Teamster President Jimmy Hoffa once again defended his comments during a Washington interview.
The Blaze reported:

Hoffa, who repeatedly defended his comments this week, told local media outlets he is still “very proud of what [he] said” on Labor Day.

“Anytime someone tries to take away the rights of Americans for collective bargaining, anyone trying to take away Social Security, I’ll call them names anytime I want,” Hoffa told KOMO News.

Meanwhile, Leon Donahue was one of those on hand nearby from the Washington Tea Party Movement to protest Hoffa.

Tea Party members waved American flags and held signs proclaiming their collective “SOB” title.

“I’m opposed to a man who is supposed to be dignified and so powerful calling us sons of bitches,” Donahue said.

Obama’s Job-Killing NLRB Strikes Again! ALL* Employers Must Post Union Notices
    by LaborUnionReport

When the National Association of Manufacturers polled around 1,000 of its members in July about the National Labor Relations Board’s case to shut down Boeing’s South Carolina plant, costing up to 5,000 potential jobs, the clear majority indicated the union-backed case likely will, or has already, had a negative effect on America’s job creation.

Standing by his words. Fine! They will come back to bite him. A promise in the next election cycle.

  • Patty

As reported by the Wall Street Journal:

Some 60% said the government’s case already has—or could—hurt hiring. Sixty-nine percent said the case would damage job growth. And 49% said capital expenditure plans “have been or may be impacted by the NLRB’s complaint.” Around 1,000 of the association’s 11,000 members contributed to the survey.

Despite this, however, Barack Obama’s union appointees at the National Labor Relations Board are continuing their assault on America’s job creators with yet another attempt at doing union bosses’ bidding by skirting Congress to require all employers covered by the National Labor Relations Act to post union notices in the workplace to advise employees of their ability to unionize their company.

The National Labor Relations Board has issued a Final Rule that will require employers to notify employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act as of November 14, 2011.

Private-sector employers (including labor organizations) whose workplaces fall under the National Labor Relations Act will be required to post the employee rights notice where other workplace notices are typically posted. Also, employers who customarily post notices to employees regarding personnel rules or policies on an internet or intranet site will be required to post the Board’s notice on those sites. Copies of the notice will be available from the Agency’s regional offices, and it may also be downloaded from the NLRB website.

The notice, which is similar to one required by the U.S. Department of Labor for federal contractors, states that employees have the right to act together to improve wages and working conditions, to form, join and assist a union, to bargain collectively with their employer, and to refrain from any of these activities. It provides examples of unlawful employer and union conduct and instructs employees how to contact the NLRB with questions or complaints.

With the exception of airlines and railroads, which fall under the Railway Labor Act and a few other exceptions, most private sector employers (with two or more employees) fall under the jurisdiction of the National Labor Relations Act, which means nearly all private sector employers will have to post notices by November 14th, or be charged with an unfair labor practice.

According to Inside the Beltway from Nixon Peabody:

Failure to post the Notice will constitute an unfair labor practice which may be filed with the NLRB by any person. Further, the failure to post the Notice will be deemed evidence of anti-union animus or motivation where employers are alleged to have interfered, restrained, or coerced or otherwise discriminated against employees to encourage or discourage union membership or activity.

read more on site. Rather disgusting. South Carolina will definitely be a VERY RED STATE come November ’12

That POS SOB, Hoffa, is here to pressure Fred Meyer (Kroger) to pay out more in health care benefits (http://www.komonews.com/news/local/129568108.html). He’s also probably here to defend his union thugs in their battle against thugs of another union over the shipyards here. His thugs damaged a cargo train, spilled grain, busted windows and held 6 guards hostage for several hours.

He, like his union goon pal, Trumka, are Comrade Barry’s henchmen, brownshirt knuckle-breakers. Hoffa said it himself, when he shouted out to Barry that his union goons are an “army”, ready to do the regime’s bidding. We saw what union thugs, together with their leftist and anarchist bullies did in Wisconsin. This is just what they want to do across the nation.

Together with the giant push for race riots by the race-baiters and another giant push for shariah by the islamofascists to infiltrate our justice system, and it’s one helluva massive Cloward-Piven nudge to destroy our society, shred our Constitution, dismantle our freedoms, and install tyranny and a totalitarian nightmare. No wonder they call the Tea Party “terrorists” and “SOBs”. We stand firmly in their path for everything they want to destroy.

  • just look at those violent tea party types.

  • ScottJ

    “SOBs United.” I like it.

We outnumber them. And they know it.

I don;t think these acts of union provocation all of a sudden are a coincidence. They seem to be a coordinated strategy coming from Team Obama. This is his election strategy. Create an atmosphere of violence and then hope for something he can pin on the tea party.

That ought to make Junior Hoffa quake in his union boots!!!

You seem to have missed the point #14. Yes, look at them. These are older Americans that have the courage to stand up to THUGS. Could be that many of the others could not stand up long enough to come out? Yes, look at them. These people are who the THUGS are calling the troublemakers and ugly names. Many of those ‘old, pasty white SOBs” have probably never called anyone those ugly names. There are millions still at home just like them.

Who has the courage here? The Thugmaster or those old, pasty white SOBs?

When you have the presidents of the SEIU and Teamsters blatantly and loudly advocating “there needs to be blood in the streets” and “we need to take them out”–and the President of the United States is SILENT and moreover, compliments Hoffa.

I might add that beyond the silence from the White House—there is also deafening silence from the MAJORITY in the state and federal legislators….anyone notice that?

The failure of the majority in government, save a few, to loudly denounce union intimidation, threats, violence and possibly murder is most telling—-they agree with lawlessness when it comes to unions….

It’s obvious that most, if not all politicians are up to their butts in union money—no wonder there is silence….

We are seeing the evidence of political non-action at the Port of Longview, Washington, where the Longshoremen’s Union has blocked trains, held employees hostage and destroyed property—-and NOBODY was arrested.

There is obvious complacency by the fact that the Governor of Washington State has been silent and not called out the State Police to maintain order…..despite the union defiance of a Federal Court Order……

I can assure you that union intimidation and violence—and murder will increase because they have been embolden to do so, with the support of Obama, Holder and state government….

Be prepared……you’re next for speaking out……

  • mdw – what a joke

We are already there, mdw. But unlike your group we are not going to put down roots here, we are going to keep walking until we are not in hell, and we will drag your sorry butt with us if we have to. Whether you believe it or not we simply are not going to allow you to turn the entire country into a version of your inner city paradises you have so carefully created with the best of intentions one brick at a time. We are a country of shopkeepers and manufacturers who honestly have no interest in politics, but at this point we have to take the time and effort to fix the problems in Washington, and we are the group that actually solves our problems and succeeds at what we lay our hands to, and the problem will be fixed. The gravy train is over.

Aw yes, that “collective barganing” tradition that Communists support nationwide! Collectivism is the Communist way. But there have been thousands of men who were union members who fought in WWII, Korea, Vietnam. Iraq, and Afghanistan of the men who were National Guard and Reserves were many who were union members. But does that mean we have to take this thugs abusive rant against something that if it were explained to him what we represent, would he still think we were “sons of bitches”, extremist right wingers, or terrorists who are the “Barbarian’s at the gate” or whatever Biden said? Would any of these people who’ve listened to the leftist media think we are so bad when all we represent is going back to a Constitutional government where the President can’t demand that we vote for something that isn’t even written down on a piece of paper yet? Would Hoffa demand that, this Communist collectivism he represents, his membership vote on something that he thought was what the union support without it being written down so that he could at least read what it was that was being voted on first? I doubt it. So how could he act like he hates what we represent when it exactly what he would demand himself.

You take Hoffa out of the union and he would be the head of a Tea Party himself. Unless he’s a Socialist or a Communist who doesn’t support this nations Constitution, then I wouldn’t expect him to act any differently than he has with one exception and that is he’s calling the wrong people “son of a bitches” if he really knew what those in our government have planned for the unions. You look at the history of Communist takeovers and all that collective bargaining goes out the back door. The workers take what the government gives them. Unions are job busting anyway. See, I can turn their term around on them when it’s a proven fact that there have been more companies that have gone out of business in order to keep the union out than companies who were willing to talk. I worked for one of those companies that sold itself off to get rid of the union. The new company was non union and told the former employees that they were welcome to come back but they were going to be non union. Hundreds of non union employees went back to work at their old jobs and were only out of work for a week or two until the paperwork was done between the two companies and work resumed. Except for the union guys. They didn’t want to come back unless they could bring the union back in there. And those guys had nothing. And do you know why? Because the union couldn’t do a damn thing for them if they had no job. The union is powerless outside of the work place. Their power exists only when there are jobs and the men are working. Then they can go to management and make demands the company can either agree to or turn down. But outside of the company they can’t help out with your home mortgage or utilities, or car payments or food. And most states won’t give you unemployment benefits if you out on strike because some unions do give some small unemployment benefit and those states believe that would be double dipping if they got state unemployment also. So at the company I worked at the union did nothing for the men and they were just out of luck.

The unions can’t help with nothing. So what good are they if they can’t help you in or outside of a job? They are no good except nowadays they are more involved with Federal government where they believe that the power of government going in and focing the company to negotiate with the unions as we have seen lately. That is unconstitutional. The Federal government has no authority to do anything with a private business. If a company doesn’t want to negotiate the government can’t do a thing for the union or the company.

#13 I agree. My Daddy’s been driving truck for over half a century. He said he would retire and tear up his licence rather than work for the ‘Godamned Teamsters’.

Most of the words that came out of his mouth pertaining to those teamsters should not be repeated in mixed company, but they boil down to the union being gov’t sanctioned thieves.

Fred Meyer should let them strike, and let others take their jobs. Maybe people who would appreciate having them. Just like teachers, it’s time for them to see their benefits ain’t so bad.

They’re only paying $125 a month for an entire family??? That’s a bargain! Self-employed families are paying 100% of their premiums. Don’t believe the brouhaha, $125 a month for an entire family is a bargain! They’re happy and they don’t even know it! This is just union theatre. Don’t fall for it! They are getting a good deal from Fred Meyer. They’re only pretendng they’re not.

  • That’s my lovely wife Peggy in the video. We are coordinators for Pierce County Tea Party. There’s another video on King5 website with my very edited comments.

The best part is where we were in the car and their march was crossing the street. Peggy leans out the window and yells, Sandy Pope for Teamsters president right in Hoffa’s face. Sweet moment.

Don’t know what took me so long, Big Sis has been telling us for some time that the terrorists are middle ages white guys, now I know what she meant…UNION THUGS. Hmmm I wonder when (under the leadership of “THE ANNOINTED ONE) the Homeland Insecurity Administration and the Congressional hearings are going to take place. After all the Washington Longshoremen were simply carrying out the orders to “take out the SOBs” and make the streets run red with blood. If that isn’t terrorist threats, I don’t know what is. Surely these must happen right after he hearings about the NFL. Anyone for a Right to Work Nation???

  • Dis-N-Dat

Oh yeah ad I forgot to mention the SEIU that hold the children (at least in WA state)hostage every September when they go on strike, nice… and way to go you hyporitical ^*$%#@*.

  • kellykafir

The reason they are older is because, unlike the UNION THUGS, TEA partiers do NOT get paid to be there. They are their because they are probably retired and can take the time that those of us who work or are in school cannot take off. And that isn’t even all of them! The call went out late so many didn’t get the notice until it was over!

Here is the new union song:

Look for the union label, when you are beating a woman or man
Remember somewhere, our union’s fighting, probably biting the hand that feeds us, and pays the bills
We hit hard, but who’s complaining, when we are hiding Republican votes
So always look for the union label
It means we’re willing to beat up TEA party folks!!

  • kellykafir

oops – should be “They are there…” I do know the difference – even with a public school education!

All I know is if some gooniun idiot blocks my freedom, he’ll find out what colors his insides are. More than one of them? I have multiple weapons on me at all times and the skill to use them. I’d die before I’d join a union. I don’t need some fat boob to tell me what I’m worth. I like being my own man. Never needed a union, ever. The best thing auto mechanics did was to dissolve the unions in my state.

  • American-American

I guess the incendiary rhetoric of “go to hell teabaggers” is about as creative as the zombies can get, or , not at all in other words. The Tea Party doesn’t get paid to be there. Their taxes are paying the union thug’s minions though or they would have been outnumbered. All is well who gets hurt as long as it isn’t them.
