Obama tells supporters:
“If you love me, ask Congress to pass my jobs bill.”
Really… He actually said this.

CBS News reported:
President Obama continued pushing his jobs bill in battleground states on Wednesday, telling a fired-up crowd of students at North Carolina State University that, “If you love me, you’ve got to help me pass this bill!”
Mr. Obama, speaking to a crowd of more than 9,000 people in an unairconditioned auditorium, reiterated the main points of his recently-unveiled American Jobs Act, and urged students to help him get it passed through Congress.
Framing the task as a “homework assignment,” the president called on students to “lift your voice, make it heard.”
“For those of you who did skip class today, I’ve got a homework assignment for you,” he said, “tell your Congress person that the time for gridlock and games is over; the time for action is now.”
“You can write a letter,” the president suggested, to laughter from the audience, after listing off a series of (largely Twitter-generation-friendly) methods for students to speak out. “When was the last time you did that?”
Man, what a rough day for democrats. You almost want to feel sorry for them.

I’ve already done all that contacting he’s talking about and told my Congressman to vote against it, and talk to any of his fellow rep’s to vote against it as well. It’s nothing but another “stimulus” bill and a Democrat has already called it that. And as far as telling these kids “If you love me…” everyone knows that people who say that are using a person. That’s one of the signs of mental illness or some serious personality flaw that prevents a person from having a meaningful relationship with anyone because the person must know someone…else…is committed, and that is the signal the person can pump whatever they can from people. I really wouldn’t think that the President of the United States would ever ask a group of young people “If you love me…” you’ll help me get this bill passed is not what statesmen say to the people they represent. They would be telling them the truth about the condition of their nation, good or bad, not begging for help from the people.
Besides college types are the ones who are usually very liberal anyway, just think back through the recent history of our society when back in the 60′s kids were violently taking over the Administration buildings, or the Dean’s office/buildings in order to oppose the war in Vietnam or something equally ignorant. It’s been college liberals who are always trying to tell everyone what they discovered in history class, that we haven’t found out ourselves in real life. The only thing they’ve discovered in class was some Marxist propaganda the Communist Party USA wants them to learn about our forefathers were racist fat White men who screwed their Black female slaves and generations later denied there were any Blacks in the family tree, and to top it off our forefathers were “boot leggers” of home made hooch, which these college types try to claim is where America’s alcoholism comes from and all this other crap.
And we don’t get our largest support from college types anyway because in the 2008 elections the number was high, but before that it was non existant in any election. College kids don’t vote! Let alone call their representative. I’m sure they don’t even know who their representative is.
Have you ever seen Jay Leno’s thing he does in the cities he goes to for his comedy shows, where he goes out to ask the people from that town questions about common knowledge, it’s call his “Man On the Street” routine? I didn’t know American’s who were in college were so dumb, and uninformed. Many people were just as dumb, and many were very smart, like those who were from my generation before there was a Federal Dept. of Education. My generation was the last “fully educated” generation. We’re the people who put men on the moon, and invented the artificial heart, and won more Nobel Prizes than any other country. We only give Nobel Prizes to Al Gore and Obama these days, for nothing. What can these young college types do to turn themselves around so they won’t become the liberal, Socialists/Marxists of the near future?
