Barack Obama welcomed the Green Bay Packers to the White House in August.
Wisconsin NBC affiliates decided to pass on Obama’s speech tomorrow night. They will air the Packers pre-game show instead.
The Examiner reported:
He probably didn’t know it at the time, but when President Obama greeted Green Bay Packers quarterback (and California Golden Bears alum) Aaron Rodgers at the White House this August, he was shaking hand with the competition. And not because Obama is a Chicago Bears fan.
The NBC affiliate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, WTMJ TV announced yesterday they will not be airing Obama’s jobs speech at 7 PM EST Thursday night. instead they are opting for their own pre-game coverage of the Packers Saints game scheduled to kick off at 8 PM. Green Bay’s NBC affiliate, NBC 26, will also go with the Packers pre-game show over Obama.

Tipping point reached. Obama has the mantle of incompetence. Even if the economy were to recover at this point, he would not get credit. It’s like the guy that gets caught cheating for the 10th time. All the flowers and candy in the world won’t make his wife ever trust him again.
Winston commented:
good…. Obama is a liar and a phony person.

That WI TV Station has its priorities in order.
The pre-game is far more important than the steaming pile of male bovine feces the failed, divisive kleptocrat will fling at the telprompter.
rbosque commented:
I’d rather watch the Packers than Obama vomiting on his shoes and telepromter.

the “won” has lost his golden touch. the left is becoming unhinged because zero is exposed for the fraud that he is. 2012 can’t get here soon enough.

Heh.
If the stations had run Obama, there could have been serious repercussions. And the station management knows that.

Networks nationwide should follow the Wisconsin TV stations’ lead! I don’t like football I prefer hockey), but I’d much rather watch it instead of yet another droning, blaming, deflecting, hectoring, nonsensical lecture from Captain WTF.
rbosque commented:
They can put it on Algore’s Current channel. Only the pukes who watch that channel will take him seriously.

Mr Hoft,
The statement from the Examiner is misleading at best (or as we say in Norman, untrue). Shame on them for fudging the truth. Here is the statement posted on WTMJ’s website in Milwaukee:
‘First, the statement that WTMJ-TV “isn’t carrying the president” is simply untrue. We are carrying the president on channel 4.2, which is also available on Time Warner cable channel 999. The Packers programming will be carried on channel 4.1 (Time Warner channel 4 and 1004). One of the advantages of the switch to digital TV a few years ago is the ability to program multiple channels, which allows us to offer both programs during this week’s conflict.’
Sir, thank you for updating your blog frequently during the day but please in the future check to see that the sources you quote have accurate information. It hurts our conservative cause when our media outlets make untrue claims.
If I wanted to be lied to, I’d read MMfA instead of Gateway pundit.
