“We’d really get more done without you here.”

Congressional leaders were forced to ask President Wonderful and his aides to leave the White House meeting so that they could get something done.
The Hill reported:

GOP aides and lawmakers, speaking on background, portrayed Boehner as the calm negotiator who repeatedly exasperated President Obama.

Boehner last month asked the networks to televise his response to Obama’s address to the nation, a request which infuriated the White House, Republican sources said.

On July 23, they claim, the White House called Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), telling her not to participate on a call with Boehner, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). Pelosi informed Reid, who declined to participate, and the call was canceled, the Republican sources said. (A Pelosi spokesman could not be reached for comment.)

Later that day, the four leaders met with Obama at the White House. At one point, GOP officials said, the Democratic and Republican leaders asked Obama and his aides to leave the room to let them negotiate.

A tentative deal was subsequently struck, but Obama privately threatened to veto it, the sources said.

  1. Thus showing that in ANY meeting, Obama is the least qualified in the room.

    powder is dry

  2. He’ll feel better tonight when he gets some cake and ice cream and all the Mercedes Marxist line up to kiss his butt and get “their fair share” of his new 2 trillion dollar slush fund. So how many “green factories” do you think we’ll see created for 2012 ads only to be closed down once they’ve run out of Bernanke Bucks?

  3. Obama is the adolt in the conversation.

  4. Obama, leading by his absence. Everybody are better off without the inexperienced affirmative action president.

  5. Leadership from behind.

    Hope and Change.

    Jobs. Jobs. Laser focus.

  6. #3 A dolt? I agree, but he is not stupid.

He has systematically ripped apart this great nation with proven policies of destruction.

The Master of Disaster. Satan’s coco evil puff.

    powder is dry

  7. GOP aides and lawmakers, speaking on background, portrayed Boehner as the calm negotiator who repeatedly exasperated President Obama.

As if this is much of an achievement.

  8. MSM translation: that’s because the children did not want an adult in the room to supervise them.
Do I speak MSM or what?

  9. Pathetic. Obama is the worst president in US history. Vain and inept. It only keeps getting worse.

  10. Man o’ Man, does the GOP have material for dynamite political ads next year or what?

  11. When you lose the support of your peers, that’s the end of his presidency. And I hope his residency.

  12. #6 My bad, typo, but I think you make my point perfectly.

  13. #11 not only lost the support but NO RESPECT!

Respect is earned and the socialist infant bed wetter is a coco joke president.

Pathetic excuse for a human being. Lower than whale dung.

    powder is dry

  14. I foresee another Hard Pivot to Jobs in Bambi’s immediate future.

Which will make what, pivot no. 7? 8??

  15. It’s pretty bad when even San Fran Nan, the Crazy Botox Lady, can’t deal with you anymore.

  16. OK, so Obama was asked to leave so that negotiations could progress. Good for the Congresscritters.

Now when will people who truly represent the American People ask the Professional Politicians to leave so we can get our country back?

  17. After Obama leaves the White House next year, he should write a book called:

    The man is a master.

But seriously now, even Clinton looked guilty as sin when he was lying. Obama looks almost angelic. I fully expect Obama to at least develop a nervous tic or something within the next few months. I don’t care how amoral you are, constantly lying eventually takes its toll.

  18. “We’d really get more done without you here.”

    Yeah, so would we.

  19. @ #11 – I hope so, too.

@ #12 – “Adolt.” LOL! I like that. If it wasn’t intentional, you should claim it was just the same. It describes Barky perfectly.

I don’t know which tickles me more: Barky being asked to leave the meeting or Pelousy being asked not to participate in the Senate and House Leaders’ conference call. I think of that pic of her, smiling ear to ear while carrying the gavel across the lawn on the day they signed the health scare bill and how that had to have wiped the sh!t-eating grin off of her face and it makes me smile ear to ear.

  20. By the way, this tells us who was really the “terrorist” who was holding this deal hostage…and he ain’t no TEA Partier.
