Governor Rick Perry and Mitt Romney went at it tonight.
Perry got in the best line…

  1. That’s it, fight with each other, make it appear (R) is a bunch of lunatics. hand the 2012 election back to obama (D).
    IDIOTS!

  2. Come on folks, I would be willing to bet that the same people who are falling for “Dumb (Perry) and Dumber (Romney)” are the same folks that will be scratching their heads in a few years asking the question “how did this RINO get into the WH”!
Do your homework … BACHMANN’S RECORD SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!! Bachmann 2012

  3. I agree Joey..that In State Tuition for illegals from Perry did me in from supporting him.

  4. Why don’t you post video of the audience loudly booing Perry’s support of illegal immigration?? Where’s that video? Why do you support Republican attacking Republican instead?

  5. Romney keeps saying he doesn’t understand what Perry says. I understand Perry — is Romney stupid or just condescending?

  6. The more I see the less I like ANY of them.

Yup I agree….rinos and loonie bin escapees are all I see.

  8. Bachmann’s record has always been solidly conservative… she fought for repealing ObamaCare during one of the continuing resolution budget battles and Boehner ignored her. She means it when she says she’ll repeal ObamaCare, strengthen the borders, etc,… her actions prove she means business when it comes to supporting conservative ideals. And she’s the only on the stage that has actions to back up her words.

The rest of them talk about waivers… what the h*ll? Isn’t waivers what Obama gives out? I want a real repeal… and Bachmann’s the only one who uses that word. Words have meaning.

  9. #7 Rhonda. I’m afraid that’s my reaction, too. They’re destroying each other, and that can only help Obama.

I held my nose to vote for Dole and McCain. Puhleeeze could I vote for someone I like next time?

  10. Am really getting tired of the pissing contest that Romney and Perry have at every debate, They take up way too much tiime that the other candidates can use. Let them have their own 20 minute debate/boxing match and then focus on the other candidates for the rest of the time. I still like what Cain has to say, and he is the only one that actually puts out what his plan is, not just hinting at one.

Who wants a prez from the same state that GAVE a Senate seat to Al Franken? Bachmann won’t even be able to carry her own state.

  12. I like Rick Perry all the way up to the point he starts talking about illegal immigrants. Perhaps we could hope for a swift renouncing of his current position.
Overall, I think my hope is in a Bachmann or someone who embraces the whole cadre of conservatism, and not just most of it.

  13. Are you kidding? It wouldn’t surprise me one bit
if Bachman can’t even win her house seat in MN.
And what in Bachman’s record speaks for itself?
I respect what she has done, but we need a leader.
The way she handled the vaccine business is not
just cheap politics, but dangerous. Very bad form.

  14. And those making a big issue about the TX in-state tuition are not very well informed. Not only does that state have the right to make that decision but it’s not even a big deal. I went and read the bill. TX doesn’t have state income tax and it’s not a subsidy. I thought I was for a border fence until it was explained to me how it isn’t even realistic bc of terrain. All this just makes Romney, Bachman and Santorum look uninformed. I’m all for debate, even the attacks,
but these cantidates need to get their facts straight!

  15. Perry is done thats it for him.

Romney is putting a finger in the air to see which way the wind blows…

Who will be next to shoot him/her self ?

  16. The primary process is for exactly what we are seeing. They will cull each other out. This will no more guarantee an Obama win than the far more vicious and bloody fighting between Obama and Hillary guaranteed McCain a victory. I’ve never seen a primary season without some blood. This doesn’t always provide ammunition to be used later by the Democratic opponent because the defense against a particular attack is well constructed and the spin has been perfected by that time.

Like anything else in the real world, everything is a 2 edged sword. This weeding out process will get rid of the weak and toughen the strong, but will also give advantages to the opponent during the general election campaign.

So, let them roll around and punch each other out and let the battered winner emerge.
