I remember exactly when I first saw Sarah Palin. It was before anyone outside of Alaska new who she was. She was on an LA news broadcast and my immediate reaction to her was that she was absolutely genuine. Not like any politician I had ever seen before. I too, did not know who this guy was. It always interests me when actors say things and people pay attention. If you really think about it, what is an actor? Someone who pretends to be someone else for money. Why is this a credible basis for influencing public opinion?
One could make the assertion that the one thing actors are really good at is lying convincingly. They really don’t have any other skills and they certainly don’t produce anything other than entertainment. Why do we listen to their opinions?
