Censured Democrat Charlie Rangel to Laura Ingraham: “Bill O’Reilly told me he had a secret weapon, I didn’t know it was just a pretty girl he would bring here.”
Laura Ingraham: “That’s condescending.”
He might be sexist, but it’s OK. He’s a democrat.
At the end of the heated interview Rangel apologized for calling Ingraham a pretty girl.

Laura showed that she has more balls than anyone on Fox. Holy cow, she nailed him to the wall and he could barely function. She drove home the point about two years with total control, she did not do the “gentlemanly” thing that republowimps do. Hannity, O’Reilly etc would never have nailed him so hard. Lets be honest now, there are two things going on here. While I have absolutely no love for Rangel and he’s bobbin’ and weavin’, Laura Ingraham is the most obnoxious substitute host for BO because she interrupts people to high heaven. When she’s on, the entire show is all about her and few others get a word in edgewise. If she would simply stop her obsession with her self for one minute, there might be some point in watching her on TV.
With respect to her demeanor, she is the conservative equivalent of Mark LaMont Hill – the motor mouth from Temple Univ. Both of them make watching the show a very tedious affair. I’d rather fold my laundry then watch Laura Ingraham monopolize the mic like a mentally ill person on steroids. You can see that even when other people are talking, she’s not listening one bit, instead, she’s forming words in her mouth and chomping at the bit to take over the conversation.
While she has great conservative positions, she is NOT a leader of the conservative movement because she simply has no manners when it comes to having a reasonable conversation with people. She’s an obsessive compulsive control freak – yuk!

I agree, but she’s isn’t worse of an interrupter than O’reilly is. I wish he’d just LET HIS GUESTS RESPOND. He won’t even let sympathetic guests like Dick Morris get a word in edgewise, and he’s far more interesting/informative than Bill O’reilly is. Ingraham is thus a perfect substitute for him.

He must have asked to come on the show after Alan West made such an articulate case yesterday about the Dem Party treating AA’s like slaves but I guess he was only there to muddy the waters so that no one would remember what West said. Yes, BO too is an incessant interrupter. I guess that’s why they call it the BO show – because its more about him then anything else, and its getting more and more that way all the time. I can understand that with time limitations he can’t let people ramble, however, it seems to me that BEFORE people come on the show, some staff person sits down with the guests and politely tells them to be succinct.
I am becoming less and less interested in the show because of this and then, of course, there is the juvenile segment where BO asks two other Fox hosts multiple choice questions and BO acts like Johnny Superior as he rates their performance. Is this really of interest to people? Perhaps if they axed that segment, they would have more time with the political segments.
BO has good ratings and I’m practically unemployed, so I guess I’m missing something.

She would ask a question, when he would begin his answer with an obvious liberal talking point, she immediately cut him off–because she and her audience had heard it before and knew what he would say. She really wasn’t letting him do anything more than start a sentence. I was getting ready to change the channel when I heard tax cheat Rangle was coming up. Glad I didn’t. There is nothing wrong with the host when she stops the fillibuster from a lying politician. While everything Laura said was true, she really ambushed the guy, IMO. It was not really a civil debate and that usually falls on the interviewer. DOn’t get me wrong. Anytime Rangel looks like an ass is a good and wholesome thing but interrupting the guy and cutting him off in mid-sentence is kinda cheap.
It reeks of a set up because you KNOW what Rangel’s gonna say when you ask him on, so the question is why ask him on for the same tired tripe? The only reason would be to embarrass and badger him.
