Iranian hardliner students rallied today in support of the “anti-capitalist” Occupy Wall Street protests.
The students chanted slogans like “Down with America” and “Down with Israel.”
Fars News reported:

Students of state and private universities from across Tehran gathered in front of the Swiss Embassy – which hosts the US interests section in Iran – to voice support for Wall Street protests that have now spread across the US.

The students voiced support for anti-capitalism protests throughout the US, and condemned the brutal clampdown on peaceful demonstrations by the US police.

The students chanted slogans like “Down with America”, “Down with Israel” and carried placards in support of the movement.

Protests against corporate greed and the capitalist system in the US are still on the increase after a month since a few hundred started a rally in Wall Street New York.

Demonstrations are expected to continue in coming days as more groups hold organizational meetings and air their concerns on websites and through streaming video.

Similar protests have been staged in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street Movement in more than 100 cities across the US, including Chicago, Boston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Mo., and Los Angeles.
