According to the Constitution the Sheriff is the one that can do this. They have more power than any other law enforcement agency. This is very good news!

What has Sheriff Dip$h1t’s contribution been towards implementing FnF , for Holder+Husein ?
I feel somehow that that POS was a playa in the DOJ’s killing spree. The way he went almost ballistic and confrontational after Gifford’s shooting in which a judge was murdered, should have been investigated. He was scared something might get exposed and he provided too much media distraction at that time .

Tzapp! Ouch! That one’s gonna sting.

I do want to chime in with the fact that I am really really REALLY reluctant to go down the road of prosecuting high level government officials unless you really really REALLY have them dead to rights. I’m not going to engage back and forth here as to whether Holder merits actual criminal prosecution, others may do as they please.

But one immense failure I see among both politicians and peanut-gallery pundits is the failure to see how what you do today can be used against you tomorrow. (look at today’s Senate action by Democrats using a majority to change the rules. Gee, ya THINK a future GOP may be all too happy to reurn the favor?) Republicans will likely be running some big shows a year from January. Do we really want to set up prosecutorial precedents? Plus, we REALLY are chasing good people out of government with an ever expanding criminal code, and a political knife-fight culture willing to use it. Yep, your chance to make $200,000 a year, and spend twice that trying to keep out of jail. Woo hoo, what an opportunity!! But, then again, since there are so few lawyers on the left, maybe I shouldn’t worry too much about that. *ahem*

I do not like Eric Holder, or his boss. Let’s drive them from office. But if we go from the political realm to the criminal, I just think we may rue the day in all sorts of ways.

  • Taqiyyotomist

I’m anxious to see this. Why aren’t they asking for accessory to murder charges in the deaths that have already occurred? Thank God for these wonderful, brave men. This will not go unpunished. Obama knows all about this, and he is not above the law, even though he thinks he is.
These MEN can show the disingenuous cowards in the Republican Party how to stand up and fight like men.

  • Patty

This is one of the most unconcerned, indignant, disrespectful and crime ridden administration this nation has ever seen. None of us were alive if there were others.

It is like they are waiting for the last domino to fall. Waiting for the total destruction of America’s standing in the World, on purpose. The last straw is never there because they have another handful and after that they come up with even more. One disaster after the other. One hypocrisy, lie a pattern of failures, miscalculations and as each day goes by more cover up and more excuses why they are not at fault.

Well, some heroes are coming to lock the SOB’s up. Heads will roll.

  • aprilnovember811

    Andrew X,
This was never intended to stop drug cartels. This was to frame Americans and kill Americans. If that doesn’t rate as a crime with you, what does? When you provide a weapon to someone knowing it will be used in the commission of a crime, that makes you an accessory.
Congressman Issa, and Senator Grassley, said this was sinister. This was not policy, or bad policy, it was a crime. Being driven from office is unconscionable. It was an act of treason against the US.
I guess I’m just astounded that you don’t see the seriousness of this. In addition to the Border Agent, and the Ice Agent, there are 200 dead Mexican citizens. They want those responsible extradited. If we have an extradition treaty with Mexico, they should be. This is not a witch hunt. People did some horrible things here.
This is who Obama is working for. Was it also to arm his private army against citizens.

  • Patty

Absolutely, this administration is accessories to murder.

  • Patty

Actually, I believe with all my heart that Obama and Holder HATE COPS.

I, also, believe that the Acted Stupidly comment during Gates arrest by Obama was a clear and striking image into Obama’s radical opinions of Cops.

The main man to carry out Obama’s plan to do Police Officers in was Holder and they were hoping Officers would be implicated in something criminal. Not sure how or what was to happen but no matter, now, the police are going to enforce the law and if that means Holder and Obama are indicted they don’t care. Imagine Sheriffs may bust this thing wide open. The very people Obama hates.

  • Molon Labe

Any elected official should be accountable for his actions. He should not be seen to be tainted. Holder’s activities more than merit an investigation.

To say otherwise is to excuse the corrupt and unacceptable.

  • Patty

You know the expression, Cops are dumb….Sorry, police aren’t dumb. And many have more education then the leaders of this nation.

When one of their own, a brother, is killed, THEY WILL GO TO THEIR DEATH LOCKING UP THE PERPETRATOR OF THE CRIME.

Even if that mean the President or other accomplices of the crime.

  • GrayRider

    Solidarity, baby!!!

  • Patty

Those officers that work the streets and fight crime each day have some very mixed emotions about Obama.

And if memory serves, many will not forget this or the comment from Obama “POLICE ACTED STUPIDLY” that was their last straw.

  • regularguy

Resignation will suffice, but I’d rather see the SOB in prison garb and handcuffs at his initial appearance.

#23 april november – this goes way beyond “framing Americans”. This was a concerted effort to undermine our second amendment rights….

Shortly after Obama took office, the Obama administration advanced the theory that American “assault” weapons were fueling the drug violence in Mexico. Many experts immediately disputed that accusation, and called it a baseless, citing statistics indicating that the vast majority of the weapons being recovered were coming from overseas. The story was quietly dropped, but shortly thereafter, this little tidbit made the news, via Fox News:

On March 30, the 30th anniversary of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan, Jim Brady, who sustained a debilitating head wound in the attack, and his wife, Sarah, came to Capitol Hill to push for a ban on the controversial “large magazines.” Brady, for whom the law requiring background checks on handgun purchasers is named, then met with White House press secretary Jay Carney. During the meeting, President Obama dropped in and, according to Sarah Brady, brought up the issue of gun control, “to fill us in that it was very much on his agenda,” she said.

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Brady recalled the president telling them. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

Months later, we find out that this administration has been not only allowing, but ENCOURAGING large scale purchases of such weapons by Mexican interests, and allowing them to be transported across the border, with absolutely NO procedure in place to track them or recover them. They claim they were trying to uncover the distribution channels in Mexico, but not only did they lack the authority to do so, they failed to provide the manpower or funds to do it. Therefore, we must conclude that either A) they were completely inept, or B) there was another reason for allowing these weapons to “walk”.

In light of this administration’s stated plans for an “under the radar” push for gun control, it seems pretty apparent that this was not a case of incompetence … this was an all out attempt to pad the statistics and advance their agenda. When the facts failed to support their allegations, they simply did whatever was necessary to change those facts. Had this scandal gone undiscovered, I feel pretty confident that we would have seen this administration make renewed allegations of cross border gun trafficking, and this time, they would have been able to back up those allegations with video tape and statistics, making their plan for an all-out assault weapon ban a slam dunk.

We are dealing with some very arrogant, and very evil people here. The sooner people realize that, the better.

  • The wave of anti Obama hatred grows ever larger.

Well, if guns “accidentally” get in the hands of Mexican criminals who might happen to kill a political opponent, it would be all the bad bad Mexicans’ fault. If they only had an open border so they could come here freely and do the jobs Americans won’t do they wouldn’t have to shoot guns ‘n stuff…. /sarc

In any murder case, the weapon is evidence. I have read that more F & F weapons have been found at crime scenes in Arizona, and Texas. Since the sale of the weapon is part of the investigative process in a murder, these sheriff’s should turn those murders over to a friendly prosecuting attorney who seeks a court order requiring Eric Holder to testify as to the sale of the weapon that was used in the committion of a murder in Arizona.

The case would be heard by a local criminal courts judge, not a federal judge. If done in Texas, it would be held in the court of an elected judge, who was not appointed by some friendly Democrat that would cover for the administration. Most judges in Texas understand that if they don’t rule according to the law, they are out of a job next election if that ruling comes to light.

The fact that the Sheriff’s are only applying this to future crimes bothers me. It should be done on all crimes where it is suspected that F & F weapons were used. I would love to see Eric Hold named as an accessory to murder, in a dozen different cases. Eventually, one would stick.

watch out sheriffs…holder will be sending his people and the mooslum brotherhood to speak with you…

Case is not closed. Holder Will be toast, eventually. If he quits, then he can be investigated and properly charged with the crimes he has allegedly committed. Wheels turn slow in Washington. Look at how long it took to get Cong. Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana, to trial after 60K was found in his freezer.

Let it drag out into next Summer, in the middle of the ’12 campaign. Good theater for Barry’s reelection. We are seeing resignations starting to try and rug other scandals, but it is only a delaying tactic. There is more stuff to come out here, to be sure.

This administration is so corrupt and moraly bankrupt that the people will win out. It will be painful, but we must perservere. They will, in the end not be as all powerful as they think they are. Actions have consequences and the power is starting to slip from Barrry’s nicotine stained Moslem hands already…

It’s conspiracy with clear intent to produce an outcome of harm and murder, international border geopolitical ramifications pitting the US against Mexico, with deaths already known to be past 200 and rising. These guns are aimed at our law enforcement officers from coast to coast now, thanks to our OWN government officials. Then Holder’s Justice Department harrasses law enforcement for doing ther jobs. WHat happens the day our good officers say, “The HELL with this! I QUIT!” It is a fundamental attack on many levels.

This isn’t just some politics. If it isn’t pursued properly upholding Rule of Law, then we are ALL screwed. It’s criminal and vicious.

The cold-bloodedness of the calculations should have the hair rising on every citizen’s neck. What kind of PEOPLE are THAT devoid of humanity who had no problems concocting this atrocity? This administration is trying to push the notion that an earlier program during the Bush administration, “Operation Wide Receiver” was the same as “Fast and Furious”. Indeed, today’s San Diego Union Tribune carried a Washington Post article that makes this claim. There was a huge difference between the two programs, namely in that the Bush program included an (unsuccessful) attempt to follow the weapons, and was terminated after about a year for lack of success.

I’ve been waiting and waiting to hear how the weapons in “Fast & Furious” were really being traced after all, but that isn’t the story at all. There was no attempt to follow the weapons.

  • Pingback: NoisyRoom.net » Blog Archive » 9 US Sheriffs Announce Press Conference to Call for Holder’s Resignation()

  • WillofLa

Well, did anyone hear his comments about Fast and Furious aired yesterday, I suppose from Wed.? He claimed he knew nothing about it, and he said if Holder says he didn’t learn about it before a couple of weeks ago, he has total confidence in Holder’s responce is the truth. Well, in my way of thinking, Obama just told a lie in public to that reporter. And he told another lie when he claimed Holder didn’t know about it and just found out. But Holder himself has been caught at a lie by the Congressional Investigation Committee already by Issa asking him about reports Holder was in conference with BATF on Fast and Furious during when it was being put together. So he’s already committed contempt of Congress by lying to the committee.

I can’t imagine that Obama and Holder are going to be able to hold out until after November of next year to see if Obama is going to remain President and I’m sure Obama will keep Holder as Attorney General. But then again on the other hand, Holder might want to get Holder out of the spot light and back out into private life so the Feds can’t charge a civilian. Yeah, well, if that is the law, then I think that law needs to be changed so that we can go after former politician’s who are no longer in the government. So what is the deal, once they are out of the government, whatever they do there can’t follow them into private life since it didn’t happen in private life?

I really don’t believe Obama or Holder believe the Republican’s will ever be able to get Fast and Furious to go to court where they would have to show up and defend themselves. No official has ever had to fess up on what it is that they have done no matter what or how bad it is that they’ve done. Look at Barney Frank. Look at his involvement with Freddie/Fannie and what he did when he, Dodd, Pelosi, Reid, Clinton and the rest have not had to answer for a single thing, the serious crimes they’ve committed while in office. Barney Frank was put back in charge of the very same thing he was doing before the October Surprise the Democrats cooked up in ’08. Obama has committed numerous crimes while in office and no one has even lifted a finger to prosecute him for a single crime, let alone all the crimes he’s committed.

  • Molon Labe

With all due respect you are wrong. Remember Nixon? I think he was held to account. The question is whether the GOP has the balls to persue this when they have a majority.

  • WillofLa

Holder knows all about Fast and Furious. He guided the guy who ran the BATF and the woman who was the one that coordinated the purchase of the guns. See, you have to look at Fast and Furious like you are looking at a flow chart with Obama at the top, Holder right under him, and the head of the BATF and the woman who bought the guns under Holder, like that. You know. And you could fill in what each one’s relationship was to the BATF, the Mexican officials, the dope dealers, and the men who bought the guns, and the men who were picking up the guns on the border and taking them into Mexico. It was at that point where the BATF lost track of them. They were supposed to follow them all the way to where they were handed over to whoever they were going to, but the Mexican’s were to slick for the BATF, and the guns were lost until the agent was killed with some of them.

No, Holder and Obama are in Fast and Furious up to their eye balls. So if Republican’s are voting along with Reid on Senate rules that will stop Republican’s from being able to stop anything, and Republican’s seemed to not be able to do anything about it, what will they be able to do about prosecuting Obama and Holder with selling guns to the Mexican Drug Cartel? Will they blow this and Obama and Holder will be able to get away with this just like they have gotten away with all the other crimes they’ve been able to commit since God only knows!!

  • WillofLa

When I heard that the Republican’s voted for the rule change with Reid yesterday, I have lost all confidence in them…..again. And to see to it that I can have any confidence in them in bringing the people who have been responsible for seriously damaging this nation maybe beyond repair, to follow up on prosecuting big wig politician’s in the Democrat leadership? I just don’t believe Republican’s have the guts. And if Boehner and McConnell don’t give leadership in bringing Obama and Holder to justice, then what are we going to be able to do to rectify the damage done by Obama and Holder if we take back the government in 2012? What repairs would they be willing to do if they can’t go after Pelosi, Feinstein, Waters, or anyone who has a reputation that would be destroyed if it came out they were involved in a high level White collar crime? That is why these people won’t go after somebody like Holder is how their careers would be destroyed. And Republican’s are also afraid of what Democrats would do to them if they get back in power, if Republican’s have made things hard for them while Democrats were out of control. It’s been that way for years. Fear on the part of the Republican’s. Democrats aren’t afraid to do anything. Hell, they’ve taken over the country, illegally and they don’t care if they are caught committing a crime or not because they know the Republican’s won’t do anything about it.
