California Bans Tanning Bed Use By Minors… But Abortions Are OK

California Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill today that bans tanning bed use by minors.
Reuters reported, via Free Republic:

Minors in the state of California will no longer be allowed to use tanning beds after Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill on Sunday prohibiting anyone under the age of 18 from using ultraviolet tanning devices.

California is the first state in the nation to ban minors from using tanning beds, legislators said.

Previously, California had banned minors under the age of 14 from using tanning beds, but allowed those between 14 and 18 years of age to use tanning beds with parental consent.

The bill was part of a cluster of legislation signed on Sunday designed to “improve the health and well-being of Calfornians,” according to a statement from the Governor’s office.

In 1997 a California court overturned a state law that required girls get the approval of a parent or judge before having an abortion.

The largest public sector union is the teachers union. Teachers ALL have the desire to inflict their values and beliefs, including their marxist labor union tendencies, onto all of their students. Please remember that the first tax levied by the regime was on tanning salons. This was a racist test case against the white population (those who mainly frequent tanning salons) to see what kind of reaction there would be. No one challenged the tax, so the regime knew it could proceed with its racist, anti-white agenda. Now this ban in CA will put another regulation on a predominantly white business.

This will probably kill the tanning industry. Suspect that indestructable teens who have no fear of skin cancers are a big part of the repeat business. Just another attack on small business, regardless about how you feel about the tanning industry, this is an atack on our freedom.

Governor Retread is just doing what he has done in California since the 70′s. I remember when he would not spray the med flies and had to quarantine a big part of the citrus crop.
