responsibility to get back as much of the money, seized from his constituents, through through heavy handed taxation (for redistribution of wealth) … You, are just another lying hateful neocon..

  • retire05

atticceller, go away. I know Dr. Paul and have worked with him on a number of issues, including veteran’s issues. You need to get your head out of the clouds and let Ron Paul retire where he can have long conversations with Lew Rockwell.

  • atticcellar

I will not go away and neither will Ron Paul.. If you worked for Ron (which I doubt), you have for some reason sold out freedom and liberty. What about Ron’s foreign policy don’t you like that was different from 2008 pray tell, as his policies have not changed.. More lies..

  • LL

I’m not a Rove fan, so I usually discount his opinion. However, the key primaries will break Cain’s momentum if he can’t win them by a margin. So, in that, Rove and I agree.

  • retire05

atticceller, do you think Paul has just been spouting his foreign policy since 2008? How old are you? Paul was my Congressman in the late ’70’s (probably before you were born since Paul now seems to attract the young, stupid college crowd, I know, I was once just like you). He started turning when he hired Lew Rockwell as his chief of staff.

Perhaps you can excuse the racist letters Paul sent out, or the fact that his Ron Paul’s Investment Letter seemed to benefit his and family members, oh, and Lew Rockwell, but I can’t. That is when I dumped him for good.

But hey, if you want to belong to his army of idiots, that’s your business. He ain’t gonna win. And that’s my business.

  • atticcellar

retire05; Furthermore your claim Ron Paul would only run 2 terms is a lie. I have googled this claim and see nowhere where that is what he said.. Shame on you for your lies!

  • atticcellar

“He became the regional vice president of Pillsbury’s Burger King division. This meant starting from the “ground up,” dodging grease fires and broiling hamburgers. Herman was assigned to lead a low performing region of 450 of their restaurants. Within three years, it became the best performing region in the company.”

And we have Godfathers pizza. Yeah. Go ahead and laugh, but this guy took on disasters and turned them around. A good businessman has to have a solid direction and know how to direct his staff to get the best results for the company. In addition, a business is not going to survive very long spending hideous amounts of money and expecting to raise prices for goods and services to make up for the spending. Cain obviously did something right to A) keep the business operating and B) raise profits.
Right now, this country is spending money like a drunken sailor and expecting to make up the difference by taxing/regulating us to death. Just like a business, the United States is not going to survive that.

There is no doubt in my mind Cain loves America.

To me, his career gives a pretty good indication of how he will govern. Give me a good businessman over a career politician any day.

  • atticcellar

You’re wrong.. He sold out to the bankers long ago.. His interest is in serving his NWO masters.. His position at the FED and stance opposing the audit the FED bill prove it.

  • I agree with Rove on this and I don’t always agree with what he says. I am so tired of hearing Cain say 999. augh! And the constant jingle speak he does. It is not presidenrtial imo.

The one candidate that is truly conservative and presidential and has the most experience to be President is iGov. Rick Perry.

  • Mark S.

His answer was… “Yes, go for it, if you think it needs it.”

  • atticcellar

As I suspected.. Herman Cain did not work his way up at burger king.. His first position at burger king was to assess and take over managing the 400 restaurants.. Sorry, no grease fires.. No would you like ketchup with that.. He started out in upper management.. Not the romantic idea you would have us believe. Here;s a wiki link to his career.. He did a great job making a career for himself.. Unfortunately he sold out to the banks’ers .

  • Estragon

No matter how much we dislike Rove, he does have a point. It wasn’t anti-Cain, he was just calling it as he sees the facts. Rove even mentioned how the field changed in 2007-08 to show how fluid the race is.

But Cain only had, as of two weeks ago, only 30 paid staffers divided around six states, including his own staff. He needs to be raising money and building organization in the other states to have a realistic chance at the nomination. If he can do it, in the short time available, it would be a huge testament to his qualification for the big job. It is no small task to put together on short notice a cohesive and viable organization on this scale and fund it entirely by voluntary donations.

Late to the thread but I have to ask Craig’s latest sockpuppet, what has Ron Paul DONE?

Name a major piece of legislation he authored that became law. Detail how he worked it out of committee and actually had a president sign it.

    Just one.

Running down the other candidates gets you nothing. Anybody can take a position, positions are worthless. You have to have a record of actually doing something.

    So what has he DONE?

#93 Melon; Herman Cain was the chairman of the Kansas City “FED”.. This make him not just a banker but a tool of the criminal foreign privately owned monopoly “Federal Reserve Bank”. You do not become chairman of a FED branch unless you pledge lifelong allegiance to the Rothschild’s NWO global elitist who own the FED. You will not be promoted by the Rothschild owned MSM media sources unless you have pledged your allegiance to the FED..

“A private central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army”..Thomas Jefferson

End the FED.. End the wars.. Ron Paul.. 2012

Rove is just as much of a RINO as Herman Cain the former federal reserve chairman, if you people had any idea of what conservatism is, you wouldn’t be listening to either one of these windbags, both are full of crap and are part of the same machine.

give it a rest on Ron Paul, he’s a doofuss who should be in a rest home.
Karl Rove can take his Rino candidates and shove them up his ass.

Lousy emotional reason to vote for a Diversity Czar who thinks there was no housing bubble as late as 2005 and that the Federal Reserve does not rate an AUDIT, which would be its VERY FIRST ONE EVER – a Robert Dole-amite.

I didn’t vote in 2008 based on race, color or gender, and I won’t be bullied into it, this time, either.

And that ugly stunt of his trying to lambast Perry for a hunting lease that the VERY FIRST TIME PERRY SAW IT, he called his dad and asked him to paint over the rock that was there for DECADES BEFORE Perry’s father ever leased it out.

It was promptly painted and laid over – in 1983!!!

And I’ve done nothing but fight with friends and family against Perry since he announced – since I am from Texas and feel like I know how “Conservative” or RINO he is! This is NOT about Perry – it is about a RACE CARD from 1983 that doesn’t belong on Perry’s shoulders by ANY measure of assessment. PLAYED BY A SO-CALLED GOP CANDIDATE???

I will not vote for Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton tactics.

Calling CAIN a GOP is like calling Occupy Wall Street a TEA PARTY.

But Cain came roaring out of the box like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and Louis Farakhan. He showed his Liberal Agenda to me! I don’t care what Rove or PC re “Blackness” says, nobody is going to stampede me like a thoughtless DIM MARXIST into voting for someone over any issue BUT THE POLITICAL ISSUES the candidate stands for.

Herman Cain did NOT say he opposed auditing the FED, he said it wasn’t a priority at this time but he would not block an audit. Get the wax out of your ears. He believes jobs are more important as is getting the tax code in order.

When RINO Romney talks about priorities he sounds like BHO…depends on the audience. How many times has he said “it’s my first priority”; just how many “firsts” can there be?! Sick of the fake condecending smile of his, too.

One of the reasons people are rallying around Mr. Cain is precisely because he isn’t a politician. We are SICK of the same ol same ol crap coming out of Washington!

    Cellar dweller:

The ignorant moron brays again. From someone so dull he doesn’t kinow who authored the Constsitution we all know you really understand something like the Fed qand how its members are selected. Would you stop with your anti semtic ranting, its sooo gay. If you had half a brain you’d might know what the really powerful foreign banks are instead of shouting appartchek slogans.

Quotes mean little without the proper context and as you have demonstrated you tried to use Washington to imply he would treat the criminals in Tehran in the same fashion as our allies in London.

Just because time after time you have demonstrated a unique ability to equate evil with good, you demonstrate a remarkable ability to define the word ignorant.

Its really hard to ridicule sufficiently the observations of someone who devoted his life to studying Tolkein mythology and obtained a PhD in it by writting how it impacted on oyster surprise.

why does any rational person waste time on rove or hannity? show business rhinos trying to tell us what to do, how to think so they can make some $$s. just like maher and msnbc make money off of libs so does our side off of us. read many sources, investigate and listen to the real words not the twists of radio or tv.

real conservatives need to wake up and see we have nobody to reprresent us. cain is part of the way there and so is perry.

romney and huntsman are just obama and biden lite.
