UPROAR BUILDS Over Joe Biden’s Tea Party “Terrorist” Remarks

Sarah Palin said Vice President Biden’s terrorist remarks “appalling” and “vile.”
Uproar continued to build yesterday after it was reported that Vice President Joe Biden said that tea party Republicans were acting like terrorists.
FOX News reported:
Vice President Biden was criticized Monday over reports of a private meeting he had with House Democrats in which Tea Party Republicans were compared to “terrorists,” though Biden denies he described Republicans that way.
A senior Democratic official told Fox News that Biden made such comments in reaction to a heated conversation with liberal House members like Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Pa., who were venting that Republicans got too much out of the debt ceiling deal unveiled the night before and “acted like terrorists.”
The comment drew an immediate rebuke from Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., one of the most outspoken Tea Party-aligned lawmakers in Congress.
“With the president holding the American economy hostage, I would prefer to think of myself as a Freedom Fighter,” Paul said in a statement, calling the remarks “insulting.”
But the Democratic official stressed that Biden made the comment to move the conversation along. According to the official, Biden added that despite the Republicans’ behavior, “we got a lot out of this deal.”
The vice president’s office also downplayed the quote.
“The word was used by several members of Congress. The vice president does not believe it’s an appropriate term in political discourse,” Biden spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said.
And these are the same people that lecture conservatives about a new tone.
Disgusting.
UPDATE: Michele Bachmann emailed supporters late Monday night to ask them to sign a petition demanding an apology from Biden.

Negotiating with Progressives in DC and New York on how much more debt this country takes on is just like negotiating with a pedophile on what kind of sex act you’re wiling to let them commit on your child or grandchild. Nothing new here. The TEA Party is a popular grass root organization. The elite Professional Politicians in Washington have learned (the hard way) it is not about to be ‘managed’ or ‘controlled’ by any Political Party. The Republicans, the natural ally of the TEA Party have turned their oh so pointed noses at the TEA Party and found, gasp!, untrained, unelected common people. and I do not just mean natural resources which GOD has blessed this land with but also human capital, intellect & self determination. . .
Our unemployment rate has skyrocketed. . .with around 20% of capable and eligible people out of work. . many for over a year or two (and employment is at the lowest level as % of population). . .with many unemployed or UNDER-employed (meaning doing jobs they are overqualified for) are those in their prime contributing years of 45-60. . . the years where they give back the knowledge and experiences they learned working 20-30 years prior. .
or the new college graduates that can’t find meaningful jobs (sorry McDonalds) that leverages their education and degree. . .and starts them on the learning curve of real life work experience
or the minds of kids in school indoctrinated with educational political correctness (Calif just passed a law to teach gay marriage to elementary school kids) rather than focusing on Reading, Writing, Arithmetic and Science. . .
but worst of all is the number of “fellow” American that have become ADDICTED to government handouts. . or paying ZERO income taxes. . .rather than do the RESPONSIBLE thing and support themselves and their family
