Lyndon LaRouche supporters were out this past weekend at the failed Day of Rage protests in New York City. They brought their Obama-Hitler signs with them.

Funny how the media ignored these offensive signs at the far left rally, huh? Especailly after they made such a fuss out these same protesters at the tea party rallies.

The New York Times did however mention that the LaRouche protesters made an appearance. But, the Times claimed LaRouche was a right-winger – despite the fact that he ran for president seven times as a democrat .
The City Room reported:

Throughout the afternoon hundreds of demonstrators gathered in parks and plazas in Lower Manhattan. They held teach-ins, engaged in discussion and debate and waved signs with messages like “Democracy Not Corporatization” or “Revoke Corporate Personhood.”

Organizers said the rally was meant to be diverse, and not all of the participants were on the left. Followers of the right-wing figure Lyndon LaRouche formed a choir near Bowling Green and sang “The Star Spangled Banner” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Nearby, anarchists carried sleeping bags and tents.

At one point in the early afternoon, dozens of protesters marched around the famous bronze bull on lower Broadway. Among them was Dave Woessner, 31, a student at Harvard Divinity School.

“When you idealize financial markets as salvific you embrace the idea that profit is all that matters,” he said.

A few minutes later about 15 people briefly sat down on a sidewalk on Broadway, leaning against a metal barricade that blocked access to Wall Street. For a moment things grew tense as officers converged and a police chief shoved a newspaper photographer from behind.

After a police lieutenant used a megaphone to tell those sitting on the sidewalk that they were subject to arrest the protesters got up and marched south.

Obviously, they’ll do anything to pin these kooks on the right-wing.

  1. This is no different than how the Left treats the Westboro freaks who protest military funerals. They are registered Democrats, yet because they scream about Gays, they get thrown over to the Right-Wing.

Liberals are nothing but walking sterotypes!

  2. if these losers put more effort into getting a better education and moving up they might actually reap some rewards rather than expect the gov’t to keep giving them handouts…oh wait we’re talking about demoturds…sorry

  3. OOP’s #1 post must have been from media matters troll.

Obama on word synonym for FAILURE.

    powder is dry

  4. The LaRochers are trying to infiltrate the Tea Party through Ron Paul. I have seen them set up tables with this same poster right in front of my local post office which has a black post master. I agree with their positions on the FED counterfitting of currency and bailouts, but the LaRouchers do have an odor of racism and anti semitism. Here is LaRoche calling for the removal of Obama using the insanity clause of the constitution and restoring FDR through some new system of credit. Rigth vision if the problem…wrong on the answers…. http://youtu.be/4RyRZ47kHMU

  5. The rally was such a stinker that no one wants to take credit for it.

  6. These DEMOCRATS were at the early town hall meetings with their tablas and literature and the Obama with Hitler mustache and those posters were, and STILL are said to be from the Tea Party no matter how many time one is shown the pictures of them with LaRouche’s name all over them. Shows truth has no place in this political discussion any longer.

  7. Lyndon LaRouche is the David Duke of the Democratic Party.

  8. Lyndon LaRouche is nor crazy. Actually, quite s brilliant economist who advocates, rightly do, the re-enactment of Glass Steagall Act which kept our banks protected for about 60 years.
He’s not a kook at all, like Ron Paul.
And I do not think Dr Paul has anything ti di with larouchepac.com

  9. Our Marxist President is not Hitler – Joe Stalin is closer to the truth. If he only had his own KGB, we’d see how close he could come to old Joe.

Those signs will end up being attached to a tea party in the future – count on it.

  10. Bobbie, at least a year ago, I wanted to know about LaRouche and, of course, kept my butt planted firmly to the upholstery and researched (sorta’) online. It’s been a while and, because he’s not been anywhere near the top of my list of worries, I’ve forgotten the details. What I do remember, however, is that most of his allies and those he’s partnered with are proud and loud socialists/communists. And, coincidentally, just a few days ago, someone in the comments at either ObamaReleaseYourRecords or WND brought up Ron Paul’s connection to La Rouche.

I won’t bother myself to go dig that stuff up again because I’m impressed with neither La Rouche nor Ron Paul. However, you might think about digging a little deeper to learn more about La Rouche and Ron Paul. Or maybe not. Either way, don’t take my word for it; I’m not out to convince or persuade you one way or the other. Instead, I’m just sharing what I remember from when I did the digging. Do with it what you will.

I recall learning right here at Gateway Pundit that modern day “anarchists,” meaning people who call themselves “anarchists,” are what used to be called “socialists” or “Marxists.” They actually demand govt intervention: they’re wanting the govt to take from others and give to them – spread the wealth. Do y’all remember that? I think some of their socialists-in-anarchists-clothing came trolling over at GP, too, when that blog post came up.

So, the whole damned bunch of them, “anarchists” included, may very well have been radical lefturds, with not one of them anywhere near center, much less right.

  12. Neo . I believed David Duke to be a long term member of the Democrat party. To be an equivalent LaRouche would have spent 20 years as a Republica hich makes his 7 X DP Candidate run into a time warp.

  13. Harvard Divinity School. That’s rich. What do they do, train ministers for the Church of Godlessness?
